TownePlace Suites by Marriott Springfield

We got in late after a concert at The Anthem and the receptionist upgraded our room to ensure we all had a good night's rest. She was funny and courteous and made the transaction super pleasant. The room was clean and tidy and it was nice and quiet. I slept so well and so did my hubby and kids. Breakfast was complimentary continental and the options were plentiful. The food was tasty and pleasant. I would recommend this spot for sure. We ended up in a 2 bedroom queen beds suite with living room and kitchen. Super lovely 😍

Overall it was a nice stay.

The hotel is located just next to a highway exit however I did not get usual highway noice. There are a lot of food options in walking distance. And it is also just 20 minutes ride afar from the National Mall.

Breakfast was typical, but, overall, I would say, — it was better than I expected.

Room was in a good shape but bathroom was a little old.

When I first entered the parking I had impression that it is packed, however, in fact, there is a lot of additional space just around the corner.

I would not mind stay here again.

This is a simple, straightforward hotel with wonderful service! It’s in a great location with many convenient business and restaurant options nearby, quite walkable. Breakfast buffet each morning is quite nice here, too.

We had an awesome 3 nights stay - family of 4. Great service, special thanks to Vicky who welcomed us and made sure we have everything we need. Breakfast has enough variety and served hot and on time. Location is perfect, quick drive to the nearest metro and groceries/restaurants are just a few walks away. Close to tourist places, just a 20min drive to the national mall. Overall we had a great experience, value for money, we are definitely coming back.

10 out of 10 ! Chelsea & Michelle were just amazing, they were polite as ever, made sure I was fully informed about everything I needed to know, the hotel itself is beautiful & very clean. I just admire how helpful & kind they were, it’s my girlfriend’s birthday & they really helped with just making it even better , accommodating us in every area to ensure we had a great stay. If you are in the Springfield area & want an at home feeling, this is the place! Thank you again ladies!

The staff are well trained in customer service, very friendly and attentive. The room is comfortable and spacious enough for myself, my husband and our two dogs. The free breakfast offers an ample variety to start the day, and fresh coffee is available 24/7.
The manager has gone out of his way to make us (and our dogs) feel at home and is very attuned to what his guests needs may be. The price is for all of this is reasonable, and the hotel inside and out is well maintained.
I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay.

Not the easiest place to get to, if you're not from the area. But the rooms are fantastic, bathrooms are nice. Kitchenette has everything you might need to cook a meal, even a cookie sheet. The service, of course, at every Marriott is wonderful, kind helpful staff. I missed breakfast both mornings of my stay due to an early meeting, but I hear it's great. The area is not bad. There is a restaurant or grocery store from every nationality within a mile. Had some excellent Japanese food one night and some Vietnamese food the next. Traffic is less than to be desired but the parking lot is safe. Outdoor pool is closed but it's too cold anyways!

Great hotel right next to the Tesla Superchargers. We were stopping here overnight on a road trip. The room was in a great location, as we have a kid and she can be loud. The room itself was pretty good quality. The staff was all nice to us and helpful when we needed.

I'm on my third of five days here (four nights) and have loved it! My room was clean, spacious and well-stocked upon arrival... and I was even able to check in early. All staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (from the dining staff to desk managers to drivers)! The shuttle service is amazing-- TownePlace Suites is close to a lot of dining but it helps to have a shuttle to the metro. All employees have been quick to check on me or answer questions-- even give recommendations to local attractions. The breakfast has more choices than I need and everything is delicious (noted that there are great healthy options like soy milk, fruit, and an oatmeal bar as well as waffles/eggs/etc). I will definitely be returning!

Angela, and her staff at the front desk are amazing! Always willing to assist you. They made me feel at home! I stayed 6 weeks with my two cats before moving to Germany. Jannina, and her team of cleaning ladies were the best, nice, responsible, respectful and professional. Because of the new Covid policies they clean bedrooms once per week but if you need something in between, they will be more than happy to assist you. The location is more than convenient, supermarkets, all kind of restaurants, Springfield Town Center, Trader Joe’s and more just in a walking distance. Speed internet, no connectivity issues at all as I teleworked during my stay. Highly recommended!

Stayed in the 1 bedroom queen.

Room was great, plenty of space, feels like home away from home.

Front desk was extremely helpful and accomodating.

Bed is extremely comfortable. Couch and chair were not great, but were not bad.

Kitchen is better than most home suites I've stayed in. Plenty of space nice fridge and a 4 burner stove. Dishwasher too!

It's been a great home away from home while I'm displaced from my home. I'd highly recommend if you need a spot bigger than a hotel room and cleaner than most of the alternatives I've stayed in.

I only just checked in and already I know this place is going to be great. I spend roughly 90% of my time staying in hotels for work. The room is good size for one person or a couple. Full (but small) kitchen. Even has a oven. Comfortable bed. The hotel seems on the older side, but they are clean and well maintained. Great location. Really close to Dullas airport and about 1.5 hours to BWI. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a long term stay or even just over night. I haven't had the breakfast yet but one of the other guests told me that it is better than the normal hotel breakfast.

Everything was clean, quiet, I loved my room. It was very spacious. The area has a shopping mall just 5 mins up the road. A great wine store just across the street. This hotel also serves REAL breakfast. Eggs, candinan bacon, and a Belgian waffle just to name a few items. I will be back 😁😁

The manager, Angela is really awesome! Angela and her team have gone beyond the norm to ensure that my extended stay is fantastic. This is is my first time staying here, and I will surely be back. My home away from home.

Friendly service staff. The staff were all nice, helpful, and greeted you as you walked passed them. Decent rooms and a location near the highway as well as near some various, decent, restaurants. The rooms were spacious for the most part, but the sink/toilet were a little cramped.

We suffered a bad accident on 95 and had to get a hotel. We were so delighted that there was a TownePlace Suites!
True to form the suite was great and the staff was super. Shout it to Angela Rashad, general manager and Luke Robert's! They make you feel like you are family. Everyone was great!

(I am a Marriott employee)I stayed here for 2 nights and in these two nights I can happily say I’m impressed!! The staff here were supper friendly from the front desk to the houseman on duty Chris he was awesome !! Even when I had a problem with my hairdryer the housekeepers who don’t speak much English didn’t hesitate to bring me a new one :) the best part about the whole experience was the free breakfast omg I love me some chocolate chip waffles !! With whipped cream if I’m ever back in this area I won’t even consider other hotels I’m looking at you townplace Springfield VA!! Y’all are awesome,.... and came in clutch with the free board games too. Oh and my girlfriend loves all the little pups running around hehe that was an added bonus :)

I drove my parents to the Auto Train, but they were staying overnight here at Townplace Suites the night before.
There was a mistake with their reservation, (our mistake) and the front desk clerk was very helpful in getting it fixed.
Also, I needed to catch a subway to get back into DC and asked the front desk clerk where to catch the Metro. He gave me directions to the closest stop and then came out to our car to give me the written address to be sure I found the station. He went above and beyond the regular front desk duties.
We will definitely stay there again.
