The Corner Diner

The owner was our waiter and was a super nice guy. Great food, kind people, and a family friendly clean atmosphere. My girlfriend is a very picky eater and loved everything, we will be back!! PSA: if you’re looking for “The Fat Bear Tavern” this is it, they just changed names!

As an out of towner, I would say this is a quiet little place tucked just of the main strip that just makes it a must stop. The food was amazing, perfectly cooked, and very well seasoned. They have thing for the kids to do at the table to keep the busy while your food is being prepared. Things like magic 8 ball, Mr. Potato head and other classic toys. Service was, hands down, amazing, very caring, and wanted to make all customers feel welcomed. The owner was there, working right along with her employees. This was great to see. I highly recommend stopping in while you're in the area.

Unique and delicious dishes. We had the BELT, children’s pancakes, and “pick 4”.

Cons:
My BELT was ordered with no lettuce. It arrived with lettuce and no Mayo.

Great place! Food was amazing! You can taste the love in the food. This isn’t your regular diner. Everything tastes homemade and made with love. I had the cinnamon French toast and it was amazing, then the cook brought out a small serving of biscuits and gravy which tasted amazing and like my mother in law’s. They also had things for my three daughters to do while we waited. I recommend this place to everyone! Can’t wait to go back!

Staff was super friendly, and their menu was very creative. Chili was delicious with the french fries seasoned just right. Their BFD Burger hit the spot with the beef patties, making it killer sandwich. The only thing that was just so-so was the meatloaf.

Overall, it was an excellent dining experience 👌

We are locals here in town. Hubby and I finally got chance to eat here. Wonderful service fast and friendly. You do get enough to take home to.i recommend coming here. We will for shure. Husband got bfd breakfast for dinner egg on hamburger and bun with bacon fries. I had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and yummy greenbeans tasted like my grandpa use make and side home fries we both had tea.

We are always trying to find new places to eat. Was pleasantly surprised by The Corner Diner.
Ordered the Forge Your Own (pancake w/pecan, scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns & bacon. Best pancake the wife ever eaten. Hash browns were perfectly cooked and crispy just like we like them which is rare because usually they are under cooked anywhere else even though you ask for crispy. Also ordered the Daddi-o omelette and hash browns. Had homemade white gravy on top which was a fisrt for me and was damn good.
Great atmosphere, old movies and shows on the different TV’s. Great waitstaff; Dawn was excellent.
Definitely will be back again.

We enjoyed a nice dinner at The Corner Diner. The staff was friendly and even though they were a little backed up in the kitchen, they let us know and it wasn't a long wait for our food. Quality was good and at a fair price too. Thank you, Sarah for being so gracious.

Called ahead for our large group. The lady greeted us at the door, and everyone was so friendly. The waiter was fast and knowledgeable. When one of our kids was crying a bunch, someone came out with a toy duck for him. The people were so nice, and you can tell that they loved working there. It's definitely a good place to go with the family.

It’s clearly new. Pretty stereotypical 50’s theming. Food was good though, prompt with responsive service. Seems like it’s new enough it’s not swamped.

We came back the next day. Consistent especially for kids. Accommodated request for tiny bowl of blueberries for the toddler.

Loved this place absolutely amazing! Get the banana pudding pancakes. Trust me, they aren't sweet like banana pudding, so it's perfect for breakfast! The BEST home fries I have ever had! The cutest little restaurant! My son desperately wanted a happy face pancake from IHOP. I did not want to go to the server gave us a happy face plate!

Wanted to get away from the big name breakfast spots and found this one. We had a party of 9 and got seated right away. The place had a 50’s diner look. The food was amazing. I ordered the Big Daddy and the fresh made biscuits were huge. The were soft and buttery and went well with the gravy. I recommend the spicy gravy if you like a kick. Everyone ordered something different and they weren’t disappointed with what they got. I would recommend this place over any of the big named breakfast spots on the main drag.

I loved this place! Highly recommend! The banana pudding pancakes are amazing! And the service was excellent! He was nice and very helpful with everything! Hope to be back soon!

Great food and nice service. We had the Chicken pot pie (it comes on a biscuit! ) and a veggies burrito. They were very accommodating. When we come back to the area, this would be a go to.

5+ stars easily. In a town that’s predominantly filled with tourist traps, The Corner Diner is the opposite. A small, rad, family owned local diner with a great atmosphere, incredible quality food, and even better service. For context, my wife and I love to seek out diners when out of town, and generally avoid touristy restaurants. This one exceeded expectations, as we ate there 5 times in 5 days, trying something different each time. My oldest loved the Big Daddy with the spicy gravy, and also loved the Hot Cheeto grilled cheese. The steamed deli sandwich was killer, the smashburger, the Daddy-O omelet with spicy gravy, the French toast, and the dork..all killer. My youngest loved the classic grilled cheese, and the pancakes. My favorite was the Bees Knees(chicken and waffles) with the spicy honey garlic. Also enjoyed the cinnamon rolls. As far as the aesthetic: I very much enjoyed the retro aesthetic with the Godzilla/King Kong twist. Can’t wait to visit again next year at Christmas time! Support local!

First time coming here and loved it. Atmosphere is cute and welcoming. Sarah was a our server and she did an outstanding job. She's was super sweet and very hardworking. Food was too notch also. Menu has tons of great options and a "Forge your own" for those feeling picky. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely adorable little place! Really enjoyed the smashburger! I'm not personally the biggest fan of crinkle fries bur they have other sides to choose from. Waitress was so so sweet.

We stopped by at Corner Diner for brunch/lunch and was greeted by friendly server.
The inside of the restaurant is so fun and retro. I love all the colors combo and the old movie they played on their tv.
We ordered the veggies omelette, razzle my berries pancake (3 stacks of pancakes), Big Daddy biscuit and gravy, and pancake ankle biter, and grilled cheese.
We also ordered their fresh squeeze orange juice (you must order this delicious juice) and iced coffee late. Everything was so good, fresh, and generous portion.
Definitely a good place to hit before we visit our Dollywood water park visit.
