Stella's Grocery - Scott's Addition

I loved this grocery store, it has pretty much anything you need. I wish I had seen it sooner during our trip to Richmond. They have a sandwich and hot bar, freshly made sandwiches and wraps, pastas, desserts, and the wine and beer selection is great. I will definitely try to come back next time we're in the area.

Was in the neighborhood leaving Plant House across the street and was curious what this small grocery store had. Well, to me and my boyfriend’s surprise they had hot food and some really good options might I add. We got 2 sandwiches, fries, and cake. Everything was fantastic and not a long wait either. This will definitely be a new spot for us! So good and we will most definitely have to try their restaurant

Cool little grocery store and sandwich shop! Nice variety right next to a brewery. They have ready made meals and a good variety of to go options. A little pricey but have good quality products.

So many great options here! Cold and hot food. You can order ahead as well and pick it up. Outdoor seating when it’s good weather!
I’m a huge fan of pretty much everything here. Super easy grab and go food for lunch and dinner! Some of those dinners can be enough for the family!

They have a nice porch with outdoor seating where you can enjoy your meal and even any alcoholic beverages that you purchased there.

I love all Stella's and this is no different. Excellent market, wine and beer shop, coffee bar with a nice selection of prepared foods, desserts and local goods. Great little menu of quick meals to enjoy on the patio or for takeout.

Great place. I do a ride with a group called Bike Monday Bros on Mondays. We stop there to get some treats, and to relax. Very friendly staff.

We’ve lived in Scotts Addition for two years, and Stella’s grocery has been an almost daily routine for us during this time. The staff is friendly, the coffee and pastries are great! They make amazing salads and easy fresh pre-made lunches and dinners! Amazing dessert selection!!! We LOVE this place, do yourself a favor and check it out whether you’re visiting Richmond or live here!

Stella's Grocery is always fantastic! They have a range of prepared foods to take home. I especially love the chicken souvlaki pita with feta, tzatziki, and hummus. I've gotten it before with falafel. Fresh and tasty both ways! I ordered online with ease today.

Currently, they limit customers inside the building to ten at a time and ask that you wait outside for your food. They have heaters on the patio area outside. Inside, floor markers indicate social distancing and direction. They also have plexi glass up between workers and customers. I felt good about their Covid precautions.

I've always been impressed by their range of beverage options, food, and cute gifts-- but this time I noticed their wide selection of bitters for cocktails. I've never seen such a variety in one place!

Although prices can be a little steep, Stella's always delivers on quality! 🙂

I bought the vegan cake for my boyfriend who has a dairy allergy. Hands down the best vegan cake I’ve ever had, it was a little dense compared to non-vegan cakes, but the flavor was on point, and the icing was absolutely delicious! I would for sure try their other vegan products and hope they continue to make more!

Yummy food. Great variety of snacks, desserts and possible take home dinner. I will be frequenting now that I work in the neighborhood!

Just moved to the area and very impressed with this find. I picked up a few essentials and had a great Greek salad ! I couldn’t leave without buying a slice of cake Togo. Will be back!

Best takeout in town. My go-to place when entertaining last minute dinner guests.

Love this grocery in Scott’s Addition! Sometimes parking can be challenging during lunch hours, but that’s Scott’s addition in general. I love the Mediterranean farro shaker cups here! You can also get ready made breakfast biscuits in the morning and one the kitchen opens you can get made to order sandwiches and other selection of items! You can also find some local gift items here!

AMAZING. This is what I wish every grocery store/cafe in the world was, luckily it is 5 minutes from my house! Stellas has all the basics like milk, flour, etc. but even better has a phenomenal deli with the best sandwiches around AND everyone is always incredibly kind, efficient and the customer service is above and beyond. If you’ve even been considering stopping by do yourself a favor. As someone in the service industry I can be a bit particular and maybe even picky but this takes the cake as always being top notch both product and service wise! Oh also ITS ADORABLE!!!!

I wouldn't really call this place a "grocery" - as there are very few groceries. I think Cafe or Market is more accurate. There are a FEW grocery items and wine. The real reason to go there is the prepared food. - salads, meals & desserts (my understanding is from Stella's restaurant) and the sandwich shop. You can eat on site or carry it with you.

I just discovered this place after reading about a special flavor of Nightingale ice cream available only at Stella's. It's my new favorite place - even though I live 20 min away, I've been there 3 times in less than 2 weeks. Every salad and/or meal item I've tried has been delicious. The baklava was good. The giant chocolate chip cookie over at the coffee bar was a bit underwhelming. It's the only item that I've tried there that I was truly disappointed in. Service has been quick & friendly and I definitely recommend this place.

These gourmet groceries are literally the best thing about Richmond. The food options are great to take to home or work, from salads to soups to entrees and more. Check out the beer and wine selection too, and they make awesome dog treats as well. Highly recommended
