My new thing is finding local gyms to check out when I’m traveling with the family and Olympus was that gym. Excellent facility. Big enough, super kind and friendly front desk (can’t remember the two ladies that welcomed me) and all the machines and areas you need to work out. The 5 star element to this gym is they have quite a variety of bars to use as well, which I wasn’t expecting but was extremely welcomed!

Will come back anytime I’m in the area. It was busy so I wasn’t able to grab many photos - didn’t want to take photos of people working out haha.

I recently moved into the Burke area and had to dreadfully find a new gym I enjoyed and had adequate equipment. My wife and I tried all the gyms in the area and were not impressed with the selection. The last place we visited was Olympus and oh boy my wife was critical about it at first but now we are happy to call this our gym.

I don’t know what the situation was from the first time we joined the gym but they recently did renovations and replaced 90% of the machines with brand new ones that are just as effective as the older counterparts. They added a turfed area with a sled, added another cage, new flooring, have plenty of different type of bars but my favorite has to be the color scheme they went with. It really helped the ambiance and makes me want to give it my all when I step in the gym. I could go on and on but they are going in the right direction.

Hands down one of the best gyms in the Burke area without the fluff.

This gym is very clean and I love the aesthetic and atmosphere, the management is super nice and so are the employees. The staff is super helpful and the atmosphere is great with lots of nice people.

One of the best real gyms left in the Fairfax county northern Virginia areas. They don't have all of the new fancy machines and the building is not colorful and bubbly like these new fitness centers but it's a real old school gym. Weights, bars and muscles no filler. Prices are ridiculous low, they have great short term deals for the summer time, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the Manager Mark is the best manager/ person that I've met in any business establishment. Overall Awesome place for people who want to work out with weights and not have to deal with a big crowd.

Been going here for a month now. It’s one of the last old school gyms in the area that is straight up weights and machines and no fluff. You got people deadlifting in there, doin squats, just working out. Everyone in there is serious but friendly and sticks to their business. Everyone racks their weight too!

I’m super happy with this place. Front desk is nice and it’s only $10 a month. For real $10 a month.

No masks required if you’re vaccinated but everyone takes a spray bottle with them and wipes down their equipment.

Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Simple gym without classes/CrossFit/etc., which was exactly what I was looking for. It does get full of teenagers in the afternoon that use it as a hangout spot (ie. sit on benches/machines for 10min and do two sets).

Great place for basic needs to work out. Not a luxuries gym, but they know where they stand and don't try to act like what they aren't. Great pricing and very supportive staff. Been a member for years and still prefer this place over the gold's gym and other places.

Probably the best gym for the money. They have everything I need to workout using weights and a bunch of cardio equipment that I don't use and I don't care for so $10/mo is perfect for me. They only have 1 shower/toilet/stall but I'm not there for the bathroom anyways. Although I could go to a gym that is way closer to where I live, I would rather save money and tough out the drive instead of paying extra for amenities I will NEVER use.

I love this place for the basic fitness it provides. This a fully-stocked, no-frills gym with cardio and resistance equipment to get you in shape. No classes, no trainers, no perky sales reps, grungy locker room--get in, work out, get out. Whenever I visit relatives here I get a two week pass for $20-30 and I'm happy.

If you're looking for a place to get stuff done, this is your gym. If you go to the gym to stand around and fake it, then look elsewhere.

For $10 a month you would expect a few treadmills and weight machines. Olympus provides the best value. They have a great weight area with a good mix of machines and free weight. I don't even know how many gyms offer deadlift for $10/month.

Monday- Friday they are open 24 hours. If you were on the fence before, their hours make this a no brainer.

Great beginner gym and friendly people. Lots of high schoolers and older clientele since the price is extremely affordable. Really nice people working and working out here.

Come here if you want to get in a good workout and not pay Gucci sticker prices for it. You cannot beat the price for membership nor the good atmosphere that the staff provides. Look here before you go to LA Fitness.

It’s not perfect but it’s perfect for us. The people there are devoted and fun and they’ve been our family after moving from Hawaii. Yes we go there to get our cup filled while we work out. All ages. Even 80-95 year olds doing cardio! Trust me, you will feel like home when you’re here...

For the price, you can't beat it. For me, it's close to home, so that's a plus. The equipment is all functional and there's a good selection of machines to work with. The only issue is the appearance of the building, it looks like an old warehouse. It doesn't make a difference to me, as everything works well at good price, but if aesthetic is important to you, then I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Been to a lot of gyms. Would not go anywhere else. Good pricing. Decent number of weight training machines, free weights, and cardio equipment. Friendly people. Feels like home.

I love this gym. It's a no frills sort of place. It's not a social event it's how a gym should be.
