Greensprings Vacation Resort

My boyfriend and I just spent a week at Green springs Williamsburg. It was such a wonderful experience. The resort was near Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, restaurants and other areas. The resort was clean inside and out. The front desk was very helpful. Anything we needed they were on top of. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi was sooo relaxing and welcoming. Our room unit was more than we expected. The units had everything we needed. From utensils to dish liquid. There was even a washer and dryer in unit which saved us a lot of time from after vaca laundry at home. There was a nice activity center where you could rent DVDs, go to the gym or indoor pool. There were also daily activities listed to do. I also want to mention that Tammy was awesome. Not only was she attentive She was so nice and had a lot of great suggestions for things to do around the area. We would come back just for her !

Just a side note be careful booking through booking. We had a little issue with some hidden fees on their end.

We had a wonderful time. Employees at front desk were very friendly and courteous. Explained everything about the resort, handed out activity schedule,parking passes and map of resort. Buildings pretty secure. Ilike the balcony area, just enough room for a place to enjoy some coffee. There's a fireplace, but for looks only, but still pretty cool. Great kitchen space and dining area. They provided some dish soap, dishwasher tabs, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, garbage bags, some laundry soap for a load, etc... however, if you're staying several days, i suggest picking up small amounts of these things, including some toilet paper. They do need some help with trash pick up, lots of trash at dumpsters that accumulated, but it could have been from the holidays. Grounds looked nice and kept up. Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the pool, very cold out, but next time for sure. The resort is located well off the main drag of Colonial Williamsburg, which is nice. Nice place for families.

My family and I frequent Greensprings on our Busch gardens trips and sometimes it's our favorite part of the trip! The amenities are amazing, spacious rooms and you cannot beat the price! A hidden gem for sure!

Loved staying here at the Greensprings Vacation Resort! The rooms were spacious, clean, and just what we needed. Additionally, the location of the resort is so convenient. We were within a 10-15 minute radius of everything we needed or wanted to do, the only exception being Busch Gardens was a slightly further drive. Their services are also wonderful as they offer mini golf, pickleball, an outdoor and indoor pool, hottub, sauna, other games, etc. If we ever come back to Williamsburg, I hope to stay here again!

Offered a great vacation package and was around 20 minutes to Busch gardens. It’s a couple miles from restaurants and grocery stores. Very spacious. No smart tvs, and living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable. But overall a nice stay

We had such a great time at Greensprings this weekend! I must say, I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews regarding service and cleanliness, however our experience was top notch!

Valerie at the front desk was a ray of sunshine! We checked in later around 7 pm and she was all smiles and friendly as can be. She even asked whose birthday we were celebrating and skipped her way out from the back with a birthday card! She explained everything clearly and told us that we could text the front desk at anytime should we need anything.

We were pushed to the concierge who gave us a welcome packet and asked if we needed help with anything in the area. They did try to get us to do the 90 min class in exchange for a free nights stay, however we simply told him that we had a jam packed weekend (truthfully, we did!) and he said “okay, not to worry, enjoy!” The interaction didn’t feel pushy at all.

We booked our stay through a vacation package with Busch Gardens and had to cram it into a weekend. That being said, we didn’t get to use any of the amenities besides the outdoor pool. We did, however see others playing mini golf and basketball. We are already looking forward to booking a longer trip next year so that we can truly enjoy everything that Greensprings has to offer.

Greensprings offered an easy express checkout option— all we had to do was drop our keys at the security gate on the way out and text the front desk that we were leaving. We did have to take our trash out to the dumpsters when we left, but that is easy enough as there are dumpsters located outside of each building.

It's always a pleasure to stay here for vacation. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

The property was recently purchased by Hilton. Great serene location in Williamsburg. Kid friendly daily activities, pool, courts, grills, picnic tables, walking trail (behind bldg 25), golf course near-by. Guests are expected to contribute to the room service process upon check out.

We had a group of 6 golfers. Had 3 2 bedroom units. Went on weekdays and the place was nearly empty. Nice layouts in each unit. Spacious and clean. Plenty of room for 6 of us to watch TV, congregate and share some cocktails! Was within 25 minutes to each of the golf courses. Convenient to restaurants and stores. Would stay again if in the Williamsburg area again.

These are beautiful suites on a golf course close to Williamsburg, so lots you can do. We enjoyed our stay

Very clean, front desk staff was very nice. Security was very visible throughout stay, felt very safe. The doors and walls seem thin, could hear doors open and close and talking. No elevator. Would love to see an upgrade to softer closing doors. Also unit numbers are very dark. I checked in at night and it was difficult finding the unit I was in. But overall, fantastic stay. Will be staying again in the future. Location is also great, not located in the busy area/streets but close to restaurants, shopping and Busch Gardens.

Beautiful, safe, friendly, active resort community that enriched & exceeded our experience for our family vacay.

Staff were excellent (Leah) she was very personable, knowledgeable about the property, and a happy welcoming, fun first impression to the resort.

Then, there was our Russian security guard (I do not know how to spell her name) protecting us through the night. She was so enjoyable to converse with for a few seconds while we return to the complex after a long and adventuresome day. She made us laugh and smile! What a great lasting impression!

We had adjoining suites on the 2nd floor and thought we'd struggle with the steps but once in, it's very spacious and a very welcoming setup.

All in all, I (we) enjoyed Virginia. We enjoyed the amenities/ activities of the property and when given the opportunity - will excitedly return sometime in the future (God willing).

My review is overdue, but promised I'd leave a bunch of them from my trip: So here it goes,

Greensprings is a gem. I was so glad to find this spot after reservations didn't pan out at VA beach 1 weekend. The only bad part, was that we had to leave. We showed up expecting a hotel-style vacation resort & were pleasantly surprised that they are more like luxurious 4-bdrm condos you are renting out. They have some very nice indoor and outdoor pool areas to lounge during the day and you can drive to nearby restaurants at night. (If necessary). We did that 1 night and the other nights we bought food and cooked in on the full size kitchen / ate at the full size dining area. The rooms are great and each one pretty much has its own luxury bathroom. It also has a Jacuzzi and gorgeous standup showers. The condo was beautiful and the back porch overlooks the golf courses. If you have young kids, they would have plenty of activities to choose from: a favorite being mini ⛳. If going to the area, don't pass this one up. It is well worth it. Even during the "off-season.." Which I like to go up there during.

Easy check-in. Quality customer service. The resort has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Exercise room. Basketball and mini golf plus lots of interesting activities. The condo was very clean upon arrival. I will definitely choose this resort again.

Staying here for the weekend and couldn’t wait to write this review. This place has exceeded my expectation. I was nervous to book as the photos looked outdated BUT reviews from past guests with photos, depicted the accuracy. Rooms are apartment styled. I received a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, full kitchen, living room, and washer/ dryer! I’m enjoying my stay so far and recommend everyone to book. I feel safe and am comfortable. Don’t hesitate!

The good and great things to share:

The rooms were nice and larger than they appeared in the photos. The beds were comfortable, including the sleeper sofa. The rooms, bedding, and towels were clean and comfortable. The patios/decks were really nice. The kitchen was sufficient but not overly stocked (one sauce pan, one skillet with no lid). The appliances needed minor some attention, but it was wonderful to have a washer and dryer in the condo. The dryer was missing a lint filter. The dishwasher soap dispenser didn't open every time, so we had to rerun it a couple of times. Very quick and easy fixes. The staff was incredibly responsive and helpful with any minor issues (restocking paper products, etc...). The pools and hot tub were nice. There were places nearby, such as a neighborhood Wal-Mart, fast food, ice cream, etc... Depending on traffic, it took less than 20 minutes to get to Busch Gardens. It was a quick and easy trip. We will stay here again if we go back for a week.

My only truly negative comments are:

1. The buildings do not buffer sound well between units. We had our own family members in the condo directly above us, but when the guests above them were loud, we could hear it all the way down on the first floor. I would just suggest that you be prepared for some sound traveling and try to be courteous of other guests.

2. The WiFi was absolutely horrible. My son had an online test for college and even paid for the WiFi upgrade that day, and it was still sporadic, at best. I don't know if this was impacted by us being on the first floor and the router appearing to be on the third floor, but it was the most unreliable WiFi I have ever had while traveling.

The staff will make sure you have a great stay, and the condos are great if you are traveling as a group, but you still need some privacy.

This place is absolutely amazing! We’ve had family vacations here for over three years. They have an indoor outdoor pool, daily activities, volleyball, pickle ball, outdoor activities. We absolutely love Green Springs. We’ve been there for a few years and plan to be back there for the next couple years. It’s close to many tourist attractions. The outlets or nearby, and there is many shopping opportunities close by. Busch Gardens is right down the street as well as Water Country. Geocaching is amazing in this area. We took an air tour the will be memorable, memorable for the kids for the rest of their lives. Highly recommended. The only downfall to this resort is no food service available.

This place is awesome!!! They have a nice sized indoor and outdoor pool, putt putt golf, tennis courts, and basketball courts. They also had activities daily for kids, teens, and adults. The condos were very accommodating and clean. I will definitely be back and it's a great place for just a weekend get away. Also the check in process was quick and seamless!

Huge rooms with lots of light and all appliances.
Prompt, friendly service for a drip from the tub. Matthew even cleaned and bleached after fixing it. We're using bottled water because of the taste, but that's not their fault. The deck facing the golf green is peaceful and big enough for the whole family.
There are many great things within driving distance to do every day.

Great facilities. Clean accommodations. Only critique is high chlorine level in indoor pool. Otherwise it was a great stay. Would recommend this over traditional hotels.
