This place has some awesome Birria tacos!!! Just so delicious. The order brings 3 tacos. They do have a full menu available and everything I've had is good. The restaurant is set behind the supermarket so just walk to the back and you'll see some tables and the area where you order your food from. The crew is friendly but I'm not sure if they speak English so be aware.

Absolutely incredible. Prices are insanely cheap for Mexican candy and snacks. We wanted breakfast burritos, but the language barrier landed us the Steak Burritos at 10 AM, but can I complain? No, because it was one of the BEST burritos you will EVER have. 100 stars if I could. You need to visit!

Very authentic and fresh food. Huge portions. Massive grocery/carniceria. Pork tamales are awesome.

So far I’ve ate at 3 different taco places here in Gainesville and this place has the best tacos de birria with consume this town has to offer! Meat was not tough at all some places have the tendency on overcooking. This place also has a market so very convenient!

Don’t pass this place stop here for a really good authentic food and a super well stocked grocery store everything very fresh and good prices
I made a mistake and ordered the Texas fajitas, the chicken pieces were cut very small and overcooked as well as the steak. The shrimp was OK but not too many my opinion is they should not cut the chicken in such little tiny pieces so that it’s all dried out some other peoples food look very good, so I’m withholding judgment till I try something else but Texas the heat is for $14. It should be better.

My first time coming to this restaurant and I am so happy I took a chance on some really good and high quality mexican food! It was a delight! The staff were very polite and the atmosphere was good, Will be recommending to all my friends!

They have always treated us like family therefore they are family. There are only two places in town I recommend and this place is one of them. Many choices. Great place to get tacos, burritos, authentic Mexican dishes, tamales, pastries, candies,groceries, ice cream, ice cream, ice cream, wait did i mention the ice cream, and meats!

The Carnita tacos are so good and the Aguas are refreshing. The guy who took are order was great also. He double checked are order since we order alot also.

Friendly service, really good food@ the cafe. I will definitely return. The beef burritos are are authentic, add the condiments from the buffet cart & you've got a great dinner. I've never gone in without my Spanish speaking friend, who places my order for me. So I'm not sure of any language barrier.

I placed an order for delivery. It was a slow process and took a good while to receive my food. It wasn't cold though. And the food is so good and well worth waiting for! Spent twenty bucks and gota cheeseburger meal two amazing tacos and hot wings and fries. $20 delivery minimum to come to my house but I'd easily spend that for a medium Pizza and wings. The amount of food is great. Also REAL FOOD! most fast food has terrible meat hamburger patties. This burger was so good and real the fries are very real the chicken tastes great and isn't dry from over cooking it. First time getting delivery and I'll definitely be using them again. Real food is hard to find and I mostly enjoy eating at home because of that.

Since moving from Arizona, where amazing Mexican food restaurants are everywhere we have been searching for our new favorite food place. We stumbled across Carniceria Tapatia a few months ago and completely love it. We have probably had 1/2 the items on the menu so far and NOTHING has disappointed us. From Menudo and fautas, to Carne plates it's all wonderful. Staff is always wonderful, both at the restaurant and the store. Don't let the fact it's in a small shopping center fool you, it's very clean, and fun place to shop.

Ok , today I ordered the Caldo de Res at lunchtime ! It was delivered to my work. 12 dollars for the beef and vegetables soup. Was enough for two people, probably three. The food was wonderful! Great job guys..

Sunday , there is a elote' (festival corn ) out front and it rocks !
The caldo de res is absolutely delightful. Recommend it definitely 👍
