Tobys Original Little Italy Pizza

Came here yesterday for just a few slices to try to see if it’s the real GOOD one…It sure was - we came back again today for a whole large pie 🍕+ garlic knots and Italian subs. It truly made our day with happy smiles and happy tummy… This will be our new favorite go to every time we come down to St. Pete now… It’s a must! 👌

1st timers! Recommend to us, and I stopped in and got a menu and we came back thst weekend!. Salad was good. Pizza was amazing and huge! Lots of times you get a huge pizza with no flavor, that wasnt this place. Very happy.

We had an...interesting...experience. There was some crazy guy adjacent to our table, talking to himself and then talking to us...essentially asking for a "beautiful woman." Once he went outside, I mentioned it to the front desk and they made sure he didn't come back in. That was very much appreciated.
The food? Super good. I wanted so many things on the menu and couldn't choose! One of their salads is definitely next though. We got a large pepperoni, a large specialty white (with ham), and a couple pitchers of beer. All were very good!

Pizza is THE best! Another visit....another scrumptious pizza!! Our go to when it comes to authentic NY tasty pizza!! They also have delicious Stromboli, Italian salads. Their pizza is hot, thin crunchy crust and superb sauce. We get extra onions that are sliced very thin. An enjoyable cold breakfast bite of leftovers is beyond delicious 😋

This is my favorite Pizza joint in Pinellas County. There is no table service so you never feel rushed when dining. Food is awesome and the prices are reasonable.

I love this place! So delicious and affordable. I live 2 hours away and this place is a MUST anytime when I'm in St. Pete.

Every year I come to FL, my parents to take me here. This is our favourite pizza joint in St. Petersburg area. Consistent, affordable and totally delicious!! 🍕🥗🥤

The plain cheese pizza is fresh, hot as heck and full of cheesy goodness!! And it reheats well the next day, if there are any leftovers, that is!!

Their tossed & chef salad is crisp with fresh veggies and a delicious dressing. The Garlic Knots (ohhhhh the garlic-herb-oil is incredible) are what bread dreams are made of!

My dad always orders the meatball sub with that incredible marinara sauce! 🥫

If order at the counter beprepared to wait for your 'za, totally and completely WORTH it!! =) But you can order ahead to skip the wait!

TOBY'S never disappoints...as usual, I'll order a large cheese pizza and wrap it up to take home on my flight back to Canada!!

Oh yea...I declare the pizza in Tampa every time I go home.

I found an amazing pizza place in the area that rivals the quality of New Jersey's finest. As a New Jersey native, I have high pizza standards, and this place definitely lives up to them. The owner happens to be the cousin of the owner of my favorite pizza spot back home, and the resemblance in taste is undeniable. I'm thrilled to have discovered this place, and it has become my go-to for delicious pizza in the area. I got half pepperoni, half sausage, cooked well-done.

It’s probably my favorite pizza place in town. The large size pizza is more than enough for 3-4 people. Their garlic knots are divine!!!

I received a coupon for a free pizza, so I went to claim and was pleasantly surprised. Customer service A+ very nice greeting when you walk in. I placed the order and waited less then 30mins which is phenomenal ✨. I have found a pizza place in my neighborhood which is awesome.

Usually awesome. But, when they send you out a stromboli that's half uncooked because it's half an hour till close when you pick it up? I don't know? Only reason I could perceive that maybe could explain this. Only reason it's not a one star is that usually this place is on point.

Our Indian family has been meeting up at Little 🇮🇹 for pizza 🍕 that has been cooked from a brick oven and it has always been like a original Italian version that is absolutely delicious. 💯 The atmosphere is awesome and I guess we all have grown up and gotten to know each other there for 40 years!! ❤🇮🇹🍕💯🙏

I've been eating here since I was a kid. Always a solid choice for pizza, Philly cheese steaks, cold subs & salads.

Some of the very best pizza we have ever had. So good we ate here twice during our trip.

Just went and enjoyed their awesome steak sandwiches there yesterday. I noticed this sign about their 51st anniversary special on January 19th.

This is one of the best places in Saint Petersburg. Truly a gem. Their food is delicious and their staff is beyond incredible. I am impressed with the quality of their food as well as the quality of the staff as mentioned. Val was amazing! Polite, helpful and just all around deserving of a huge round of applause for having such a great place. Support our local businesses! Thank you for making my football/sister night awesome!

An out of the way spot (for us) that we would never have found on our own not living in St. Pete, but we took a recommendation and gave Toby’s a shot. Place is terrific.

Diverse & plentiful menu of options to choose from, was well staffed, and food came out in a flash.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call them “cons” but two comments are (1) they don’t offer table service, you order at the bar and pick your food up and get your own drinks. No big deal, just putting it out there. (2) While they had more then ample seating, it’s nearly all booths so if your party is more then four you’ll have to split up. Again, not a negative, just something to keep in mind.

The energy in the place is great and was frankly contagious. The staff was all hustling and positive and it rubbed off the patrons who where all interacting with each other as we placed our orders and picked up our meals.

As a somewhat artistic person I appreciated the the custom painted mural and NYC theme in the back; it is lights-out.

Food quality and portion size: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Next time we are in the area, we’ll defiantly pay them another visit.

I’ve been frantically looking for a real, authentic, New York style….Italian pizza joint for the last 8 years since I moved to Florida. There have been some places that lasted for a short period of time, and would either change ownership or never made a consistently good pizza. FINALLY, I found the best pie in the Tampa/St.Pete area.

I was having this conversation with a customer of mine, and he introduced me to Toby’s, I was skeptical when I drove up, but was blown away at how good the pizza was. The quality of the cheese and their ingredients stand out…it feels like you’re sitting down for pie in NY. I can’t believe it took me this long but this is the spot, and worth the drive to St. Pete’s.

I’ll admit that on my second, third and even fourth visits I was anticipating the pizza to not be as good as the first time…it gets better and better every visit. I’ve ordered in, and ordered out…no difference, always good. The place is always packed and the boxes are stacked ceiling high…and for good reason! This is the spot…best pizza in the area….hand’s down.
