The staff is really nice and the owner's really nice. If you're really into DC and Marvel you would really like this comic book store.

Great service and selection. Very friendly staff. My new favorite place to purchase board games and miniatures. Tip: If they don’t have something in stock they will gladly order it from their distributors.

My absolute favorite in Summit County for RPGs and the best in the state for Reaper Miniatures. The staff always greet customers and offer to help, though I haven't taken them up on it.
It's rare for a store to carry so many games and miniatures, and yet they also have an enormous collection of comics and collectibles as well. It's definitely worth the drive to check it out.
UPDATE--unfortunately the store has had a big downturn in games sales and they are now exclusively a comics store. They did have comics/Manga related merch, a few cool model kits, and some paperbacks as well.

The oldest, continuously owned comic book store in Akron! John always goes out of his way to make his customers happy and treats everyone fairly.

An amazingly clean and organized store. You all know the stores that just have junk everywhere. Not this place. John has a great organizational process for tracking pull accounts. I never have an issue with not receiving my pulled comics. Great offering of board games and there is always a table full of nice merchandise at the front that’s discounted. Can’t beat the quarter boxes either! I’ve found some comics many a times that I’ve been looking for in the quarter boxes. Friendly and helpful. Need not go anywhere else in the Akron area.

John never ceases to amaze me! I have been a long time customer, and always will be. He always has what I'm searching for, comics, games, anime related collectibles, and much more. Thank you for everything, John! You made my little girls day by having Miraculous Ladybug books!

They didn't really have what I was looking for but when it comes to comics and role-playing games, there's not many places around the city of Akron or Summit county that deliver the way these guys do.

Great gaming store that I've been going to for the last 25 years. They have everything you need for role-playing games. A huge selection of board games and they sell new and vintage comics.

Has an incredible range of comics and games. The owner is extremely friendly and the staff usually give a discount when you buy a certain amount of comics. This is one of the best comic and games shops I've ever been to.

I have found so many treasures at Kenmore Komics over the years, from favorite board games to RPG modules to collectible cards and figures and MSTK3K coasters and comic books for me and my nephew. John and his employees are knowledgeable and friendly and stock a great store, go see for yourself!

Good prices,they dont overcharge. I went to a couple game stores the other day looking for certain games,nothing. Kenmore Komics had almost every game in the series I was looking for! Grabbed a couple and I'll be stopping by again soon for more.

Need Comics? Go no further than this well-stocked store in the heart of Kenmore. Great source for current and back issues (recent, Gold and Silver-Age) gaming figures, graphic novels, books and more.

Staff is very interested in making sure you find what you need, so I'd suggest asking about anything you are looking for; This leaves you time to peruse the boxes and racks that fill the store. Worth a trip off the highway, or traveling to if you live out of the area.

Tons of comics and gaming stuff! I recently got back into Star Wars comics, and Kenmore Komics makes it really easy to find the new issues every week and recent releases are kept in stock with tons bagged ready to browse. There's a little bit of everything for gaming from Magic to Star Wars Destiny to Fantasy Flight big boxes games and collectibles and everything. I was surprised at the amount of stuff available... and he gives 10% off when you buy $50 or more in gaming products. Great place!

I've been going to this place for years. John and his staff are professional and are the best in the business. Awesome selection of comics, both new and back issues, board games, role playing games, and other collectibles.

This is the place for comics and games. Wide range of board games and RPGs. Good selection of miniatures for war games and such. Full service comic ordering. Lots of current & back issues as well as graphic novels on hand.

Be sure to check their hours, because not open every day.

Awesome place with lots of comics both new and old. The big draw for me is all the tabletop RPG books here. If you're into comics or tabletop RPGs, this is the place to check out.
