What a lovely place. Vibe is welcoming and the setup is warm. I tried the bagel sandwich (offered only on Mondays) which was so good. I've never had an onion bagel where the top had sweet cooked onions baked on there. I ordered ahead added a note on the bottom to please make the bacon crispy and they totally did. Yum! The toilet has a baby changing table. There is outdoor dining around back in the large parking lot. Cashier was friendly, owner was too. I can't wait to try the lemon poppy scone and their sour dough bread! The bread was too difficult to pass up, what's another $10? I look forward to trying other offerings! I totally dig this place.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wingen Bakery in Livermore, California, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a charming ambiance that instantly put me at ease.

One of the highlights of my visit was trying their Bone Dry Hard Cider. With its crisp, refreshing taste and just the right amount of kick at 6.9% alcohol, it was truly a wonderful beverage. The cider was expertly crafted, delivering a perfect balance of flavors that left me wanting more with each sip.

The staff at Wingen Bakery were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or indulging in their delicious baked goods, Wingen Bakery is a must-visit destination in Livermore. Easily one of our favorite spots in Livermore! As a mom it’s my go to place to bring my kids, hands down the most kid friendly restaurant I’ve ever been to. Who else gives up table space to have a kids play kitchen and coloring area! The food is always amazing and with so many seasonal options both sweet and savory there is always a reason to keep coming back. We love them so much we even had them cater our baby shower and make our daughter’s birthday cake! Coming to Wingen feels like a home away from home, you’ll be greeted not only by the friendly staff but Aimee and Bryan are always around making sure everyone is very well taken care of and it definitely shows!

This place is really popular at the moment. Line was pretty much out the door. I ordered the bacon and egg sandwich with their pop tart. Not bad. My friend ordered the savory danish. Next time I’ll go with a croissant and some quiche. Good coffee there too.

I have been obsessed this bakery since they were a staff of 3 baking bread with their daughter in their home during 2020 and a combination of their integrity, compassion, love and kindness has created my favorite safe space in Livermore. Their bread bagels and pastries are an amazing addition to any meal at home and everything you order at the bakery tastes like it’s made from the best ingredients and sprinkled with love. The staff treats customers like they really care and the bakers are smart and innovative with their FRESH DAILY creations. Friday Pizza is a weekly date night must and their biscuits and gravy recipe has been perfected so well that if you are there on a Sunday and don’t order it you must be crazy. More importantly they love to support their community, local makers, local farms and businesses, worthwhile causes and inclusive events. I have lived in Livermore for 34 years and my favorite version of this town is one with Wingen Bakery in it.

Highly recommend making this part of your stop to lovely Livermore. The scones are moist and made of high quality ingredients, the sourdough bread is as good as we've had and the service was excellent. Really appreciated the baking staff's attention to detail.

A long overdue RAVE for Wingen Bakery! I had the pleasure of ‘meeting’ Aimee and Bryan during the pandemic via social media. At that time, our town was issuing cottage bakery licenses and the Wingen’s were getting rave reviews and always selling out of their sourdough baguettes.

Not only was the bread making social media buzz, but their very personal story of why they were baking at home surfaced. This young couple left their jobs after the birth of their baby girl Waylynn to care for her. This very quiet couple shared their story of heartbreak and grief as they baked alongside of her, while she fought a devastating terminal disease.

When the storefront bakery opened, we found our new regular brunch spot. The menu may be small, but the quality of the food, the creativeness and the flavors are amazing! The ingredients they use are fresh and local, supporting many other small businesses in our area. The quality is always consistent, the service is very friendly and professional. The bakery itself is spotless, super cute and even has a room dedicated to Waylynn.

If you haven’t been, check them out! Get there early if there is a special because they sell out quickly. The egg sandwich, chocolate chip cookies and the new pizza night menu items are the best in town.

My family and I have dined with them countless times and have probably eaten everything on the menu & met every employee. Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. The ingredients are so fresh and thoughtful, it’s art. A must visit in Livermore.

This small family run bakery is amazing. They always have seasonal specials and everything comes out great! Highly recommend!

Wingen Bakery is everything a treasured community bakery should be! We moved from Livermore but make the drive every weekend to get the goods! And by goods I mean delectable sourdough goodness! The bread, the bagels, english muffins, the croissants, the poptarts, cookies, quiche, sandwiches..so many things to list! And don’t get me started on pizza night! Truly the best! Quality ingredients shine through in everything they make. They are always welcoming and provide a great space. Can’t wait for this weekend!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Wingen Bakery! Their food is delicious, fresh and carefully curated. The people are kind, warm and friendly. The atmosphere is tops! Cool, yet cozy. Chill, yet inviting. It really is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a nice meal or meeting with friends. You go because the food and the fresh baked goods are AMAZING! Then you learn about the owners and how much they care for and give back to the local community and you only wish you had found them sooner! They take such care and pride in selecting fresh, local, sustainably sourced ingredients. Plus, they just love and appreciate their customers!
Did I mention how good the coffee and pastries are?!
My family loves it, I’m GF AND they also have yummy things for me - my fave!! I can’t recommend the crustless quiche and the GF muffins enough!

We love Wingen Bakery! They have the best sourdough bread (which is why you find it on the menu at many local Livermore restaurants, too!) and their pastries and breakfast dishes are so delicious. Breakfast is one of our favorite times to go but their lunch options are great, too and their menu changes to keep you interested! Don’t even get me started on their newest Friday Pizza nights - they are so good! Great pizza flavors and such a fun vibe. They also have a play kitchen to keep your kiddos entertained and you can watch them make bread. Wingen really does it all! On top of the great food and the great service their team provides are the owners - Brian & Aimee - who are some of the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Happy to support local!

This place was a surprise. Hadn't heard of it before until we were walking down 1st street and saw a sign for it to go down the side street. Great fresh and high-quality food.

Fresh pastries and sour dough bread to take home as well.

Our second time to Wingen— just happened to see the sandwich board at the corner of first Street and South Livermore when another shop down the street was really busy. Today we enjoyed the artichoke deli sandwich and turkey pepper sandwich with Matcha and Coffee—so good. Great vibes here. 💕

Best pastries and pizza in Livermore! We love it in here. The crew is super attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed and charming! They host different events through the year mainly for families with kids. Thank you for all your hard work!

The best bakery that Livermore has ever seen. The breakfast sandwich is unbelievable, the perfectly seasoned semolina bread is worth waking up for, and their pastries are worth being fat for. The entire staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. They just started making pizza and it’s incredible. 10/10 recommend if you’re into good days and stuff.

Wingen Bakery is absolute magic. Their food, coffee, team, ambiance, & hospitality are stellar. I really appreciate how attentive and intentional they are in everything they do. You’ll likely see a line out the door and there’s a reason for that! Yes, you might have to wait a little bit for your fresh and delicious food, but it is so worth it! Wingen is a gem and I’m so grateful they’re in Livermore where we can frequent often. I love supporting a business who cares for their team, guests, community, & the world with passion and purpose.

The folks at Wingen sure know how to bake! From their cheesey bagels, to their sourdough country bread, they have it dialed in. Add some great customer service to that, and you have one helluva local bakery.

I highly recommend their olive loaf; it tastes amazing and makes for the perfect tuna melt. And make sure to get a few of their brown butter chocolate chip cookies...absolutely killer! Also make sure to try out their pizzas on Friday nights.
