The whole team at Hertz Car Sales Richmond is amazing! This was my first-ever car buying experience and it was night and day compared to walking into a traditional dealership. I came several times over the course of a couple weeks and looked at several different cars. I never once felt pressured to make a purchase. Instead I was met with open willingness to make sure all my questions/concerns were addressed. I love that I didn't have to worry about them throwing on a bunch of hidden fees or needing to negotiate the price. I felt like I could talk with them openly and honestly and not worry that every detail I shared would somehow be used to manipulate me. I was VERY interested in one particular car that I was waiting on to get back on the lot. The team was quick to give me a call once it was back. I hightailed it right over to their office to wait it out since it is first come first serve and there were many other interested parties. I had a lot to do at work that day but I was committed to getting the car! They were kind enough to let me set up on an empty desk and work while I waited for it to be ready to test drive. Once I decided I wanted to purchase the car they actually were able to take care of things pretty quickly, even saving me a trip to the DMV. They were nothing but kind, understanding, and accommodating every step of the way. I left feeling very confident in my purchase. It's a small team and the location is VERY busy, so I'd say just give them a little grace and patience. In my opinion they are truly doing everything they can to assist you as quickly as possible. I will be telling everyone I know about this place and will definitely come back here for any car I need in the future.

I have had some bad experiences in car dealerships, really bad, but Tony and his crew took care of me and my wife. When I needed something they had no problem letting me know, when I needed to cancel my Gap insurance after I paid under, it was done without any issues. 5 stars because I had zero issues when it came to buying my car.

Derek Teachey was fantastic! He was super responsive and great at updating me and keeping me informed as they transferred our Tahoe to our location. He was friendly and personable and seemed knowledgeable throughout the process. He was not at all pushy to purchase. The rest of their team is helpful and super easy to work with. The vehicle was exactly what we were looking for and in like new condition. We are pleased with our purchase and will return in the future when needed.

Purchased vehicle recently and found the staff to be truthful and helpful. Salesman Charly was great to deal with, when he was out spoke with Manager Al and salesperson Maria. Couldn't have been more friendly or willing to assist. The company needs to better coordinate the rent2buy and sales departments. But the local staff did all they could to assist. History, found a car on the lot but wanted to do more research before purchasing, several says later called the salesman, and the car was still there he advised all sales were first come first serve. As luck would have it I schedule an appointment that evening when I got off work, you guessed someone else bought the car. So he helped me pick a similar car from the r2b, as we waited for the car to be ready he continued to research and called me to "suggest" I choose a different car as more information had become available to him. This actually happened twice. One additional car actually arrived at their site and he called and said he could not sell me the car. so we looked one more time, this time the car came in and was near perfect (remember it was a used vehicle). This is the car I closed on. Great people, and IF you have time and patience the r2b program can work, it will likely not be for you if you are in a rush.

My old car recently died completely and needed to be replaced. I had already been approved for financing through Chase,and Hertz was one of the dealers they use. Hertz made the whole car buying experience very pleasant and easy. And your website made picking out the car I wanted easy to do before I even set foot on the lot. I test drove the two I had my eye on and made my selection. the whole process ,from the minute I got there until I drove off in my new car was 3 hours. I am one happy customer.

Wonderful people to work with! Friendly, competent and fair minded. Their prices are great and their cars are well cared for. If there is an issue with the car in the week after the sale, they will cheerfully take care of it. I highly recommend these folks.

I have purchased three cars from Hertz in the last 6 years in Richmond VA. The staff are excellent (sales and finance) and the cars are dependable and priced right. If you need a good car at a fair price do not waste your time at Carmax or another dealership. Derek and Nadiya will take care of you and you will get a dependable quality pre-owned car. My husband and I had such a wonderful experience here. Shopping for a car is typically not an experience I enjoy. However, Charly was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, kind, and not at all pushy. Our paperwork experience was also smooth without pressure to buy extras. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We plan to come back for our next car!

Even though we didn't have an appointment the Hertz representatives were very attentive to us. They made the car buying process very easy and effortless. Definitely would recommend going there if you're looking for a newer model vehicle for less money.

My first point of contact was with J.J. and he got our financing application processed quickly. He was unavailable the day we went in to finalize our purchase, however Caitlyn took care of my husband and I and was phenomenal. She was transparent with us the whole time and never pushy. Caitlyn obviously knew what she was talking about and we could not have been happier with the process here. Would definitely recommend this Hertz to anyone looking for an affordable, but still nice car to get you around.

Was looking for a late model Avalon. Caitlyn at Richmond location was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dealers all wanted way too much for used Avalons. Picked up a 2017 Avalon from Hertz for $5000 less than dealer.

the only con is higher mileage however, the prices are AMAZING.... definitely shop here its worth it (they cant lower prices tho) unless u want a brand new car with zero miles etc....give them a call. From a repeat customer
