It was our puppies first vet visit, and she needed a few specific vaccines. The staff was fantastic and helpful, and now our pup is up to date on her vaccines. Would recommend to anyone!

They always go above and beyond. They listen to your concerns and make you feel comfortable with your pet. Even if they are very busy they make time for you and your pet. I can’t recommend them enough and will always keep going to them. Thank you for all you do!

First time having my puppy visit the hospital based on a recommendation from my neighbor. The place was clean with courteous and timely service. Best of all, I got to see all checks and shots performed on him, unlike Banfield. I am very happy with the services at this pet hospital. Highly recommended.

We flat out love these people. Great attitude, charming, smart, so pleasant and so competent. Fair. They will compete with pill prices.

We have 4 cats, had two dogs, one now. We had to go through that process with the old dog, so I add compliments for how they handle that unhappy reality.

Bring all your old paperwork so they can enter it into their system. They keep great records and update with text reminders for appointments and shots.

They don't make us come in for unnecessary things.

When we were looking for a vet, we were immediately impressed with the transparency of the pricing of almost every service on Pet Lover’s website; and although our dog hasn’t had the need for it, it was nice to see they offer acupuncture and other holistic types of treatment. Dr. Chun is very efficient in examining and I also appreciate that he made room to see our dog immediately following an accident. Staff was always friendly and we really like Robert, who has been patient and addressed all my questions. This is a great vet. Highly recommend!

The absolute best vet in this area. The technicians and staff are wonderfully calm, understanding, and accommodating and Dr.Chun is the most sensitive and helpful Vet I have ever worked with. He understands the needs of the difficult breed of my dog, is very careful and sensitive to owners concerns, and NEVER charges you unnecessarily or adds things that aren’t needed. I trust his suggestions completely. We have been coming here for 7 years and will never go to another office, this is the only place my nervous pet feels comfortable. They take great care of my pets. They explain things thoroughly and are reasonably priced. They also look at the pets health from a holistic perspective (like recommending certain shots that will be healthier to animal long term).

I'm glad I found this place. I had been shopping around because I knew my dog needed a dental and the quote we had been given from our previous vet was astronomical. I didn't expect much out of this place, but they have been fantastic. All the techs were very caring and patient with my extremely fearful Chihuahua, and the doctor allowed me to hold her and keep her calm while he examined her. They did her dental at the next visit and when the tech brought her out after, she was actually wagging her tail before she even saw me, she liked him. She did have more teeth that needed to be taken out than expected once they got in there, but they showed me said teeth and explained that not only were a couple just compromised/rotten, but most were loose. (She was actually missing several teeth when I first adopted her) so that made sense to me. She'll need to go each year and probably have more extractions because unfortunately she did not win the genetic lottery in that aspect, but I appreciate the care and relative affordability. I'll be bringing my other dog there now as well.

We have been taking our dogs and cats here for about 4 years now. They are always treated well, respectfully and with a caring attitude , and so are we. Dr Chun is a wonderful person and genuinely cares for our family. From the moment a vet tech greets us to when we complete the visit, it is always a positive experience.

I am not certain that the low ratings are real. I've never had better vets. First, they explain everything to me and educate me. Their holistic approach kept my 17yo cat feeling well and comfortable in his last 6 months. Then, when it was time, Dr. Chun made his passing quiet and stress-free. My cat was also more relaxed here than any other vet. Not very relaxed, but a noticeable difference! We recently adopted a dog, and she has been treated for worms, food sensitivity, and a small bite/sore that was getting infected. All was great. I am grateful for them!

I only wish I found this vet sooner. I'm very grateful for the care he has given both my cats. I particularly like that he is both a regular vet and trained in Chinese herbal medicine as well as acupuncture. Both these non-traditional treatments have been very helpful. Dr. Chun and his staff are all very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Dr. Chun has taken outstanding care of our 2 doggies for many years now. His acupuncture treatments enabled our senior doggie, Olivia, to continue going on walks despite osteoarthritis in her back legs. When it was finally time to say goodbye, he gave us his full, caring and highly professional attention.

One thing (among many) that our family appreciates is that Dr. Chun never recommended a test or a treatment 'just because' (as many other animal hospitals would). He preferred a conservative course of action that enabled 16-year-old Olivia to have a good quality of life until the very end, with nothing needlessly invasive.

His assistant, Frank, is ultra-reliable himself, upbeat and friendly. He was terrifically supportive throughout, not just for Olivia but for her humans.

Bottom line: we cannot recommend Pet Lovers enough, for pets at all stages of their life.

Been coming here for years even when we moved further away. The doctors are great and listen to any concerns fully. The supporting staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful!

Dr.Chun is the best vet that we have been with. He is honest and never makes your pet do extra testing or treatments unless he believes it is absolutely necessary which saves the customer a lot of money. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things and make himself available when you call if there are any questions or concern. In addition, every time I called with a concern about my dogs' behaviors or symptoms they somehow manage to fit me in that same day. We have had 7 dogs as his patient over years. His prices are VERY reasonable compared to other vets. I moved farther away and there are many vets near me but I still travel to see Dr.Chun. if he ever retired I don't know what I would do! He is very compassionate and has been with our dogs since they were puppies. Seriously the best vet doctor ever! In addition, his staff is super friendly and it is vivid that everyone who works here are animal lovers. The facility is very clean compared to other vets we have been to. I highly highly highly recommend Dr.Chun to who ever is seeking a doctor for their fur babies.

Dr. Chun is amazing; he's friendly, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. His staff are also friendly and helpful. His prices are very reasonable too. I left my last very because it was getting too expensive even for a regular check-up (they always found something that needed testing). Pet Lovers Animal Hospital is that hidden gem of a small office with a personal feel and great prices.

I love this place. The people know you and your pet. They are always accommodating and friendly. Dr. Chun is the best Vet I have ever had. He is so knowledgeable about your dog and has been a blessing when it came down to putting one of dogs to sleep. I would highly recommend this animal hospital.

Dr Chun and his staff are wonderful. I never have to wait to see the Doctor after I have arrived for my pet's appointment. Everyone is professional, friendly and really care about my pet. Dr. Chun takes his time to make sure that all my questions are answered. I have been using this VET for the past two years, since I moved to the Fairfax area. I am so pleased to have found them and highly recommend them to all pet owners!

I've been taking my dog here since he was a pup, my SIL takes her dog here, and now my sister who moved from out of town is taking her dog here as well. You can tell Dr. Chun cares about the well-being of your furry family member. They are reasonably priced (those who say it isn't, have you ever been to other vets in this area?!) and will accommodate to make sure that your pets receive the care they need.
