Vanguard Moving Express did a fantastic job with our move, and we highly recommend them! We talked to a few different movers and got estimates, but Jennifer was outstanding in her clear explanation of their billing practice and her prompt responses to our questions. The estimate she gave us was lower than the other companies’ and the final bill was very reasonable and well within the estimate. The move itself went very smoothly. The movers were prompt, efficient, careful, knowledgeable and super nice! We will definitely use them again for future moves.

Amazing experience!!!!! Vanguard was so quick to respond, provided an estimate with a quick turnaround, and had really reasonable prices. Jennifer helped me over the phone and her customer service is beyond exceptional. She was very thorough and made sure I had everything for my move. My movers were like a professional basketball team and they knew everything about how the move will be done in the most efficient manner. For over a month, I did my research. I talked to, and provided information to, over a dozen companies, including lists, pictures, and a video walkthrough. Jennifer with Vanguard was patient, responded to all my back and forth email questions and request (I was trying to see if there was a catch was to their lower cost), met the time I needed, offered next day delivery for my long distance move out of state 375 miles away, and quoted a much lower cost than most other companies I talked to in the area. The hourly rate cost made the pricing straight forward and they came in right in the range expected. The guys moved stuff out efficiently, took items to the dumpster, disassembled as necessary, then the next day 375 mi away, they moved items from floor to floor as we settled on where we wanted them, reassembled furniture, and were all around very helpful, patient, and efficient. The only thing that was unexpected is that they arrived an hour early for the delivery the following day, which was no negative at all, and was preferred over them arriving late. I definitely recommend VanGuard Moving, and I can save you the time of researching other companies for your move.

We had a lot of unexpected things happen with our move and the Vanguard company and movers were so understanding and helpful. They moved our stuff with great care and efficiency. Would absolutely recommend them and will be using them again soon.

The movers at VanGuard are superheroes! Within 15 minutes they had all the furniture we needed moved wrapped, lifted, and secured in their truck. And although they could have easily charged us for two-and-a-half hours for the drive to the moving location, we only had to pay for two hours. You won't find more affordable movers in the Northern Virginia area. Jennifer was as nice as could be. When we needed to push back the moving date at the last minute due to inclement weather, she accommodated our new time with utmost graciousness and ease. I HIGHLY recommend this moving company. They worked very fast, also communicative and extremely careful! I was so stressed out about the big move my fiancé and I were making but VanGuard Express Moving made it so easy! Jennifer was very detail oriented with what I should expect and Dennis and his helper were so efficient in making sure everything was met! Jennifer was very communicative and I was actually shocked at how low the quote was compared to other movers I called ($1200 vs $1600-2200). I was so surprised I even asked if she can double check and I sent her photos to confirm. I really appreciated that she was able to accurately estimate the amount of time needed to move everything because she was on the dot. I paid several hundred less than she quoted as well!

As for the movers, Christian and Sherkhan were very friendly and efficient. I gave them a quick walkthrough and prepared to leave and in that small span of time, they already had ten boxes in the truck. They were always asking me where things were going and double checked that it was placed correctly. I wasn’t very organized myself so I appreciated that. One box did leave a scratch on my floor due to some gravel stuck on it during transport but it was in an area I was gonna cover with a rug anyway. Christian is really amazing at putting furniture together and he put together a desk in 15min when it would take my father and I at least an hour. Overall I was very impressed with Vanguard. I won’t be moving again but I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Moving can be a daunting experience, especially for a long-distance move. I did my due diligence to call all the local moving companies. After multiple and endless quotes, I chose VanGuard. They were the best choice from the start. VanGuard was the most professional moving company I have used. Working in tech, they had the best CRM which says a lot about a business. The quote was exact and affordable. Bauer kept in constant communication. Pickup was easy and they were meticulous in wrapping all my furniture. After the move was complete in record time to Miami, he called me at night to make sure that everything went smoothly with the delivery. That's customer service. There's no doubt that I will refer them to all my friends' and family's moves, whether local or long distance. If you are looking for movers, I highly recommend them.

It was an excellent experience with VanGaurd. From the very beginning Jennifer was very helpful and explained everything in detail. I had some special requests which were honored. Since it was the first time I was using any moving company, I had many questions. Jennifer answered all my queries patiently. I got email reminders before my move date and the driver Chris also called and confirmed the move date and time. On the move date Chris and the other helper arrived on time. Chris explained the paperwork. They were very fast and efficient and loaded the truck quickly. I have never seen anyone work so fast. Even though they were working on hourly basis, they didn’t try to delay anything to make more money. They also unloaded the truck efficiently. All my furniture was in good shape. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with VanGuard. I’ll recommend this company to everyone.
