Love this place. After 15 years in India this place has all my favourite Indian foods. Nice people also

I just wanted change my review, now they renovated this place and expanded , all fruits and vegetables are fresh.

Nice places for Indian grocery

This place is amazing! Though Laxmi Palace is comparatively far from where I live. There are other Indian grocery stores in the walking distance but I prefer shopping at Laxmi for various reasons.
- Huge selection of fresh produce.
- Wide selection of grocery items including frozen items.
- Availability of snacks and desi sweets ... and the list goes on.
Last but not the least, very friendly staff and the owner I believe is so warm and welcoming and I have never meet a more friendly person!!

Just the right place for all the Indian grocery list. Owner Mr Kalpeshbhai is really nice and so is all his staff. Always smiling and helpful. Best part is they offer cash discount on the invoice which makes it a great value for money. Definitely must visit.

Friendly staff and great selection of foods, ingredients and vegetables. Can be crowded at times which just goes to show how loved it is with the local Indian community. Even then, checkout is fast.

This was the best $25 I spent in a very long time. And Jacob was the best representative EVER! Extremely excellent customer service. This is my new place to shop. I absolutely love it there. So many great things to buy. And the music sounded like a mixture of binaural beats and nice soothing meditation music. Also smells great.

Wonderful selection of quality goods at very reasonable prices. They have all of your bulk spice cooking needs and the gentlemen who is usually working at the cash register is always extremely polite. The store is very well organized and is extremely clean. I highly recommend going here for all your cooking needs, oh! The fresh veggie selection is extensive and fresh!

This is an awesome place with great prices for amla powder, bulk spices, and chickpea flour. Sometimes the prices aren't clearly labeled, but all the staff is very friendly so it's simple to ask and find out - I'm just too shy. It's perfect otherwise!

Awesome place and great customer service. I have noticed same staff for years. They are very friendly. Owner is very nice and he always acknowledged us every time we go there. They have large variety of Indian food, grocery, spices, sweets and most importantly fresh vegetables.

My go-to Indian grocery store. All vegetarian, so it makes me very comfortable. The employees give great service too. It's open and airy and has recently upgraded with even more space. I have no complaints. They carry everything I need.

Great veg oriented Indian grocery store. Friendly and helpful. Stock all sorts of spices, dals, curry leaves, basmati rice, etc at good prices. I like to make masala dosa and they have the right ingredients. Try it! Still a great way to buy more beans and veges.

I was looking all around Richmond in ethnic grocery stores for a specific Indian food item, I was about to give up, when I saw that there was an actual Indian grocery store in the area! They had exactly what I needed, and the staff was very communicative and helpful when necessary. It's not a large supermarket, but definitely has what you need in terms of naan and spices. Wish I had known it was in the area sooner!
