Baku Delicious

I recently visited Baku Delicious and it was an incredible experience! I had the opportunity to try some delicious Azerbaijani dishes and purchased some Azerbaijani wine as well. The flavors were authentic and truly delightful.

The owner of the restaurant was incredibly friendly and kind. She took the time to talk to me and made me feel welcome. The service at Baku Delicious was top-notch, with attentive staff who provided excellent recommendations.

I highly recommend Baku Delicious to everyone! The service is amazing, and the food is the best. If you're looking for a fantastic culinary experience, this is the place to go. Best of luck to the team at Baku Delicious!

Amazing food and such kind service. We were happy to visit after having visited Azerbaijan 10 years ago,and this is essentially the only restaurant in the entire US that comes up when you search Azerbaijan food. And it didn't disappoint! A great shopping selection of jams, candies, and teas, a decent sized menu for such a small place, and incredible food! Nothing beats a good cup (or three) of Azeri tea. It's a 4 hour drive from me but I will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. We just happened to go here. We ordered a number of desserts and the azerbajan tea pot. All of the desserts we ordered were fresh and tasty. The tea was really good as well.

Had their food year ago when my sister in law brought it as a gift. It is such a cute place, and has awesome decor. Lot of great options from former soviet union countries, especially from Azerbaijan. Ordered several items and they were all amazing!!!! The customer service is top notch. Mrs. Fidan was very pleasant and welcoming and explained the items and had huge smile the entire time!

Incredible... Everything they make is a masterpiece. The aftertaste of honey cake is really good. Highly recommend.

Open for the last five years in a Fairfax strip mall is an oasis of Central Asian and Eastern European goods. This Azerbaijani market sells all sorts of products from frozen pelmini to chocolates to juices. If you have lived in this part of the world, you'll love it!

In the back is a cafe that sells lunch items and pastries, including baklava. (It's among the best baklava I've had in the area.)

My first time stop at this store became a delighted experience! The owner was so generous to offer me various samples to introduce their sweets. (I initially went to try for their famous baklava). I learned different items and was very happy to bring home. Their homemade baklava is the BEST. And the beautiful sweet made with rose were LOVELY. I appreciate their authenticity, and am glad that I found the store. Oh, they also have a great selections of seafoods that I can not find easily in our area. (Wegman’s carries some but not no many options). Will definitely go back with my friends to try many other items! huge thanks to the owner, and the lady at the counter for to their warm welcome & excellent hospitality . :)

Best honey cake ever! Very delicious prepared food, large selections, but best of all their cakes are super delicate. Every time I get sweets from this place my family eat it to the last crumb. I am very happy I have discovered this shop. Thank you Team for your hard work!

OMG, this place is a true heaven on the East Coast! Everything we tasted was super delicious, specially their shorqogal (flaky bread layers with savory stuffing), green pie qutab, and Napaleon cake! Visit this place and support the business if you are in the area. Oh, and the service was super friendly too!

Phenomenal. Highly recommend. The owners were warm, charismatic, gracious, and giving upon my first visit. The front is set up both as a market and as a family-style dining area / cafe. They have a kitchen in the back with a professional chef preparing home-made / home-style cuisine from multiple different countries.

I sampled multiple drinks and dishes, and the portions, the taste, and the satisfaction were on point, they were right on.

I also enjoyed speaking with them and having a home-style meal with my friend!

An hidden gem in the area. Pastries are Turkish food , tastes like really homemade (you can see them making them in store !). I also bought pomegranate wine originally from Azerbaijan. It is a yummy wine , tastes very similar to ones from western Turkey!

This is my go to place when I want to have Turkish coffee and a light/delicious breakfast. I know it looks just like any other Azerbaijani grocery store but it is more than that. The a la carte menu is amazing. My favorites are the baked goods and salads. Breakfast plates are big so these are made for two; it comes with bagel, eggs, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers, olives, honey, and butter. So healthy and satisfying.!!!

Amazing place. It was worth of 4 hours driving. Great authentic breakfast and tea. Gunduz was so kind and offered us free tea and chocolate. He also made special “3 baji” (eggplant, pepper, tomatoes) dolma, a to go order for us. So you can actually call and make orders and they will make for you. Just make sure to let them know beforehand. We are definitely coming back and can’t wait to see their new restaurant that they plan to open.

It's an excellent little grocery store & a mini restaurant which has a fantastic selection of authentic Azerbaijani, Georgian, Turkish, Moldovan and Russian food, including some very hard to find items. For example, they have Georgian Suluguni cheese, Turkish coffee and sweets, a phenomenal assortment of baklava, Russian candy and chocolate, and Moldovan and Georgian wines, such as Saperavi, in gorgeous hadnmade bottles. They have a Georgian chef who cooks the food that they serve. There isn't much space there but it still has a seating area for about a dozen people, and it's very cosy there.

Absolutely delightful. If this is your first experience with Azerbaijan's cuisine, the owner will kindly guide you through their offerings. Everything handmade, authentic, and (as I said) absolutely delightful.

Tried their lamb samsa today - absolutely heavenly! I ate every single little crumb of flaky dough and the filling was plentiful and juicy!
This place is awesome! They have a little international grocery store and a bakery with daily specials.

Delicious baked goods (especially blini with cottage cheese) and pastries, very good customer service, and all the favorite candies from my childhood. Namig was super helpful.

Turkish coffee - top notch! And I loved the liver pate - exactly the way we’d do it at home! Baklava also great!
