Parking lot is very close to the beach and the boardwalk is relatively short. There is a sprayer you can use to wash your feet off, and it is tall enough to spray off your entire body if you need to. Parking is $4 an hour, and you have to have a Florida tag in order to park there. I felt that the price was definitely worth it.

We went the first week in February, and the beach seem to be pretty well maintained. There are nice shells, and lots of sand. If you do not like sand you will probably not enjoy this beach.

I went at sundown on a relatively colder day (~55F), and the beach was great! Super fine, white sand and no seaweed or debris once you get past the beachhead/parking lot area. The parking lot is just a stones throw away from the whole beach. Not much people around at the time I went, so I’d say it’s pretty quiet and calm. I imagine you can get pretty good photos here as well given how clean the beach and sight lines/views are. Highly recommend making a stop here for the sunsets!

We visited this beach in late October and the weather was perfect! Soft, white sand, gentle, clear ocean, and not too crowded. Perfect place to relax with a book and to take a nice dip in the Gulf. Several places to rent a sun shade and chairs, as well as stand up paddle boards. Great place to watch a sunset as well!

Nice beach to get away. They did have canopy to buy, $40 and it came with 2 chairs. The water was cold when I went, and the restroom was walking distance from the beach. Parking you must pay for per hour, and you can select how long you will stay in that parking spot.

I love going here on the weekends and take photos. Very peaceful and relaxing. Once the sun comes up, expect many people to arrive. Parking is free before 8am.

This is one of my favorite local spots to come and chill out. It's close to the Gulfport area and it's just a super clean beach. Usually plenty of parking spots and anything you need around the area. There are some rocks to the right as soon as you walk onto the sand... it reminds me of those secret coves. Take some pictures of the wildlife while you're there!!

It was a fun time with the family. I prefer Clearwater personally. A close tiki bar with fair pricing for adult beverages. Semi clean restrooms close by. Parking was $9.95 for two hours.

Beautiful beaches. Where I was there wasn't really any place close by to get drinks or snacks, you would need to go across the street where all the stores are. Parking prices were very reasonable and there was plenty of parking available. This area was mostly hotels and resorts so I'm not sure if there is an area with a boardwalk or anything like that.

Mild to occasionally moderate waves but still gentle enough for young kids. Doesn't get deep quickly, and the water was nice and warm in April. No cold shock going in. Public restrooms right before you go on the dock to walk onto the beach. Parking was easy, and you can use Park Mobile or Flow Bird app to pay.

It was a cloudy cooler day but it was very beautiful. I could sit there for hours also take a nap.

We got there early on a Tuesday, so there was plenty of parking. Outdoors shower, bathroom facility, good spot walking distance to food. Post hurricane there were tons of shells and urchins on the beach and crustaceans in the surf. Reminder to be kind to the Earth-take only memories (and pictures!) And leave only footprints.

Been coming here for years. Best time to go is during the weekdays, even better if in the evening, otherwise parking can be a little difficult. Either way, always a positive experience, best beach in Florida by far.

Clear waters, far less people than your average beach in this location. Accessible help and customer service l. Affordable chairs and gondolas, with plenty of space to set it up. Parking is a hassle. Plan to spend some time searching for a free space or to park at a nearby garage and walk a short distance to the beach.

The best beach in Florida, and perhaps the best beach in the Country. Beautiful beaches, perfect water, amazing weather, the locals are amazing, small town feel with so many shops and food options. St Pete is absolutely paradise. As a local I will say parking for the beach is a challenge. Come very early or wait till afternoon lunch for best availability.
