Fairfax City Police Department

My poor kitty-baby was distressed and hiding in an unsafe location of my studio that I was moving out of, I called animal control and two officers were dispatched to the townhouse. They were very kind and offered suggestions and gave us information about our options for safely getting her out and into her new home. They gave us a ventilated cardboard box to transport her in and said we could contact them again if we weren’t successful in the next day or two. Luckily I was able to lure her out of her hiding spot behind the AC unit with treats and she eventually jumped right into the box to get more treats and off we were.

My daughter lost her ID and got a call hours later that they had her ID. When all hope was lost thinking it was gone forever, this police station reached out to me to let me know they had it. Not sure who found it, regardless, good to know there are still good samaritans out there!

Was happy to pay the fine, and get my pup back. Ones worst fear when traveling is for your dog to get spooked and run off.

These guys do a great job even before you consider some of the conditions they encounter and are stuck working under. We should each take a minute, every day, find a cop, and thank him or her.

Prompt and courteous response, even on weekends when police dispatch answers. Excellent use of tax $.

INCONSIDERATE!

So u can go 60-70 mph and hit their car because u thought they was a person that was in a high speed chase. Had a gun at her and her kids she just had. Put them all in the back of a police car. Found out she was innocent and didnt want to give them your name or badge number. Unprofessional to the max
