This orchid farm is absolutely MAGICAL 🤩

As you enter through the side wooden gate - you find yourself under tall trees offering shade, hanging plants and orchids from all of them, very cute garden decor all over, beautiful statues and even a fountain ⛲ And a very friendly orange kitty will keep you company while you explore the gardens 😻

They have 3 large covered areas full of orchids in pots, or hanging in random objects, or attached to wood pieces! So many choices!

You must make an appointment either by phone or email. We were welcomed by Doug who showed us around and explained about the different types and care.

After we made our selections (only got 4 🤷🏻‍♀), he made hanging hooks for all of them and further explained about the care, how much water, sun, etc.

If you're in the area, definitely swing by n experience this for yourself!

They take cash or card and are pet friendly!

Literally awestruck by this beautiful garden. It's a commercial farm that you can visit by appointment but, once a month, the great folks allow you to peruse the most varied and plentiful orchid farm. Every single genus that I'm familiar with was well represented. The service is incredible! While suggestive and helpful, it was more of passing exchanges than someone with a notepad following you around. Three huge greenhouses chuck full of orchid beauty, all set in a serene environment in Old St Petersburg. I spent $70 and walked out with two encyclias, two tolumnias and a dendobrium. If you love orchids, this should be on your bucket list!

I absolutely love St. Pete Orchid Farm, I visit monthly for their open house. They are so kind and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in to their paradise. Wonderful selection of orchids and bromeliads. There is something for everyone- to complex orchid hybrids to easy to care for sansevieras. They also offer great advice for care and maintenance for your orchids. Even if you are not a collector of orchids, please stop by just to observe the beauty of their hard work. This St. Pete gem is like stepping into another world.

This place is amazing. Love doing business with local company instead of a big box store especially when prices are comparable but variety and selection is a thousand times better. Ask for Mike.

Beautiful selection of orchids and great customer service. I bought some orchids remotely for my friends birthday who lives in St. Pete, they helped with delivery and everything was perfect. Gorgerous and unique orchids!

Great little personal greenhouse that has a variety of unusual orchids. Open the 2nd Saturday each month or by appointment. It is located in a residential area in the owners private yard.

This place is awesome!! So beautiful. So many orchids and Doug is so so nice. Its a hidden gem kinda literally because it’s in a neighborhood. It’s by appointment so call ahead. Such a incredible orchid collection with really healthy plants.

Today was an open house so we got there right at 10. We have been to our beloved Maui many times, but never have I seen so many unique and exquisite orchids! Mike (right?) and Mary, you made our visit even more enjoyable. Mike, you gave this "death thumb" ideas for keeping my orchids alive; Mary, I would have enjoyed just spending time talking with you. Beautiful place and people.

Wonderful orchid farm! I called last minute on a Saturday and Doug quickly got me to me and said come on over. There are many orchids to look at. I ended up purchasing 4 which I am super excited about. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed! Thank you St. Pete’s Orchid Farm!!!!

This is such an inspiring place to shop and visit. Lots and lots of orchids and other plants. Slice of heaven.

Beautiful venue typically by appointment only. Everyone who works there is so nice! We'll be back for future open house days.

The monthly open house is a nice treat to look forward to. Their propertly is divided very nicely making it a nice stroll through the gardens and greenhouses. The owner Doug is very knowledgeable and has a great selection of plants.

Love grows here. These folks do it right. Personal attention, loving care and a gorgeous presentation. If you love orchids you will LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

Doug is great. He is very experienced and has a lot of cool native orchids.
