Barrington School of Dublin

My 7 year old daughter has been with The Barrington School since the beginning of July. Entering during summer camp there was always something to do. My daughter also became interested in new foods and always talks about the yummy food Chef Lindsey makes for them. My daughter always comes home with a smile on her face. I couldn’t ask for anything less than that. I highly recommend The Barrington School of Dublin.

When I first enrolled my newborn at Barrington 5 years ago I was blown away with the entire experience for my son and our family as a whole. Their full year schedule really works great for us and our work schedules, and gives our kids year round time with their friends! Not having to pack diapers or meals is a huge bonus too- and the staff is so attentive and caring! Now we have 2 kids at Barrington Dublin and I can attest from the infant room to the Pre-K room the standard is the same! I didn’t understand what “organic school” meant when we first started- and now I understand. Not only organic meals, but organic learning- if my daughter needs to stand during circle time instead of sit, she may do so. It’s a practice I took home and find that my kids bodies are telling me what they need in that moment! I’d give Barrington more than 5 stars if I could- it’s been a wonderful community and my kids love going to school every single day!

Before choosing Barrington I toured 16 daycares. Yes, I know…

The people at Barrington make it special. From the admin all the way to the teachers and everyone in between make you feel like family. Within one year at Barrington every single staff member knew my child’s name. My child often runs into the building and I have to peel my child away from the teachers and friends. There are routine parent teacher conferences and the app they use gives me almost hourly updates of my child, with pictures!

The atmosphere is cozy unlike some other daycares that have felt too modern and cold. Barrington is always clean, I am truly amazed at their cleanliness considering how much of a mess my child alone can make in a day! They also have a very open building, meaning there are always many teachers around all the kids, and all the rooms have giant glass windows so everything is always monitored. Not to mention the admin sit in front of a giant screen tv that has cameras in each room of the building.

They provide the diapers, wipes, food and everything! Some other daycares may be at lower price points but do not provide the full amenities offered at Barrington. I personally enjoy the fact that I only have to focus on getting my child ready with a water bottle and they handle the rest. It gives me more time in the morning to simply enjoy my child before we head off to work/school.

Barrington has a set curriculum that they follow to teach my child various life skills and academic necessities. They also regularly put on events so parents can interact with their child at school and meet the other parents of Barrington.

I think the thing that solidified my choice to go with Barrington was how happy the teachers were. Some of the 16 daycares I toured have teachers who seemed overworked, exhausted and annoyed. Although that can happen with any job, the teachers at Barrington really do care and are HAPPY. They are a team of people really putting in the time and effort to give our child to absolute best care.

Thank you Barrington for giving this working mom some peace of mind. When my child is with you I can focus on the tasks that demand my attention outside of my child. We are so grateful for the love and care you have shown our family.

I was definitely nervous about starting my son in daycare at first. Everyone at the barrington school completely eased my worries and we came to look at them as family. My son got so excited to go to school each morning to see his friends and teachers. Seeing how much fun he was having through all the photos each day made me so happy. I absolutely would recommend this school to anyone looking for a daycare center!

Our children have attended the Barrington School since we moved to Dublin in 2014. It has been the perfect fit for our family. Our kids have received quality care and instruction. Our daughter who is now in the first grade was very prepared for the transition to kindergarten. We have found the teachers to be caring and encouraging, as well as the office administration. Our kids talk positively about their school day and enjoy all the extras (dance, music, sports classes, etc) that are offered. We are grateful to be a part of the Barrington Family.

My son is almost 2 and has been enrolled at Barrington since he was an infant. He is always excited to see his friends and teachers, and I enjoy the constant pictures and updates throughout the day about his activities, meals, naps, etc. The staff is always friendly and professional, and I absolutely adore the teachers in my son's young toddler classroom. There is no better feeling than knowing your child is safe and happy while you are away from them and I'm thankful that the Barrington School provides that for me!

We absolutely love Barrington (Tara Hill & Muirfield). The staff is incredible and our girls look forward to going everyday and talk about their teacher and friends all the time. Ashley at Tara Hill is amazing and has made our family feel so welcome since our first day there. The school's communication is wonderful. I cannot recommend them enough!

We've been at The Barrington School in Dublin since 2015. We moved from CA and had VERY high standards for our children's preliminary education and overall daycare experience. The staff has been outstanding! We feel like part of a family, not just a number. The daily communication through the use of Tadpoles is very helpful as a working parent who is always wanting to stay connected to her children. Thank you to The Barrington School for your continued devotion to child education and development.

We love The Barrington School for our two kiddos. The staff is friendly, caring and responsive to concerns. They provide all diapers and wipes and bedding, so there was less to worry about as new busy parents. One of my kiddos has food allergies and the chef has been amazing about providing alternative or modifying recipes so my daughter can enjoy them. My kids have thrived there, learning so much every day.

My daughter has been at The Barrington School for the past year and we absolutely LOVE it! I was so impressed when I did my initial visit, that I decided to drive out of my way to take my daughter there - I actually pass about 5 other daycares on my way to The Barrington each day. The others just did not have the same clean, inviting and family feeling that The Barrington did.

I am so happy with the staff and facility at The Barrington. Each day I drop my daughter off I know she is in the best hands, in a clean facility and is getting nutritious meals and snacks - I think she eats better there than at home. And the best part is how much she absolutely loves going to school and loves her teachers. She is learning so many new things and her teachers even potty trained her for me!

I have recommended Barrington to all of my friends and could not be happier with our decision to send our daughter there.

We have recently enrolled our daughter at the Barrington School of Dublin. She is our first child and we wanted to make sure that she got the best care while we work. The staff has been tremendous! They are responsive, caring, and nurturing. Our daughter is learning new things every day! We are very happy with our experience!

We are so happy with our decision to switch to the Barrington School. Our 18 month daughter was in another great school locally but it didn't provide organic meals and all the extras that Barrington supplies. After hearing how pleased our friends were with the Barrington School we decided to make the switch. We were very nervous because we were completely happy with our previous school but were looking for a better option for meals and making the getting ready process in the morning easier. Now we just take her to school not having to pack anything and it makes our mornings so much easier getting out the door.

More importantly our daughter is thriving at the new school. We can tell she is having fun and learning We love the pictures and videos we get through their app throughout the day. The teachers are amazing and we would recommend the Barrington School to anyone!

My wife and I have been trusting our childrens' care to The Barrington School on Tara Hill for the past 7 years. From our first daughter, to our 4th child who is now 8 months, I know they will be safe, and educated, and nurtured. The center is well run, clean, healthy food and as a physician I value that they spend so much time and resources on the education experience. This is more than just a daycare. This is a true school, with teaching appropriate for each age group.

With the Hoffman's as owner/operators, I have seen first hand how much time and energy they invest in this school to make it a premier education facility. Their own children attend this school. I have piece of mind that good and sound decisions are made each day that protect and nurture our children. It is such a relief to see my kids smiles each day when they come home from Barrington. They love their teachers and the activities scheduled for them each day.

Thank you Barrington for investing in my children and keeping them safe. I'm so glad we found Barrington when we did. And for two working parents with 4 children, it has been a godsend.

Both my 20 month old and 5 month old have attended Barrington in the infant room and my oldest is now in the young toddler room. I cannot fully express how grateful I am for the peace of mind I have when I drop my children off with their teachers - they are kind, caring, and attentive. Between the Tadpole notifications, daily reports, occasional phone calls, and monthly newsletters the lines of communication are always open and clear. I would not be able to go to work with confidence every day if it was not for the family we have at Barrington!

We wanted educated quality teachers, a clean building, and a family atmosphere; The Barrington School offers just that. My girls love all the teachers and directors, so much that they pretend to be them while playing at home. The comments I hear them make, while playing, reassure my satisfaction with they way they are treated. Kids normally don't lie, so I know their honestly is genuine and we will be sad to leave this wonderful family when our girls get older.

We’ve had our son with Barrington Schools in Dublin for just under a year and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff is so engaged and friendly and keeps us up to date with all that is happening with our little man. Would highly recommend to any new parents or those looking for more of a personal touch with their little ones.

I am the grandmother of a child that has been at Barrington School for almost 2 years. I regularly pick him up in the afternoons and am so impressed at the friendliness of the administrative staff when I enter the building and then also the very caring and nurturing teachers I have encountered in each of the classrooms as he has grown up and moved on. They genuinely love and care for these children and treat us all as their family, even the grandparent! My grandson says “bye friends” as he leaves and I can tell how much they do love him in the way they give me a report and make sure he has a clean diaper and is happy when he leaves. I soon will have a 2 month old there and have no reservations that he will also be loved and cared for safely and personally. The teachers are very cheerful and tend to the children as their own and I have witnessed this over and over. Can’t imagine my grandsons in any other daycare setting.

very clean,patient, organized, fun, and friendly staff. barrington offers a great hands on learning experiences and genuinely care about each and every child , and teacher. I cannot begin to explain not just how amazing each child at the center is but also their teachers! Thanks for having the farm animals come, and look forward to a future visit:)

My two year old son has learned more from Barrington than i could have ever taught him at home. He amazes me everyday when he comes home and repeats his favorite parts of the day. Each day when I pick him up, before he sees me I watch him play, smile and interact with the teachers and other kids. He's truly happy there! If there is ever an incident, i am immediately contacted (it's never been more than a little fall because he was too excited) and they explain what happened and that he returned to play as normal after extra hugs. I am 100% confident he receives so much love and care WHILE teaching him to count, sing, play nicely, share, and so much more. I am forever thankful for this school and will be sending my new baby there in a few weeks.

As a new, first time Mom with a full time job, care for my baby was top priority. I value the love, care and attention my child gets daily. It is so nice to know my child is on MY schedule- I tell them our bottle and food and diaper schedule and they stick to it (yes really!) ... having included the diapers and wipes, organic foods, and an actual curriculum the teachers plan and follow is such a blessing... I swear my 5 month old signs “all done” in sign language when we are done eating, and “more” when there just aren’t enough carrots! My family values the attention to detail we know the teachers are placing on our child! They provide constant communication about strengths and weaknesses, offer parent teacher conferences, and things as simple as “Can you please provide diaper cream tomorrow?”.... my favorite thing and what I love is that we know he has his own crib. When they post that my baby is asleep in the crib I can picture exactly where that is! The Tadpoles App has made this transition so much better, they live feed us updated information down to what his diaper was like .... supplemented with pictures throughout the day of his fun! Barrington has both given me a piece of mind and my child the opportunity to grow and learn at once! 5 stars!
