I called and spoke to Tom the owner and was able to quickly schedule an initial appointment. His team came out and updated all of my GFI and lighting. The quality of the work and pricing were both exceptional. I had them come back yesterday to install two new light fixtures. I would definitely recommend Mcdevitt electric.

I had called McDevitt Electric over the weekend regarding a somewhat urgent situation. I received a call promptly early Monday morning and they were gracious enough to fit me into their schedule that day. Two employees Paul and Sal came to my home and swiftly fixed my issue. They were accommodating, respectful, knowledgable and extremely competent. I feel fortunate to have found this gem of a company. Thank you Paul and Sal!!!

Excellent Electrical Contractor! Provided timely quotes to replace and/or repair a meter can and appurtenances. I selected to replace the meter box for a fair price. McDevitt Electric took care of obtaining permit from the City and scheduled FPL to disconnect power. They arrived on time to complete the work and everything was completed to my satisfacción! I strongly recommend McDevitt Electric and will use them again!

Extremely responsive

Had appointment for electrician to come out and provide estimate for repair on kitchen fluorescent lighting between 12:30-2pm. Was told someone would call 30 minutes prior to estimated arrival time. Never called me to tell me they are coming and then after I called office, the guy called me and said we should be able to get out there next week. I told him don’t bother. Not very professional !!

From start to finish, the encounter was marked by unprofessionalism, rudeness, and incompetence.

First and foremost, the demeanor of the electricians was consistently rude and dismissive. They seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns and showed a lack of respect towards both me and my property.

I would definetly NOT recommend them.

Extremely overpriced, $855 for 3 hrs simple wiring work. They charge $187 per hr labor. Do not recommend at all.

We hired McDevitt through our decorator and spent over $10,000 for this company to rewire our kitchen, and replace outlets throughout the condo. The process and final product were equally BAD.

On two separate occasions they cut the power line to the AC unit requiring our AC Contractor to correct the mistakes. At the end of the day, we have parts of two doorbell, neither of which work, a dining room switch that also turns on the utility room lights, this occurred when they removed the needed switch box that was already there.

I think you get the idea, I can’t believe that professionals would leave such a mess.

Made an appointment, never showed up and never returned any of my three phone calls trying to reschedule. Not professional at all.
