Beachfront Resort

Checked in on Sunday, planned on staying just one night but switched it to two nights. Great location, the decor in the room was updated, room was clean and cozy…. The view was remarkable. Will definitely be returning.

Stayed for a weekend wedding (my daughters). They are amazing. Set up, catering, and event staff were simply outstanding. I had zero complaints. I was so impressed by them. Great service, nice accommodations, quality and efficiency! 10/10 would recommend!

We are staying for my husband's birthday and little family weekend getaway. I was a little scared because some of the reviews but was so happy when we arrived. Rooms are remodeled, clean and nice. Updated decor, soft beds and amazing pillows. We had dinner at Docks, watched beautiful sunset. Overall good hotel.

This was a very pleasant surprise! I have never heard of a motel resort before until now. I'm so glad me and my family came and stayed for a few days.

Our first time staying at the Beachfront Resort didn't disappoint! Room was spacious, clean and right on the beach/lake. Plenty of chairs to sit on the beach and relax. The amenities are great. Within walking distance to the Jet Express, bars and restaurants. Doc's has great food just a few steps away. We will definitely be back and hopefully for a longer stay next time!

So love this area.. awesome place , great food over at Docks . 🦞 Bisque rules.. Don't forget the Frozen mimosa across the street 🥂🍾 Take a night , a weekend or a week vacay ... It's all good !!! 😍 .... Coffee early on the beach , enjoying the lake n people... My room was so comfy also. Will request it again n again 😘 Love the lake life !

The accommodations were very nice. We loved the private beach since public swimming is limited and nice for an evening swim after the day's activities. Onsite restaurant was good. Really close walking distance to ferry to Put-in-Bay. Saves on parking fees.

Beautiful place to stay. However, we had an issue with there being No lighting at night. None of the outside room lights were on. It was hard to see at night walking to your room. Other than that, the room was spacious and clean. It was right on the lake. Nice venue for a wedding.

We stay here every year for our anniversary. We love it. Its our home away from home. Perfect location. Restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance as well as the jet express to Put-In Bay. Couldnt recommend it enough!

We adore the Beachfront! It is a smaller simple resort with outside enterances which is nice in our opinion. Private beach and quick access to Dock's Beachhouse. Within walking distance to the Jet Express and downtown shopping. There isnt any other place we will stay at in Port. It has become our happy place. Can't wait to go back!

very simple. very clean. people are super nice. walked out my door onto the beach. and had just what I needed to relax. the sunsets and sun rises are to die for. and the beach is clean and taken care of so well. loved it! and planning my next trip very very soon! Thanks beachfront. docks bar and grill. and Ed's for being just what I was looking for......

We love this place. It is our anniversary destination.
It may not be a 5 star hotel, however it is very relaxing, it has a restaurant next door with good seafood and the best part is the sound of the lake when you wake up. We enjoy it every time. This is our 3rd year here.

Stayed here for a wedding. This is a lovely hotel with a perfect location. The staff was friendly and the GM Jaclyn was SO helpful when I had a billing issue. I highly recommend if you are looking for something in port Clinton. Makes a great weekend getaway.

Great place to stay in Port Clinton! Clean, very friendly and polite staff. Next to a great restaurant/bar. 5 minutes walking distance to the Jet Express. NO complaints here. I liked it!

Best Place I've ever been to for any occasion. On Saturday August 18, 2018. My Cousin Brother Wade and his long time girlfriend of 12 years Alexa got married here. They met in High School and one time were in the Port Clinton area and saw this place, and they love beaches and outdoor stuff, so they wanted to have their wedding here.

I stayed in the resort motel Friday Night after Reshersal Dinner and Saturday Night when wedding reception was over. Sunday moring we took down our decorations (which we had a lot of), and the staff said we can leave it up for the night and take down tomorrow morning. So we did, and we had so much deorations for 2 pickup trucks one with a cap back and another with a closed lid cover and another small car, along with a 10 footer Uhaul.

The food they served was awesome. We had over 200 people for our wedding, which they said our wedding was the biggest one they had all summer, and ours is right before the kids go back to school. We had band called The New Fashion. They enjoyed saying "MR. AND MRS. NIEDERKOHR", at certain times, which is great considering the fact they never messed up anyone's name. They were awesome. We are big drinkers, we had 3 kegs of beer, and 7 bottles of liquor. 2 whiskey, 2 sangria, 2 margarita, and 1 or 2 bottles of rum. More than what we originally planned. They ran out of 1 keg before dinner was served.

At Docks Beach House (the restaurant next door) they had everyone there just watch the wedding ceremony which started at 4 pm. Everyone there was gawking our direction in amazement a wedding on the beach in Port Clinton. They also loved listening to our band during the reception. Someone said something about the fact that people at the restaurant heard the words said by groomsmen and bridesmaids about memories over the years, and the fact they were astonished by what was said next door.

The rooms are great with a great staff that takes care of this place.

If google let me, I would give countless stars. Docks Beachfront Resort Is THE Best.

I stay here 3 times a summer or at least try too. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Never a bad time. Great beach and pier to kick back on.

I like how quiet it was there. Everything within walking distance. Good place for weekend getaway. Food around there was very good. Not to expensive too.

Had a very nice time when we stayed here. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Very pretty view of the lake and enjoyed the cabana on the beach.

Awesome place. Very clean, very convenient to restaurant (Docks boathouse, Off the rocks, Mr Ed's and public beach) 5 minute walk to Jer Express.
