Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Quickly seated outdoors. Place was packed and quite loud. So prepare for that. My vanilla latte was delicious. To be quite frank- EVERYTHING was delicious! My pancake, bacon!! Mmm!! The jelly. Nothing tasted oily- everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection!

The service here is always excellent. They’re all so attentive and quick. Food is always 10/10. They have an app that you can add yourself to the waitlist from home and it’ll tell you when to show up. V helpful. Bread pudding french toast, Bacon sweet potato smash, and pork belly fried rice are 🔥🔥🔥

This place was always on my To Visit eateries since seeing them in the pride parade! The food was delicious, classic american bfast with a yum selection of sides to go with everything! Took a solid before and after of our plates!

Excellent breakfast/brunch place with several good options to choose from. All the usual favorites are there - French toast, omelets, Benedicts (several different kinds) and also several fresh juices & mimosas.
They don't take reservations & the place can get busy on the weekends, so be prepared for a bit of a wait to be seated.
We had the avocado Benedict, French toast, scrambled eggs & omelets. All of them were uniformly good. The sweet potato pancake was an unusual option & very tasty.

"Hey Mom, I have a new breakfast joint!" This restaurant ROCKS! Why? Simple.

SNOOZE provides the trifecta of what I look for in a breakfast spot: (a) the eatery is spotless and well-designed, with a super handsome (read: swanky) decor in all its Mid-Century splendor; (b) the food is superb, with ample portions and fantastic variety; (c) the wait staff is just flat out fantastic! My food server was Antoinette and could not have been more charming or engaging.

This will instantly become my go-to breakfast spot, not only because it's great food with a sweet atmosphere, but the 5 minute walk from our new digs makes the situation all the better.

Thanks SNOOZE for hitting all the marks. Next time, I'll try your "World Class Pancakes" and "To Die For Bacon," as Antoinette (aka Best Server Ever) suggested.

My first visit from UK 🇬🇧 And this has to be the finest breakfast I’ve had. Your almond latte was delicious and soothing.

Really cool breakfast spot w/ some unique breakfast options & good coffees. Known for their 3-pancake flight w/ choices from usually 6 different kinds of pancakes, including seasonal ones. They also have vegan pancakes.
I believe they're certainly worth it (price & location) to come here for a chance at some really tasty breakfast that you might not be able to get elsewhere.
Highly recommend getting here no later than 9am if you don't want to wait too long to be seated. Del Mar location actually has appropriate parking, which is a deal-maker for me personally.

Favorite spot in SD for breakfast. Great options! Never had a poor meal. Every meal myself or the person I'm with has thoroughly enjoyed their dish. The service is always great! Nice humans who seem to enjoy what they do. The music is one of my favorite parts! They play such great music ranging from 90s pop to classic rock and today's hits. Love this place! The one in Hillcrest is also awesome!

Wait staff were efficient and friendly. The wait was worth the time. We had 1.5 hours wait on Saturday but had some errands to run in the shops in this area. Ample parking and smooth ingress and egress from the shopping complex. The food was served hot and nothing was missed. The watermelon juice was tasty and refreshing. Bathroom was clean. Music playing was lively and loud but not difficult to have conversation in a booth. Patrons respectful of COVID-19 regulations. Table and seats were clean.

Last Saturday afternoon my friends and I wanted to go grab brunch so we decided to go to snooze. I just love this place because they always give good food and atmosphere here is always fun. They get crowded everyday of the week here but especially on weekends. We had to wait 45 minutes to get a table of four but it's worth the wait. One seated we looked over the menu and I decided to get shrimp and grits. My friends got the pancake flights, Benedict combo, and a short rib loco Moco. I just love shrimp and grits and they do it well here. The shrimp was fresh and flavorful and the grits were cooked perfectly with a nice creamy texture to it. I luckily got a chance to take a bite out of all my friends food and thought everything tasted great. I think I'll have to come back for a Benedict combo next time. I always love coming here because the decor is nice and it's always filled with people so it feels so fun here. Great place to have brunch.

If you love breakfast, you have to try snooze a.m. eatery. The menu has great variety from your traditional favorite breakfast foods to yummy, creative pancakes. I'm always happy with whatever I've ordered.

The food was really good, especially the grits lol. They were packed so make sure to reserve a spot early. The environment was nice and laid back and the customer service was exceptional excellent.

Snooze AM Eatery is an outstanding restaurant. I had the sweet potato pancakes with bacon and is was absolutely delightful. The pancakes were fluffy, sweet and savory. The bacon was crispy and cooked just right.

My colleague had eggs Benedict and the experience was joyful. The service was excellent and they keep this restaurant spotless.

This is always a great dining experience and I highly recommend that you check it out.

I had to have the crab benedict -- again! It was delicious... Perhaps it should be served with a Lipitor? 😂

Wonderful Saturday morning breakfast on the patio. Our server Cindra was awesome. 3 egg Omelets and the blueberry pancakes were delicious. A very good breakfast experience to start our day.

Found this place on just a random Google search. Certainly one solid breakfast. Good portion sizes, great service. Placed a pick up order around 10 on a Sunday certainly was busy for anyone dining in. Either come early or prepare to wait. Worth the wait in my opinion. Excellent job👌

Anytime you want a Great Eggs Benedict this is the place! I had the Habanero Pork Belly Benny & the Chile Verde Benedict with a side of their homemade sausage gravy. It was amazing!! One of my favorites is the Hash & Eggs also there link sausage is really tasty!

We have a group of long time friends that meet regularly for coffee and eats called “the breakfast club”.

I finally broke with tradition and ordered an unfamiliar dish. Hello Breakfast Pot Pie!

A delicate and deliciously flaky crust pocket filled with sausage gravy, an egg of your choice and a hash brown patty.

Probably the best thing I’ve had this month!

Added a side of pork belly to boot. It was a tad fatty for me but hey, it’s pork belly!

Putting the pot pie on the favorites list!

Having a reservation is recommended as we had to wait around 30 minutes to get a table.

Snooze is a breakfast place that I will continue to visit for many years to come. The decor is fun and there is a lot of livery going on by the staff. The restaurant is clean and is staffed by some very efficient employees. Our waitress was attentive and got our order right the first time. She provided many great suggestions and always made sure we didnt need anything. The food was phenomenal and creative, they have many unique plates to try and I can’t wait to visit next.
