Dr. Rubin was outstanding. Did I like what he had to say...heck no. Our beloved family dog is short on time. The way he said it and his empathy is unsurpassed. I have 2 daughters away at college who are devastated..15 1/2 good years so far with our treasured Westie named Snoopy. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice. Thanks again Dr. Rubin for your compassion and professionalism.

My family take 2 of there dogs twice a week. The dogs love going each week and sometimes we do overnight boarding and they do an excellent job of taking care of them. I take them over twice a week and they come out to the car and get the dogs. Anytime we have had an interaction with the employees it has been very positive

My family has been using Montrose on & off since the mid 1980s. Today we brought our cat in for his final visit - to be euthanized. Montrose is so sensitive & caring & they have really good prices. I can't recommend another vet more highly. Thanks for taking care of Mouse 💞

Let me start by saying that our frequent visits to this vet are not the vet's fault. My dog has just had a rough go this last year and our move to Virginia has not been kind to her.

Dr. Stacy is fantastic. When she calls to talk to us about our dog, I feel like I'm talking to someone who deeply cares about my dog. She is honest and provides educational information. I truly feel like she listens to me and that she values my opinion on my dog. I also feel like she is reasonable in how we've been charged and has tried to save us money where she can.

The staff is also fantastic. They have been great with our very anxious dog and have always been sweet to her. They are friendly and fast. If they have a bad day on the job, you wouldn't ever know it.

We have been incredibly happy with this vet. I trust Dr. Stacy's opinion and she has referred out when it has been beyond her expertise. We are very happy with Montrose Animal Health Center and highly recommend them to others. Two thumbs way up!

Dr Stacy is amazing. I’ve taken my old sweet dog there for awhile and the last two visits have been especially good thanks to Dr Stacy, as she has special affection for elderly pups. She clearly adores the animals and also provides you with balanced and honest advice. There’s no guilt or judgment which oddly enough I’ve found hard to find over years of pet ownership! All of the staff are kind and responsive and love the animals. Next up—my 13 year old cat!

I've been taking my animals to Montrose for over 25 years. The doctors are skilled, caring and professional, but they also explain things, help you make decisions and provide practical advice. And they understand the struggles owners face and are kind and compassionate. I trust them 100% with my pets' health and care.

The vets and their team of technicians are so great. We take both our dogs here and they are always gentle and fair with our pets.

A neighbor recommended Montrose and I'm SO glad I tried them. I had been to another local vet, but the customer service was lacking and the staff didn't even seem to really like pets. The staff at Montrose was very welcoming and friendly and Dr T was great. She took the time to get to know my dog and give her some love before examining her. She was very confident and knowledgable, explained things in detail, and answered all my questions (which is usually a lot). Their prices are fair and Dr. T isn't the type of vet that tries to pad the bill with excessive tests, etc. I cannot stress enough how very pleased I am!!

Love the personalized care they give our puppy! They truly care about her and make sure all(and I mean all) of my questions are answered. My pup truly loves going there and is excited when they come out to greet her!

Met with Dr. Ruben he is the owner and chief Veterinary doctor there. All of his associate doctors are very knowledgeable and very communicative as is the entire staff really. Pricing is probably about middle of the road for the Fairfax area. If you really want a fantastic Veterinary experience go to Montrose I highly recommend them. I have been taking all of my dogs and cats there for 30 years plus. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!!

I took my dog here for a rabies shot. He had to have an exam in order to get the shot. I drove in, called them, they came out and got him (and I filled out paperwork because we were new), took him in and examed him and gave him his shot. The vet called me and told me how he was, etc. They the brought him out, I paid, & we were done.
It was a good experience and they seemed to really care about him and treat him nicely.
I will go back for his next doggie needs.

Cannot say enough great things about the vets & staff at Montrose Animal Health Center. They truly care about your pet's health and well being. They go the extra mile to make time for your pet and always give you all the available options.

Since 2000 Montrose has taken care of our 4 legged family members. They are great, and we know they're well taken care of. Affordable and easy to make appointments. Shrek loves his car rides to the vet!

We are happy with the service and communication with Montrose. We have had some not so great experiences with other vets...we are glad we found Montrose.

I don't have enough words to say how much I appreciate and recommend Montrose Animal Health Center and especially Dr. Texiara. I took my dog there a few months ago and he was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Not a real big deal....some antibiotics, etc.... and all would be good. BUT-He ended up with a very rare disorder called Lymn Nephritis - Fatal!. He was going down hill fast. Dr. Texiara recognized this and did everything her power to help the situation. She mentioned high priced (thousands of dollars) options but was so very reasonable about their long term success. She never made me feel guilty if I didn't chose those options. Supportive, communicative, helpful, always ready to talk on the phone. She even gave me, among the mediations that she put him on, several that were donated, saving me a bundle. Long story short, my pup has made an incredible and miraculous recovery. Dr. Texiara even calls occasional, on her own, just to see how he's doing. As I said, the level of support, an understanding of financial realities and just a real sense of caring not only for the pet but also the owner as they go through difficult times is amazing. I RECOMMEND..RECOMMEND...RECOMMEND!!!

Great services with the center. Really like the Doctors!!! Have had 5 pets (Mitzie Cat, Patches, Simon, Mitzie Dog and now Lulu) over the past 20 years well taken care of! Thank you Dr. Rubin and the staff at Montrose.

Have been bringing my pets here for years. The staff is cheerful and gentle with the animals. Very knowledgeable and willing patiently answer any and all questions.
