Just went to Mamma Browns for the first time and it was great! Generous portions, delicious southern cooking and a friendly staff! I had the catfish, shrimp, fried okra and collards and every part was amazing. Thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Everything is made to order, fresh and hot. I don’t know Mamma Brown, but she darn sure should be proud of this place with her name on it!

Ordered delivery in Powhatan and it was DELICIOUS. the best fried catfish I’ve ever had and it was hot. Delicious food and great service

I have had Mama Brown's delivered several times. The bacon double cheese burger is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection every.single.time! I have to fight off my family for my potato salad and macaroni and cheese...and the peach cobbler....DAMN!!! Their food leaves me slumped in my chair with a smile on my face! Eat at Mama Brown's, you won't regret it.

Catfish, whiting, Mac and cheese is the best. I love this place. Kevin is amazing. Best food in Farmville. Great prices and the food servings are big. Will definitely be eating here alot.

First time Me and my wife at Mama Browns and it was great!!! I got the cat fish meal and Mary Lynn got the chicken liver meal and they were GREAT

The coconut pie is amazing! Really good fried catfish, collards, cornbread, fried chicken, okra, and crab cakes too. Will definitely be back.

I went to mama Browns just this past Friday I had the shrimp and catfish fried okra and Collard greens which was amazing served by a wonderful and friendly staff stop in if you ever get the chance.

Perfect portions of great tasting food make every meal a great value! I had the salmon cakes platter for breakfast, and I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day!
