Tropical Waves Hair Studio

I saw Sharline today for the first time for a haircut. Hair was at the middle of my back and is now at my shoulders. Sharline took the time to listen to what I wanted and went the extra mile to make sure that the length was right and that there were no stray long hairs. She also took the time to review my wash/style techniques at home & give me pointers. Great experience! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I had went in with orange hair and was in desperate need of getting it fixed. Stephanie came in on Sunday to help fix my hair crisis and I couldn’t be more grateful! I absolutely love the results. Sharline was awesome.. I have gray hair coming in and sick of having to dye the roots every 6 weeks. So she took her time with my brown hair and put foils to make my hair blend in to the gray I already have.. It looks awesome I got so many compliments today!! I will go back just when I need toner put on.. This is great! And she did my eyebrows with the thread and they look so good! Like a bit of an eye lift with this way of doing the brows... Highly recommend her.. She knows her stuff!

I absolutely loved my haircut!. I moved here a few months ago, and finding a stylist I can trust with my hair is scary. Sharline not only was excited to do the style I wanted, but she showed me previous cuts she did that were similar. She educated me on length of cuts and how to properly brush/style my hair. I recommend getting your hair dryed so she can explain how to keep it looking just as cute as when you walk out the door. I won't go anywhere else!

First time visit, plus it was a same day call for an appointment and Sharline got me right in. She is amazing, patient and gave me exactly what I was looking for and then some. Will definitely be back, especially for the threading service. Thank you for making my hair have some style. :)

Sharline highlighted my hair for me today and it truly brought my hair to life! She also added “fairy hair”, which are little lines of sparkles that reflect in the sun. She did a beautiful job! I have gone to her for years and she always does amazing. I always leave with a smile! She goes above and beyond every time.

I'm an older man and my hair is very fine. I really don't like having to deal with it blowing around when I'm at the beach or working outside. For the last few years I've gone back and forth from keeping it short to parting and spraying it into position. I didn't like either option, and going to "haircut" franchise places never made me feel good about how I looked. Plus, I never worked with the same person twice. Stepping up to Tropical Waves was a good decision. Trisha took the time to explain exactly what would work best for me. Now I have a style that not only looks good but doesn't require a lot of effort to maintain.

I went for a first time visit with Sharline, hadn't been to a salon in over 5 years because of finances and am very particular about my hair; it's rare to find a dresser who listens to what you want and delivers it and BETTER!
I love the color she gave me it's so beautiful and the cut feels AMAZING!

Shirlene gave me the haircut I've been trying to get for TWO years with other stylists. Super cute two tier medium bob. I absolutely LOVE it. I showed her a few pictures and she went to town! Can't wait to go back for my highlights / lowlights. You ROCK Shirlene!!

I found this salon almost 5 years ago when I moved to Deltona. Charlene is my stylist. She cuts and colors my hair every 6-7 weeks and threads my eyebrows. I have never waited more than 10 minutes and wouldn't mind if I did. The conversation and atmosphere of the salon is most enjoyable. I would trust any of the girls in the salon with my hair.
I look forward to chatting with the owner Trish on all my visits.

Sharline does a FANTASTIC job with eyebrow/lip threading! I have been to many threading places & she is one of the best! Very meticulous & works hard to get just the right amount of arch & sculpting. Right up the street from home too! Called at 10 am & they had an opening at 1:30. Greeted me by name as I walked in 2 minutes early & sat me right down. Great pricing & service, will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience! My sister and I were able to get in for a walk in and both had the best cut and color in under 3 hours. Went today (eyebrow threading) , 1st time there and everyone was nice. Sharline did my eyebrows and let me tell you I'm very happy with the results. She did and awesome job, I'm so glad I read the reviews and it was just like they said " she's very good on threading and the shaping of the eyebrows" ..will go back again, thank you !

I usually go to Daytona to get my eyebrows threaded. My boyfriend is the one who found this place. It was my birthday and I was nervous about having someone new thread me! I’m so glad i decided to give them a try. Sharline is amazing when it comes to eyebrows!! Not only was it not painful, she took her time, gave me an amazing arch, and still left my eyebrows thick! I have never gotten more compliments before!! Everyone at the shop is so warm and welcoming even the customers!! I love it! Im so happy I decided to take a risk! It’s well worth! Went to the salon recently for the first time and I'm happy to say it was a great experience. I called after hours left a message and my call was returned the next morning and the appointmenr was scheduled. The cut and color was one of the best! The staff is friendly and welcoming and so are the other customers. Kelly is very knowledgable, she explained what she was doing and even provided suggestions. My hair looks great I have received a lot of compliments! Will definitely come back.

This was my first time here. I came in with a butchered haircut from great clips desperate for help. Sharline did an amazing job with what she had left to work with and was professional as well as knowledgeable about my hair type. I was very happy when I left and booked another appointment immediately.

I came in, and my hair stylist, Kelly, was super nice and helped me figure something out. She did an AMAZING job and was able to make me feel confident again. Definitely recommend this place!
