Save A Lot

WOW, THAT'S MY FIRST TIME IN THIS STORE. BUT WAS AMAZED OF HOW CLEAN THE STORE IS. I FOUND EVERYTHING I NEEDED. SURPRISED TO HAVE FOUND, A GREAT DEAL GROCERIES, THAT THE OTHER ONES DID NOT HAVE. IT'S LIKE GOING TO A CANDY STORE. EXCITED, BUT I COULD NOT GET EVERYTHING. SO MY NEXT TRIP WILL STILL BE EXCITING. HAPPY TO SPEND AND BUY. AND I CAN'T FORGET, EXCEPTIONAL HELP BY THE STORE EMPLOYEE, WHO ALSO TREATED ME LIKE A QUEEN, N VERY HELPUL AND CURTIOUS.

Convenient store location. Prices are reasonable. Products are good and fresh. Staff is very friendly. I recommend this establishment to anyone.

Fortunately, I was on the north side of St Pete and was able to stop in for a few items. Bought steaks and turkey tenderloin. S-A -L meats are always a good buy and better quality than I see at other stores. We lost our great south side location at 6th St S and 45th Ave S.
I feel ripped off every time I go to Publix.
I wish the owners would look into the vacant store at 18th Ave S and 22nd St S. It would be a gold mine.
The previous Walmart Neughbirhpod Grocery left before the south side gentrification boom started in 2018. There is money to be made from a growing, more affluent population in St Pete. The nearest actual large grocery is at 3rd Ave S or 54th Ave S. Compared to any of the "super stores," Save A Lot is such a pleasure.
Update 2/2024: Store seems better organized. Good inventory choices. Their house brand is good quality and better priced. Shopping carts are way past their prime. Time to replace them!

The store is nice and neat and some of the food there is affordable to be able to make meals and the employees are very nice and helpful

I was skeptical at first but this location has some great quality produce!

This place is extra clean and the workers are always so friendly.

Cheaper than target and friendly staff

Much better that other Save A Lot stores I've visited. Their produce section is right up front and has some good products. The store is well appointed, clean, and well maintained. Worthwhile if you're in the neighborhood.

Deals and smiling eyes, from masked faces!! If you are willing to take some time and hunt for the best prices and great ingredients, then plan a masked trip, bring your recyclable bags and a quarter!! Oh, and don't forget to bring a good attitude and respect, these hard working essential workers help us provide good meals for ourselves and those we love and care for!!!😊😊

The women that work at this Save-A-Lot location are hard working and run the store beautifully. They always have what I need and they are always polite and helpful no matter what time of day I go in. I am genuinely happy to see the same ladies there week after week.

Also, their produce is excellent and the prices are great. I love this store.

The is bare a lil .but the some the things I needed was their.people gotta stop putting meat anywhere they feel put.its wrong and its a health risk.the manager was over worked and the cashier was also.but in all its was OK.I seen something's I am going back to purchase. Just be thankful and be patient. Things will be fine .thank you save a lots .

There was a gentleman working there and his name was Bob. He had a Save-A-Lot shirt on but said he works out of various stores. I was tired and not feeling good only needed for items. Two of the items at two different times I noticed Tim and ask where they were. He told me which aisle was very nice but ended up walking by both times and help me find exactly what I was looking for. In just casual talk and he mentioned that he loves his job and that's why he doesn't retire. This was obvious to me because he was so helpful. Without being bothersome or anything like that he was just really nice and took the time to even help me pick out chili with or without beans. Bob made my Save-A-Lot experience a good thing. I walked in with a frown but walked out with a smile on my face.

Like a lot of folks these days I need to pinch pennies after seven years without a raise while everything gets more expensive. The store saves money by not having fancy displays and carrying only a basic line that will appeal to the tight budget shopper. For the low budget shopper this is a good place to shop. Packages are regular size at a better than average price. The fresh meat department is not huge, just basics like hamburger, chicken, hot dogs, lunch meat, sausage. The frozen area is where they shine, if you want it they probably have it. I love the ferretos frozen pizzas, they are cheap and taste great, the best frozen pizza other than digornos that I've ever tried. They tend to put their stores on the edge of economically depressed areas so they are always very busy. I shop here on the way home from work it's easy in and out. Only thing is take your own shopping bag because they charge for bags, helps keep the prices down. They used to also charge cart rental but have since added cart security so now they don't anymore. I like this place, shop here a lot, people are nice and the selection is good for the budget shopper.

They always have good Avacados. Prices are great, it's also a clean, cool and comfortable shopping experience. I will shop here again. Parking is endless, and a close spot to front is always accessible. Handicap friendly.

Fantastic store fantastic pricing the customer service people were actually smiling with his refreshing I hope they keep it up and actually help the customers when you check out nothing worse than waiting in line to snotty customer service

Clean, well stocked shelves. Wide variety reasonably priced food. Staff always polite and knowledgeable. Who needs Publix where half the employees are loss prevention and the rest of them are career....

Love the new staff and appreciate how you put money into your stores-OURS LOOKS GREAT!!!!! HOWEVER, THEY NEED A SECURITY GUARD!!!!! THEY FIRED THE OLD ONES BECAUSE THE OWNERS WOULDN'T PAY FOR ONE BUT THIS STORE HAS A LOT OF THEFT! MY WIFE AND I SEE PPL WALK RIGHT IN, FILL BAGS AND LITERALLY JUST WALK BACK OUT! SPEND THE MONEY FOR A SECURITY GUARD, NOT ONLY BC OF THE LOCATION BUT ALSO BECAUSE OF HOW THE WORLD IS TODAY!!!!! I'VE SPOKEN WITH STAFF MANY MANY TIMES AND THEY WANT AND NEED A SECURITY GUARD!!!! HOPE YOU'LL LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES!?!?!?!? GUESS WELL FIND OUT!

Always a good place to stop for in and out quick trip.

I'm rating this highly mainly for one reason. There's a particular cashier named Sheila at the MLK & 7th location who is helpful and always smiling. Also, this location is convenient for me & has low prices.
