Pleasant Street Diner

I am here every week and the staff is fantastic, especially my Sunday waitress! It is my favorite breakfast spot. I look forward to the great environment, outstanding food, and substantial portions. I have yet to leave hungry. The price for the quality cannot be expressed enough. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time and a wonderful meal.

To set the record straight about my Haddock I only use fresh un frozen large pieces of Haddock...as a result the batter of the Haddock can tend to be crispy becase of the length of the cook time..Because the Haddock is so large the Haddock takes longer to cook..even though its crispy on the out side the inside is always flakey and not dry....On one of my reviews the lady is poorly explaining my food...but goes on to say my lobster roll is the best...my fries are hand cut fries depending on the potato they send me sometimes there darker in color some times there lighter...but there always hand cut fresh potatoes

The spinach & cheddar super sized omlet was absolutely delicious!

Great food. The home made chips and tater tots are awesome. Burgers are awesome. And so are the tuna melts. Potato salad was amazing. The owner of the diner is a very down to earth straight forward no bs woman. She is very nice. Awesome food awesome atmosphere will be going again!

A great little hole-in-the-wall off of route 56. I'm not from the area, and really needed a coffee and some eats--this was a great find. It's a small, intimate place with friendly staff. The food was good--the home fries were definitely from scratch and I'm pretty sure my omelette had some fresh spinach in it too. The portions were hearty for the price, and I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. Overall, if you're looking for something on the way to/from Spencer or Leicester, this is a great little diner.

Having both breakfast and dinner here I was very impressed. The food is fresh and very tasty. The owner and staff are very friendly courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend Pleasant Street Diner

Update: so good we went a second day in a row. The pancakes were bigger than MY LIFE.

Clean , neat, great conversation, food was great and I'm sure I will be dining here in the future. Bring your kids for free toys . Budget breakfast and a pancake challenge.
