8UP Elevated Drinkery & Kitchen

If you are around Louisville, this is the place to be for your cocktails and tasty bites. We were on the road from mammoth caves on the way to Indiana and had light evening dinner here.
Place is not so packed due to late Sunday evening, they have sat us down quickly. Had real tasty shrimp and wings followed by their chicken sliders. We also added a margarita pizza to top off the evening. All the food was tasty and service was attentive and fast. Plus the view is nice if you step outside.

Great atmosphere and service. Food is good but not blowing your socks off. Drinks are great and Steve-o definitely needs to smoke any drinks you get

Great atmosphere and ambiance. Our server Shane was amazing! Friendly, professional and on point! She rocked! The food was amazing as well! Don’t be deterred by negative reviews. I rebooked my cancelled reservation after being scared reading some bad reviews and took the risk. Chef Wes came out and thanked us for visiting and brought out our dessert himself. Highly recommend the Stewed Beef and Tempura Mushrooms. Cocktails were delish too! 👌🏼

Great atmosphere!. That's it. As in other people's reviews, the NY steak was undercooked and a lot of blood came out when I cut it. So I received the food again. You shouldn't expect anything about taste. It's just a restaurant with a good atmosphere. It is a good place to have a good time with friends.
I recommend parking on the 1st floor if possible. There is a parking building, but you have to move back to the first floor and change to another elevator.

We had pleasant experience. Great food and excellent service. Keep in mind that your food is cooked to order so order a couple appetizers when you get your drinks, and enjoy your time. You won’t regret it and we will be back. Ohh and make a reservation.

Good mix of vibes. Music was on point! Great place for a date night. Our server Luke was fantastic.

Great food, had lemon drop, hummus, chicken sliders and lamb chops! Food and drinks were great! And would definitely come back for more soon! However 1 complain which I don’t usually write is my server. Vaniece. She gave us our check when we weren’t even done yet, Nor was it time for the restaurant to close or even near that. Which made us feel like unwanted or unwelcome at the restaurant sadly.. but otherwise the food was great 👍🏼

Wow, 4th time @ 8UP, even better than I remember! Have to shout out our amazing server Annie, she was completely wonderful, super attentive, and really elevated our experience. Everything was delicious, we wanted to try the NY strip too, but it was sold out for the evening.. honestly it did not effect our visit. The potato’s fritters, shrimp and grits, and cheeseburger w/ fries were ALL amazing!! Got the bourbon pineapple upside down for dessert, it killed!! Hope to be back very soon! Thanks.

What a wonderful experience. This was my first time here. I attended for a company Christmas party. We had one of the rooftop igloos rented. Everything we ate was fantastic. Our server was new, but she was SO on top of it! The igloo was nice, but just be aware that even though it has a heater, the server will have to open it to come in and out many times. So it didn't stay truly warm inside. They do have some blankets, but you may want to bring your own if everyone wants one. While the website says they're intended for 8-10 people, we had 8 and it would've been a little too tight with an additional 2 people. There was not much table space. It's more like a coffee table with some end tables. Unfortunately we were there on a rainy night, so we were not able to enjoy the outside fires and stuff. We only stayed in our igloo. That was still enjoyable all on its own, but I think having those extra perks on the rooftop would've added to the experience.

Wonderful experience! From the time we met the hostess and mentioned it was our anniversary, to the final dessert, they tried to make sure it was a special memory for us. It took a while for the initial server to greet us, but once she did she was attentive and helpful. Kylie was awesome and helped to make our special night even more special.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. I let staff know ahead of time and they really went above and beyond to make her feel special. I’d give the service more than five stars if I could. We’ll definitely be going back

This was the Butter & Bleu salad, so good. The service was excellent! was a very nice dining experience. I really didn't care for my Manhattan. Overall great place.

With reservations at a great table secured, we showed up early to avail ourselves of the servive and existing expertise at the bar forse. Sara decided that she was do her thing, creating such an amazing, friendly and all'around wonderful experience we were loath to part with her, and Jodi's, company, leaving us Rhett that only option of taking our entire meal there at the bar.

This prooved to be the very best option; observing my birthday early, we were able to observe both of our birthdays early, as we share a birthday with with other.

She made excellent bourbon selections based on my palat's preferences, again and again.

I, and we, very much look forward to it next vodka to Sara's bar at 8Up. Good, good and solidly _good_ times.

My husband took me there for dinner this last Friday. This weekend before 💝 Day. They have these clear igloos that you can get out on the patio. They do have a requirement of a minimum purchase of $250 & no more than 2 hours in there. But they are worth it!! They each have a theme. We got "Casino night". They also have a "Bourbon" one. They had a "Love" one,ect. It had a little fake fireplace in it to keep us warm. There was only the 2 of us but it could have seated 8. We ordered mini fried chicken sliders for apps,YUM!! Main course he got Shrimp n Grits & I got a Smashburger that was so good!!! Food a 5. Atmosphere a 5. The only reason I rated Service a 4 was we waited 15 min when we first got there & we did have a reservation & no one really talked with us..but our server was awesome!! Highly recommend for something different than your typical nice restaurant.

Good atmosphere to have some drinks in the sun with nice downtown views. Make sure you bring a card though, as they only let me pay cash if I had exact change.

We had already had dinner but our evening plans got canceled and we weren't ready to go home. This place has an awesome ambiance for night time chill.

Truly best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. Salmon dish was cooked perfectly. Clearly a true professional running the kitchen. Service was good and nice atmosphere on the rooftop overlooking downtown. I’d come back anytime.

Great place for drinks. Prices were right in line with most restaurants of the same type. Portions were very generous including the pours. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The outside patio looked like it would be enjoyable however it was raining so ate at the bar. The Luxe lemonade was a favorite of my wife and the 8up Old Fashion was very well made. Highly recommend for a night out.

Great atmosphere and amazing staff. Our server Bri was very personable and helpful with everything. I never have had a staff member at any restaurant ask what mine and my wife's name was, and address us by our names. The ribeye and salmon were hands down best I have ever tasted. A must to try when you visit Louisville.
