A really lovely, flat, paved trail through forest and wetlands. Parking was easy, we spent about an hour doing one loop and about half of the other.

This was overall a great hike. It was a nice nature break during our vacation. It had beautiful fall foliage and the paths were clearly marked. Lots of picture opportunities - in fact, I remember the city park's website promoting some photo contest for their trails. We only expected to be among the woods until we found the asphalt trail that borders a vast field. We took that path and took more pictures. We saw hawks circling the field but none took a land dive. I was happy to see it all and then return to the woods for more cold air. It was really enjoyable and I would recommend the trek. We were out there at least 2 hours. Restrooms were port-a-potties.

Beautiful little trail around a wetland area. Mostly gravel trails with some little bridges—flat. Saw a bunch of Great Egrets (video). I went for a run in the morning in the middle of July and the only downside were some insects.

It's a great trail. The parking lot is at the end of Eagle Way, just down from Jamestown HS. I am at the HS a lot and use the trail to get to the Capital Trail to ride while my kid's at practice.

Took a little walk down the trail today. Lots of little plaques along the way that you can read to get a sense of the history of the place. Mostly gravel trails, but we're wide enough for people to easily pass each other. What's the dead of winter but I can imagine that the area would be nice and Lush and green during spring and summer. There was a little Pond that I walk down to and saw a really large Blue Heron and got to see him fly off, which was very cool. They do have one little picnic table and a porta potty and looks like enough parking areas for maybe 30 cars or so. You need a good place to take a walk or jog I think this would do well for you. Was very clean and tidy well kept.

This trail ia super beautiful and well maintained. There are nature and historical plaques for your education and it is well marked with directions. It is nice because bikes aren't allowed on it, so great for a stroller walk or a day out with your dog. Be sure to bring bug spray tho...ticks and mosquitoes are plentiful.

I have been enjoying this trail for years. The environment seems to change and there is hardly a shortage of wildlife. There is a cool pedestrian bridge that overlooks the surrounding wetlands where you can bird watch or observe the turtles laze on the logs. A great place to run, walk, both, but please do not ride bikes. This trail is strictly for running and/or walking.

Visited for an endurance event. Thoroughly enjoyed the trail. Great place to walk or run on a hot day! Completely shaded, flat, nice surface. Beautiful views of local marshes.

The Greensprings trail system is one of the Williamsburg area's greatest gems. It's very convenient but surrounded by nature and makes you feel like it much further away from civilization. It's the perfect place for a walk with a four-legged friend, a run or even a nice leisurely stroll alone.

Great trail to run on but super sucky if you vape on it or smoke. Like bro I'm running trying not to die I don't need your smoke to tarnish my lungs

Duke seemed to enjoy it. I liked the views, especially the segment where wetlands were encroaching into forest - or vice versa - an eternal battle between ecosystems at your local walking trail.

Great place to get away for relaxation and stress relief. This is a walking trail only no bicycles. You can bring pets, lots of pet stations to make use of. A nice easy walk about 3 1/2 miles round trip or shorter if you take different ways. Wildlife in abundance. Tons of birds, squirrels, turtles And deer.
