Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

My Fiancé had not slept the night at all because we've been dealing with a lot of stressful situations here lately. So he caused us to just get take out instead of dining in which is fine. I ordered the Brioche French toast with bacon and scrambled eggs. He ordered the chicken fried steak with medium eggs and hash browns. Everything was so delicious and on point for what we wanted it was just so good. The service was fast and the food was fantastic for being so quick.

They are always a good choice for dependably good food. Their menu is pretty diverse, so everyone has several appealing choices. The service is always really friendly and efficient. They are also nice about customizing your order. I don't recommend the asparagus, but everything else is excellent. 🙂

Had that late night hankering and still wanted to keep it healthy for the most part. So I went to Perkins, and they had some yummy snacks that hit the spot.

Came in late on the late night craving something sweet was greeted kindly and served promptly. Didn’t have the dessert I wanted but Tyler the manager on duty provided me with the next best option some fresh carrot cake now my favorite 10/10 would recommend. Keep up the good work guys

We came in over Christmas and had Jeremy as our server. What a pleasure it is to know there is amazing service still around. He never let our drinks go below half way. The food was 5 star so the cooks need to be given some praise. The manager came and checked to see how our time was its nice to have management visible Overall we had an amazing experience and i would recommend this location to everyone i meet. Keep up the good work your restaurant id awesome!!!!!

Bridgette is always the best waitress we’ve ever had at any restaurant and that’s no exaggeration.
So an interesting thing happened today. We’ve gone to the orange city Perkins for at least 20 years and Tyler S. Is the first manager that has ever asked us what we’d like to drink and brought us our drinks when he sat us. That simple little thing helps the waitresses so much and it wasn’t lost on us.

I am writing this review with pleasure. Just the other day we came in and had Jeremy as our server.

The attention and promptness of him greeting us was wonderful. There are so many places I have gone to, and I sit, and wait never did our drinks go empty. He always had a smile when he approached and had wonderful suggestions.

The food was wonderful but the service was so much better. Can’t wait to come back on our way back through from Orlando. I highly suggest this Perkins and ask for Jeremy. He is attentive his smile is contagious.

Seriously though if you want wonderful impeccable service come here and ask for Jeremy because he has been the best server we have had there so far.

The service was excellent and breakfast was delicious and so reasonable. Jeremy took great care of our table. My 7year-old granddaughter even colored a picture for him. My sister ordered meatloaf and loved it (huge serving!). So glad this Perkins is open. I wish they had one in Clermont as well (hint, hint). Great food, service, prices!

Crystal was fabulous! Considering the view of the custom across from us she was understanding and changed our seat immediately. Then we were able to enjoy our meal. Thanks Crystal you are super.

I came to Perkins last night with my husband and daughter for a valentine’s dinner . The place was packed but Mrs Lexi the service lead was amazing she was very attentive to everyone waiting there was a little bit of a wait but Mrs Lexi got to everyone in a fast matter I seen her clearing tables and cashing people out and seating people all with a big smile on her face . Then our waitress was Mrs Hope and she was so friendly and made our experience very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back to this location from now on. Thank you two ladies for making this valentine dinner a great one .

Elyse was our server. She was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. Refilled drinks with out having to ask for them. The lady at the register was very nice and cordial. I loved the waffle and the smoked sausage. The steak and red peppers skillet was good, needed more peppers.

Mandy is literally the best server there is. She’s kind and attentive, she anticipates your needs and she never misses a thing! We only come here because of her!

Highly disappointed in the cleanliness (or lack of), attitude of management and atmosphere. Corporate really needs to watch what happens on a day to day basis and have a few secret shoppers in my opinion.

Each time I've been here they are always courteous, seating area is always cleaned in between, and food comes out pretty quick after ordering, even when they're busy. When busy wait is usually only 15-20 minutes. The Pot Roast is very good.

Great food and wonderful staff. I highly recommend having the spinach sauteed in garlic butter as well as the pork chops.

I came for dinner on 12/22 at about 7:00 PM for dinner in Orange City. My server was Jeremy. He was attentive, very outgoing. My soda was refilled before it was empty. That is very important to me. Even though it was busy, I was impressed with how quickly my food came out. It was nice seeing I believe it was a manager visible. The cashier who took my payment was very friendly as well. Please let Jeremy know to keep up the great work. Also the cooks in the back. The food was very good. Let them know their deeply appreciated as well for their great work of getting the food out so quickly.

My family of five decided to venture out for breakfast at Perkins on a Sunday at 9:00am. We had amazing service and food. My family was greeted quickly and got us a large booth with out even asking.

Our serve justice did a great job, even when dealing with rude customers. Perkins offer a military discount and late night prices after 9pm.

Definitely will be back.

It was wonderful! Our waitress Mandy was amazing, it was my moms birthday and she put a candle in the cake we ordered. We got there just as it opened and she was very upbeat and cheerful 😊

My family and I visited Perkins a couple days prior to Christmas and we had the pleasure of being served by Jeremy. He was so kind and friendly and our kids absolutely adored him. He made our visit unexpectedly pleasant and we will most definitely be back because of him. It is obvious that he must have young children because in a moment where we were ready to pack it up and take the kids home because they were cranky, Jeremy was able to bring smiles to their faces and ultimately enabled us to stay and enjoy our meal. He is a true asset to Perkins and I wish more restaurants had employees like him.
