Isola Bella Italian Eatery

The food here is really good! Reasonably priced, with good size portions. The food quality was excellent! Service was good, and quick. I had the gnocchi special, and my friend has the tortellini with bolognese! Both delicious! I would recommend it to anyone who likes authentic Italian food, and will definitely be back!

We came here for our first time in June of 2023… it’s a quaint restaurant with a very relaxed atmosphere. There’s plenty of outside seating and a very friendly staff. Our server, Sydney, was the best server my family and I have ever had! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and all offered selections. All of her recommendations were dynamite!! Top notch service!!! Ask for Sydney for one the best experiences on AMI while you’re in town!

From the appetizers, salads, and entrees… we have left this evening with great memories made with my whole family.

I’m on a meatless diet because of an inflammatory disease I have. I had the pasta primavera… absolutely amazing!!

I have eaten here numerous times and everything I’ve tried is always so delicious!!! Shared the filet mignon and scallops as well as the gnocchi pesto topped with shrimp with my sister tonight and it was absolutely wonderful. Love the warm cozy ambiance and friendly staff. Travis waited on us and he was so gracious and attentive. Such a gem. Desserts are incredible and made from scratch. Had such a great time dining here with my family. Gratzie Isola Bella ❤

We visited AMI for 4 days and this was the best meal I had on the island.....maybe in fact that I've had in quite awhile. The bruschetta was probably the best bruschetta I've ever tasted. The tomatoes you could tell were incredibly fresh (server said they're grown over in Bradenton by a company he knew by name), so juicy and full of flavor. We asked for extra balsamic and it was happily provided. I ordered the chicken marsala, my go to Italian dish, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was cooked perfectly and I could cut it with my fork. The fettuccine was also cooked perfectly. And the sauce was......well let's just say I refrained myself from licking the plate clean. The only downfall was dessert. We were so full from dinner, we took the lemon curd on almond shortbread home, and it was lackluster. Not a lot of flavor at all. I was expecting a super lemony flavor and it was very muted. There were oddly almond slivers in it also. Maybe that's traditional, but I didn't like that texture with the lemon curd and crust. Def would try a different dessert next time. My sister got the chicken parmesan and she loved hers just as much. Can't wait to go back again!

We were welcomed by Dan and Victoria the owners like long lost cherished family. From the moment we took our tables until the moment that we left we felt that we were treated royally. The cuisine is innovative and unlike the normal red sauce Italian fair.Bruscetta to start was innovative and tasty. The special shrimp appetizer was not to be believed. The shrimp was fresh, crunchy and tasty. The chicken marsala was intensely flavored with marsala and portobellos. The gnocchi was light and fluffy and intensely flavored. The meatballs with Ragu and spaghetti was stupendous. Desserts included a bread pudding with gelato and a riccata and pistachio cake which was divine.

Several steps above the normal Neighborhood Italian red sauce joint Isola Bella Isola lives in the pantheon of Southwest Florida Italian.

Very authentic and delicious scratch Italian fare. I was honestly surprised to get such a good meal in a relatively small island, but it stands up to some of the best! Service is really attentive with family-like friendliness. Highly recommend the chef's bolognese if it is on the specials menu and the caprese for a starter that came with fresh yellow heirloom tomatoes.

Wow! This restaurant is A+. The eggplant appetizer with burrata is fried to perfection, the eggplant inside the breading like marshmallow, and the fresh cheese soooo fresh. Special halibut on caponata unbelievable too. Perfect Caesar salad. We were too full for dessert as the portions are very generous. The decor is simple and perfect in that it doesn't fight with the very well seasoned food. The owners know what they're doing and so does the chef.

Staff here is super nice. Meals are a little small portion wise but perfect for me. Ate every bite really hit the spot.

Best restaurant on AMI! Homemade Caesar salad / amazing focaccia / fantastic pasta. A must-have while here. Tucked away in this shopping center this place is a gem. Also lovely limoncello to end!

In my opinion this is the best place to eat in Ana Maria Island. The food is very flavorful and the workers are very sweet people. The charcuterie board was delightful as well as the meatballs. It is very nice inside and looks clean.

Lovely spot. Nice outdoor seating with heaters for Chilly nights. I had the chicken Piccata and foccacia. Delicious!!!

Splendido! Without a doubt the “Isola Bella Italian Eatery” serves an incredible spaghetti carbonara. In fact, it is the best I have experienced including our visit to Italy. The ingredients, the preparation, and the presentation were all first class. My party was pleasantly impressed with our dining experience and look forward to returning on our next visit to Anna Maria. Our server Dale was knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. Thank you Dale for helping to make my birthday celebration dinner special.

Absolutely outstanding restaurant. Wonderful service. Food is out of this world. Truly authentic. The ambience makes you feel like you’re actually in Italy. Our server Daniel was world class. We’ll be back again and again. Highly recommend. The specials are always great. Try the the burrata antipasto board and shrimp far diavolo but everything is delicious.

One of ours favorites! A high end dining experience in terms of food and service but has a comfortable vibe. I especially like the different dishes compared to other predictable Italian restaurant selections. I highly recommend trying all the courses, my favorite appetizer is the eggplant ez Bella, it’s big enough to be an entree, I also love getting the Caesar salad!!

A little late on my review but as an Italian I really appreciated the food of this restaurant. Being so hard to eat good Italian food that's authentic it was satisfying to find a good place that made me feel like home. The burrata board was very good and creative, the amatriciana was very close to what I use to eat in Rome and the ravioli alla vodka were good as well definitely will go back when I get the chance.

Who likes great food? Then you have to eat here. Everything on the menu is amazing. We had our reception here with 20 guests. From our initial discussion with Vicky we were confident everything would go off without a hitch. Dealing with a large party is never easy and the entire team knocked it out of the park. Thank you Vicky and Dan.

I was visiting Bradenton, FL with my college friends and we ran into this restaurant! The hostess was so sweet and tried her best to get us a table as soon as possible, as waiting for a table in this town is normally crazy. The Calamari was delicious and the overall experience was awesome! Will be returning to this cute family owed business! 10/10

My boyfriend & I came here for our anniversary dinner, and I can’t say enough good things! The staff was very friendly from the minute that we walked in the door. The food was also delicious - we split the eggplant eza bella for our appetizer and it was amazing!! By far the best place to eat on the island and will definitely be coming here more often. Highly recommend!!

I am not kidding, this is probably the best Italian I’ve had in a very long time. I live in Austin and our options are limited (to put it nicely).

Everyone in our party of eight had a great dish, HOWEVER, I have to say my dish stole the show. Order the Chicken Marsala, you will not regret it.

One of the best restaurants on the island. Do not miss the gnocchi. They were perfect. Had the best veal piccata ever. Tried the salted cod fritters on special and really enjoyed them.
Sydney was a great waitress. The hostess was also fantastic.
