Family Dental of Fairfax City

1/6/2024 I have been a patient of Family Dental of Fairfax City for several years now and can report that Dr. Dary and her assistant Melorie have provided me the best dental care ever. They are extremely thorough - efficient - caring - knowledgeable - and helpful. I could not be happier with my dental care at FDFF. I plan to remain a patient for the foreseeable future.

Had a bit of work done here and still have more to go. Dr. Dary does excellent work and is by far the most considerate and meticulous dentist I’ve ever had. She is very thorough in making sure that you understand the procedures and any options you may have. The entire staff is extremely personable, courteous, professional and very friendly. Scheduling is super easy and communication is excellent. I actually look forward to going here. Recently, when changing insurance, I made sure that these guys were on the plan before I choose one. Dr Dary and staff are simply the best! Love these guys.

Dr. Dary is an amazing dentist!!! I got some fillings done. She is very kind and has super gentle hands, especially when giving me the anesthesia. I was soo surprised that I felt no pain when she administered anesthesia because I usually feel pain during this step based on past dentists. Dr. Dary also explained the process to me so I know what's to come. She gave me so much hope! I am very glad that I got the opportunity to meet her and I HIGHLY recommend her services! I've finally found a dentist I trust and like. Dr. Dary is very approachable and attentive, and she puts you at ease right away. I needed a lot of work done, and she did a great job explaining everything and making me as comfortable as possible. Her staff is also super friendly. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best dentist in town. We are very particular about the hands that do the cleaning/other dental work on our teeth and she is great with that. Scheduling is fairly easy and the office is expedient about communication, working well with insurance etc. so far. We never feel pressurized to do anything unnecessary or extra, just the necessary ones to keep things healthy. Dr. Dary and staff are all very friendly and the office is clean and technologically well equipped. I personally love that Dr. Dary herself communicates via phone texts for questions regarding an ongoing long term procedure or related care etc. Highly recommended!

I have had a great experience with Dr. Dary since I started seeing her a year and a half ago. She is very knowledgeable and seems to care for her patients. She always goes the extra mile to make sure that my dental work is perfect and has helped me to make the right decisions - specially financially, since I've always felt that Doctors always care about their bottom line these days. I've visited her once on this new location and her staff seems to be great as well!

Everyone that works here is incredibly understanding and patient! My appointment turned out better than I thought, and I am very grateful! I had no pain and did not feel anything while Dr. Dary was cleaning my teeth because her hands are very gentle. All of the staffs were very welcoming!
I am now going to bring my kids here for cleaning :)

This place is amazing! After changing my dentist twice (not going to trash them here) I think I found the one that is perfect! Dr. Dary and her whole staff are just great. They are professional, efficient, detail oriented and it seams like they truly care as they were able to respond to every concern I have had and gave me a great recommendations! Team members Roxana, Amanda and Jean were very nice and made the visit even more pleasant! Thank you guys!!

Dr. Dary is the best dentist I have ever had, and I am retired now, so that’s a lot of time. She does the most thorough cleaning, including cleaning up my partials. A year ago, she made a perfectly fitting lower partial, something that had never worked very well for me for years. She does NOT push for unnecessary and costly procedures. She does not rush you through. One thing I especially like is the way she interacts with her staff. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat their employees. I recommend her without reservation.

First time coming to this practice and I absolutely loved it. The front desk was so friendly and welcoming with her warm smile. Dr. Dary was very sweet and patient. She took her time examining my teeth for a cleaning, very knowledgably answering my questions and concerns and I came out loving the results. I will be returning to this facility and I would definitely recommended to anyone who is in need of dental work.

Great, personable and professional service all around. Dr. Dary took the time to carefully explain a treatment plan according to my needs and already incorporating my insurance information. I left my first visit confident I am in good hands and in a doctor genuinely interested in my well-being.

Today my wife and I visited Dr. Dary in her clinic at Family Dental of Fairfax City and we were astonished with the hospitality that we received. I recently switched insurance and had my first appointment at this practice. Dr. Dary did thorough cleaning herself, and didn't push procedures that aren't absolutely needed. The billing lady explained everything clearly, including the costs of planned future work-- will provide an update after that work is done.

I would recommend Dr. Patricia Dary to everyone who wants a great dentist who is gentle and careful and takes great care with your teeth. She is also an extremely pleasant, nice person to be around. She is the only dentist I have ever had who after cleaning has gone back and double checked looking to see if any tartar is left. Usually they use the pick or if you like it, the super sonic thing which I don't like, then clean/polish, and that's it. Dr. Dary actually looks after polishing and if she sees a tiny spot she missed with the pick goes back and scrapes it off. I try to go to her every 3 months because it is great protection for your teeth to go more than the usual 6 months which remember, is the frequency that INSURANCE companies pay for, not what is best for your teeth as you get older. It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Dary. I went to her when she was with another practice and followed her when she opened up a practice on her own. She is now farther away but she is so worth it. I would drive farther than Fairfax to see her. I am a huge baby about dental appointments having had bad experiences several times with other dentists. Dr. Dary is mindful of that and patient. I think every person who went to her would be happy they did! Dr. Dary is my favorite dentist of my whole life!

I love this practice and have been going for a lot of years. Everyone is always so cheerful and helpful. DDS tells me exactly what’s going to happen, checks with me throughout procedure to be sure I’m comfortable, and calls my the next day to see how I’m doing. I have never waited more than a few minutes to get in the chair. They handle my insurance claims, which I totally appreciate. I highly recommend them.

I think I found a dentist for my family in Virginia! Recently moved here. I didn't get to see a dentist for 2 years due to different reasons. I started having toothache but I was in between jobs waiting for my next insurance to kick in. I called different dentists and they refused to take me in unless I do comprehensive exam with them even though I told them about my insurance situation. I talked to Dr Dary - she was very attentive and accommodating. When I went in, she was very transparent and told me I need to get a filling for one tooth but for other ones, I can wait till my next insurance starts. The procedure was VERY smooth - no pain at all. After my visit, pain went away. Thank you Dr Dary! and I will see you next Month

I have been going to Dr. Dary since 2017. I really liked the images she showed of my teeth and how she went over the details. My previous dentist didn’t have the feature so I found it really interesting to see the image. Dr. Dary took her time to clean my teeth and I did not feel rushed. Following my appointment, I recommended her to my husband and parents - now everyone, including my cousins, go to Dr. Dary! I followed her from Reston to Fairfax - really like the new office. It is clean and well-decorated. Her staff are very friendly and there is always parking available. To top it all off, she is open one Saturday a month and that is great for me as I can schedule appointments without taking time off from work.

Great & Friendly staff! They were able to squeeze me in last minute as it turns out I required an extraction. I am 6 months pregnant & Dr. Dary was great about communicating with by OB. She also followed up with me to see how I was post-op.

I have been going to Dr. Dary for about a year now and my review is long overdue. Dr. Dary has helped me get over the fear of dentist and doctors in general. She makes you feel totally at ease and communicates with you throughout the whole procedure to make sure you are comfortable and not experiencing much pain. To add to this the appointment reminders by text really help forgetful folks like myself. My wife also uses Dr. Dary and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to our friends and family!
