Sun and Surf Beach Shop

This place is incredible! Jennifer and Meg are so helpful and great with these animals. Make sure you stop by to see some of the happiest Birds in town. Not to mention their prices inside are extremely affordable!

There are MANY beach shops on Anna Maria Island but Sun and Surf stand out for their excellent customer service. This past week was my husband's birthday and his old AMI visor that he has had for 10 years was really looking ratty. So I called Sun and Surf and they texted a photo of what they had and it was the same brand. Not only did they mail it to me but they gift wrapped it for free. Other stores said things like: "I dunno know...you will have to come in ( I told them I was in Kentucky)" or, "We are too busy now, call back." and blah, blah, blah. Heather treated me as if I was standing right in front of her and nothing else mattered but getting my husband a quality visor. WTG, Sun and Surf!!!! See you in December.

I only come here to see Antigua the Sun Conure. Such a cute bird.

My favorite place to visit when I come to Anna Maria island! My kids just adore the birds! The staff were very helpful and friendly! Can’t wait to visit again!!! Best shop on the island!!!

Great place to browse. We always find something to buy here. It’s fun to see the parrots outside too!

This is a must visit staple of the island they have birds that will talk to you they are pretty cool and it’s a free activity- that is hard to come by on the island. So go and check it out and you can pick up some souvenirs if you must.
