One of the best neighborhood restaurants with Gourmet food. Best desserts! I don’t normally like sweets, but I couldn’t have enough of their Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and Carrot Cake. My husband ordered the Fried Chicken Cobb Salad and he said it was very good. I had the Short Rib Po ‘Boy. It was delicious. We were disappointed with the roast Brussels sprouts, it wasn’t cooked well.

Went for dinner and we sat outside. It was cold out but we were very comfortable with the gas heaters working well. Ordered the mushroom toast and it was great. We ordered the meatloaf dinner and the New York strip. The strip was ordered med well and was a little chewy. The waiter came to the rescue and replaced the steak and it was perfect. No complaints on the meatloaf dinner. Home cooking!

Absolutely incredible!! We just had carry out tonight. My husband was a sous chef at Ruth’s Chris when I met him 15 years ago. He agrees with me that the smash burger is top quality, with the perfect amount of condiments, mushrooms…and extra beef! Also, their homemade carrot cake is the BEST we have ever had in our lives! See pics; that’s one slice of cake…HUGE! Highly recommend this restaurant!!

This place may have the best chicken sandwich in Richmond. The fries were thin cut, which gave them the perfect balance, crisp on the outside and perfection inside. The rest of the menu sounded amazing too. Looking forward to those brussel sprouts someday.

A nice little gem snuggled right in the Lakeside area. It's not overly large pretty quaint. They did have an outside area that was loosely covered with some outdoor heaters to give them a little extra space. Insides not very big, Maybe 10 tables are so. Pretty unique menu very seasonal items. I got a butternut squash and beet salad with some scallops on a bed of spring greens. My buddy got the flank steak. Both of us very much enjoyed our meal. The staff was very attentive and helpful especially when my bud asked to get the steak or the pork chop dinner. The food actually came pretty quick. They had the number of entrees with prices ranging from $17 to $30. There were a few small birthday groups they came in after us. We got there around 6 p.m. they suggested that reservations is a good idea. About 6:30 the place filled up pretty quickly. Definitely would recommend them. I also think this would be a good first date or cozy couple night out.

Had brunch here with some girl friends- Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and had the fried green tomato Benedict that was also absolutely delicious. Our server seemed kind of annoyed most of our visit, but was attentive- and the lemon ricotta fritters were light and airy but lacking in flavor. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Have eaten here twice now and will be back soon. It's a nice and cozy spot for a late lunch during the workweek. The scallops were absolutely nailed. The pimento cheese hushpuppies really surprised me - I thought it was going to be more of a "cheese oozing out" situation, but they manage to keep perfect hushpuppy texture while packing it with cheese flavor at the same time. We're always looking for places with one or two exciting vegetarian dishes, and this place has awesome variety with something for everyone.

Dinner food was fast to arrive and all delicious! Comfortable and nice lighting. Service was perfect as well. Only complaint--please put some shades or similar on the windows--the bright as the sun vape store across street ruins the atmosphere!

Always great food and fantastic service. We have some food allergies, and the staff is positive and knowledgeable about their ingredients. In the Picture you'll see a crabcake sandwich, fried green tomatoes with shrimp, and an Aperol Spritz!

SUPER cute spot with tons of outdoor seating, cozy indoor space, great service, and delicious food. Parking lot attached with plenty of parking spaces available. Highly recommend the smoked trout dip appetizer.

Great seasonal menu, everyone in our party was pleased with their dish. All 4 who ordered the Salmon & Brussels Sprout Entree had to order a side afterwards as it was a much lighter dish. Sides were affordably priced. The biscuits were amazing, all parties at the table agreed the home fries were nothing to write home about. The food was all beautifully presented, and the mimosas were all delicious.

This was my third time going and it is still a hit. It is a quaint hidden jewel with good tasty food and drinks. Nice outside seating

Meal here was excellent. Everything pictured (rockfish BLT, mushroom soup, fried oysters) I would highly recommend to anyone eating here at this time of year. Not pictured are the pimento cheese hushpuppies, which had good flavor but a decidedly un-hushpuppylike texture inside.

From party taste tests, I can also say that the braised short ribs are very tender, and that the pappardelle pasta is (in my opinion) not as good as other items on the menu that we ordered.

Our waitress was very helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations. I will say that the inside of the restaurant is fairly small, though, and for some reason feels a bit like a library in the sense that no one wants to talk too loud.

We highly recommend trying Hobnob. The staff is friendly, and the food is FANTASTIC! Atmosphere is warm and cozy. You'll need to have a reservation because they have limited seating. Menu changes seasonally, which is awesome because I love trying new things. FYI if they have the fried oyster app, you need to get it.

Great tasting food. The outdoor patio is an excellent environment on a nice weather day. The service was good and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I will definitely visit again.

I know the chef and his food is immaculate. Everyone at the table was in bliss with even just his bread! He came out with a new menu that debuted tonight and supporting this business was well worth it!!! Great service, great place to get together.

Very nice spot. Food is great. Staff is sharp and engaging. Set nice set up. A true gem. This place will not disappoint. Food well priced. Am must for breakfast or brunch.

Dinner was great. Atmosphere a little noisy and the restaurant was a little crowded in terms of set up. The seating for 2 is pretty much all in the center, so much of an environment for privacy. The service and food made up for the crowded feeling.

The only thing wrong with this place is the popularity it’s gaining!
I don’t want to wait for my table!

Great find. Service, food and ambiance were all lovely. Fair price points. Good crowd. Acoustics were good as well. Coming back next week with family!
