Thankfully Advance Auto Parts will recycle our riding lawn mower battery. When the battery is purchased, there’s a $10 deposit applied. Upon return of the battery, the $10 is refunded. Yesterday, we turned in the old lawn mower battery and got a new one. Recycling by using a deposit system is a great way to keep reusable and recyclable items out of the landfill!
