We absolutely love our newest delivery of a counter height table with leaves and 4 chairs from Geitgey’s Amish Country Furnishings! The whole team is awesome to work with, and the team that delivers the furniture takes such great care in putting it together if needed and placing it where we want it!

Great showroom selection. All products are of great quality and solid wood! I don't think I'll ever go back to shopping for furniture anywhere else with all that particle board junk.

Amazing experience all around. Rod and his team paid careful attention to every single detail -- so the kitchen island they were making for us would match our existing kitchen cabinets. Not an easy task! When it arrived, it was absolutely perfect in every way, down to the smallest detail. Literally, it's a perfect match to our existing kitchen cabinets. Their thoughtful customer service attention to detail will keep us coming back in the future.

If you're looking for quality wooden furniture built in simple Shaker (mostly) style that will literally last a lifetime, hitch up the horse and buggy and trot on down to Amish Ctry Furniture. They use a variety of native hardwoods that won'tscratch or crack easily (different oaks, maples, cherry, poplar). You won't find anything near this quality at the trendy likes of West Elm, Crate and Barrel, etc. You won't pay any more either, and the Amish don't believe in planned obsolescence.

The entire experience from start to finish was 5 stars. Highly reccomend. Sandy was incredibly helpful through the ordering process; they worked with getting us the product expeditiously. Excellent quality. The delivery guys were great, extremely helpful, friendly and kind. Could not be any happier with the experience!

Their prices were reasonable, especially for the fantastic customer service. The chairs were custom ordered and arrived faster than promised. Thrilled with the result!

I am the daughter of the business owner here at Amish Country Furnishings and although this may make me seemingly bias, it also makes me extremely well informed of the ins and outs of the business. My dad does not know I’m writing this, but I feel as though it needs to be said.

This store was my parents first born child (I am their third). Having grown up with this company my entire life, I have watched my dad (and mom, who cofounded the company but unfortunately passed away a few months ago) put 24 hours of nonstop effort into this place. Even at family dinners, we would always somehow find a way to route the conversation back to the new catalogs, updates on the website, reconsidering hours to fit everyone’s needs, etc.. My dad absolutely has way more pictures of the furniture pieces on his phone than photos that contain him.

Going to the grocery store, I was always prepared to stop and be introduced to someone he’s done business with. My dad takes care in remembering not only his customers names, but their lifestyles, preferences, family situations, and anything else he is able to learn from personal interactions. Although I used to get somewhat sick of it as a kid, I know find it extremely admirable and have grown so much respect for how much he genuinely cares about everyone who sets foot in the store. As a child, I thought most businesses were run like my parents- with a loving store dog, a small but tight knit staff team, and personal connection and honesty with customers. I will be graduating from college in two months and upon looking more into the workforce and engaging in consumerism myself, I have come to the stark realization that this is not at all the case- but it should be! Wouldn’t that be something?

I am so honored to have been a witness to all the behind the scenes work that my parents have put into this business over the last 22 years and would be lying through my teeth (or keyboard, here) to say that they shouldn’t be proud of what they have created. On the contrary, my dad always remains humble and hardworking, no matter what other hefty hurdles life throws at him.

We definitely would recommend Geitgey's Amish Country Furnishings. Ordered 2 night stands with a dresser and mirror in early Sept. Everything was delivered by early Dec. We were very pleased with the furniture as it is well constructed with quality materials and attention to details. These pieces are made to last. They obviously have very exacting standards. We had concerns about the darkness of the stain. Consulted with Karen who agreed that bringing in a drawer to compare would be a good idea. After making a comparison it turns out to be the right stain. Karen was a pleasure to work with and practices good customer service.

Great service from Sandy and Rod. Sandy was a treat to work with as she helped us choose styles and colors to complement our home. Rod then organized the team to deliver to us and the whole crew was friendly, courteous, and professional. Oh, and the furniture is absolutely stunning!

This store has awesome sheds. The tongue and groove flooring is very strong. Better than just having plywood or OSB flooring.

We purchased four rooms of furniture and accessories from Rod at Amish Country Furnishings. The customer service and the workmanship are extremely high-quality and the options in wood and leather seem endless. I’m really enjoying furnishing the home with furniture that will last a life time. I would highly recommend talking with them before you purchase anything. Really great place to work with and a fun dog to play with at the same time. (You’ll meet him once you walk in. His name is Tucker).

I just have to echo my husband's review. This is the third time we have ordered from them, and their customer service and product quality have always been amazing. Last time, we ordered a table and chairs and buffet. One of the items came in differently than we had anticipated (which was honestly mostly a communication error on our part) and Rod had it redone so we would be happy. Another example: We recently moved home after living abroad and the movers lost hardware for one of our pieces of furniture (which we had bought 10 years ago). Rod was able to identify the correct hardware and ship it out to us. The combination of quality and customer service is unbeatable.

We were extremely pleased with the entire process. The showroom allowed us to view the exact media console we wanted, along with wood and stain samples. The workmanship is excellent and the finished piece we ordered met all of our expectations. Delivery was handled in a very professional and courteous manner. We would highly recommend Amish Country Furnishings.

I went there upon recommendation of a friend to buy outdoor furniture for our church. The woman who helped me was friendly and helpful. I picked out four benches, two of which I said I'd pick up in a few days in my SUV and the other two ordered for 3-5 weeks out.

When I came to pick up the first two, the owner discovered that the price tags on the two were wrong, and substantially lower than the correct price. However, he sold them to me at the lower price and was helpful in getting them into my car.

As expected, the second 2 benches arrived about 5 weeks later and I picked them up, again getting help loading them from the staff. The furniture is superb. It is very sturdy, looks good in our church garden and has been well received.

I plan to buy additional outdoor furniture from the store in the future.

Over more than a decade, my wife and I have purchased all kinds of wood furniture from this company. Coffee tables, end tables, TV tables, kitchen tables & chairs, dressers, and bed frames... if it's furniture made of wood, they are our go-to vendor. They offer different wood and finish options. It does have a lead time on custom work as one might expect but the top notch quality craftsmanship is worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Over at least 20 years I have gone to Rod at Geity’s Amish Country for furniture. I feel bad for not going more. But see it is his own fault.
They sell “forever” furniture. You only need to buy so many beds, dressers, desks,mantles, wall units, and our last purchase was a beautiful dining set (3 years ago).
We did buy a end table on line, about a year ago, to match the furniture we got for our new condo 12-13 years ago. Rod insisted coming out to our home to check stain, and other small intricacies to make sure the new creation would match. This was not a $1000 purchase for this small end table.
To buy furniture for the same room 10 years apart and match perfectly is a huge advantage. You want your end tables, wall units to match. Both in wood grain, color, and style. That is what we got. Also the custom sizing to fit that perfect area is another great reason to shop GACF.
The quality of the workmanship is unmatched. In my business I traveled through Pa. and All over Ohio. Right here in Columbus you can get that custom solid Amish furniture, and exactly what you want. (Modern or Traditional) When I purchased our dining set they had the perfect set on the floor at a great price. Unfortunately it was too big for our area and we had to have another, only smaller built. Rod extended the same percentage sale price to us!
I am a plus size guy and most chairs I need the arms to help boost me up as I have leg issues. Rod made a design that bolted and re-enforced the arms. By appearance you would never know but in the case of tornado these are the chairs to sit in. (LOL)
My brother not being a real Wood lover like us, has his entire patio in their Poly Furniture. A glider, rocker, table , 2 chairs and 2 chaise lounges. They are beautiful and again forever.
I am not related, not sure they would even remember me, but I came across this web site and felt this was 15-20 years late in the reviewing.

I recently bought a dining room table from Geitgey's. It was a different style than what I was use to but upon delivery I fell in love with it even more. It's absolutely beautiful and makes my room look so much better. Great quality as always from Geitgey's. The delivery and setup went very well. Thank you for a beautiful product.
