Wild Ginger

The Wild Ginger is located in Hilliard, OH next to BW3s. This restaurant is beautiful from the moment you walk in! There's a beautiful full scale wood finished bar and Sushi Bar too. My wife had the Monster Roll and it was excellent, the mango was fresh and the ingredients too. I had the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken and the Hottie Roll. The spice although listed as a spicy dish and Sushi roll was too tame. The roll and the dish I had tasted fantastic though and I would definitely get the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles again.

Super friendly staff. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were seated right away. Our server was awesome and stayed on top of refills and kept making sure we were good. The place was very clean. I had the Chicken Teriyaki, and it was delicious. I also had my 4 year old with me, so heads up to other parents/guardians, they don't have a kids menu or small portions for kids. My toddler shared my food, and she loved the salad and the rice. Will definitely be returning.

The food was delicious it was my first time but will definitely not be my last my new go to spot everyone was very helpful the atmosphere was chill and the Restaurant was very clean

The best sushi in Columbus with the most caring staff! It’s always our first choice of where to eat! The owners and managers work so hard to make sure everyone is happy!!!

We get take out because the restaurant has zero atmosphere unless you eat in the bar. Prices are a little too steep so we don't go here often but the food is high quality and they always get our order right. The vegetable tempura is amazing as is the pineapple fried rice. The sushi is also good and we trust it here.

Around 2:30pm we arrived. It was a cool quiet place that really made you feel like you were in a different dimension.
It's a good contrast compared to the busy place Hilliard Rome can be.

Every time I'm in Columbus, I have to eat here! The sushi is so good, fresh & beautiful. The tempera fried cheesecake is a must try. The service is always friendly & fast.

What a friendly experience. Right when we arrived the staff was nice and helpful, we brought the kids and they had a great time. We enjoyed all the soups, crispy duck, and Samba Samba. We found it while driving though town and we are hopeful to go back next time we are around. Family friendly but I did not see a changing table in the bathroom.

My 3rd visit to Wild Ginger and I cannot explain how wonderful everything we sampled tasted. I cannot wait to come back to try new things on my next visit! Amazing table service, the sushi Chefs were incredible and worth every penny. Look no further for your sushi and sashimi needs in Columbus.

tried some coconut curry soup with rice noodles and shrimp! i definitely recommend asking for chili oil because it is a very light soup. the server was really nice and attentive.

Very good food, a little pricy, not not bad for the portions and taste. Presentation is decent as well. Waiter was friendly, but took a bit to get back to us with the check.

If you want some tasty Asian fusion for a date night, you could do a lot worse. The sushi was very good.

Excellent staff, and wonderful presentation.
Everything is clean and run very efficiently, and the ramen bowls are huge!

Great food great service, not cheap but the food is well worth it! Make sure you go hungry as the portions are pretty big.

I ordered the Sweetheart Roll (background in this photo), plus two piece Unagi (Eel) and the Spring Rolls. My daughter ordered the two rolls in the foreground, Philadelphia Roll and Monster Roll. The sushi was fresh, delicious and really hit the spot. We will definitely be going back again!

The sushi was amazing! It was hard to communicate with our server, but overall they did a great job.

My only mistake was thinking the fried rice was for one person 😳 it was so good and the pineapple aesthetic was a nice touch! This was my second time here and honestly, there’s just so many choices I can’t wait to go back!

Update: nearly three years later, it’s still delicious! This time got the Buckeye Roll sushi as a starter and found my new favorite sushi roll. Still a 5/5 for sure.
