Keith and Diane were great to work with! My heat went out in my 2020 Outback and he knew immediately what was wrong. It was a relief to know my car was with someone so knowledgeable. I also had him fix/replace my breaks and I could immediately tell the difference. My car breaks so smooth now! On top of that, he was much more affordable compared to the dealer. I would recommend Soobie Surgeons to all my Subaru friends. Going forward, I will be choosing Soobie Surgeons over the dealer. I can't say enough good things about them.

Highly recommend if you own a Subaru and live in TC metro. This guy is honest, helpful, and actually explains in plain English when you need to know what's going on. They do extremely thorough work, keep you informed, and never pressure you to repair anything unnecessary. Their goal is to make exactly the repairs you ask for, and get the car back on the road with minimum fuss.
I've had my car serviced with Soobie twice now and both times they've been exceptionally responsive, helpful, and efficient, and they informed me when they thought I should get a different service from the one I requested, and explained the full reasoning.
These specialists are worth the drive, don't settle for middling work just to stay in the cities.

Soobie Surgeons is a great place! Keith inspected my 2002 LL Bean Outback for free. He explained to me what things needed to be done tp make my car safe. Fair prices for me. Keith knows his stuff! I will bring my car there again.

I took my forester to Keith scoobie surgeons with a bad wheel bearing issue that I had. Keith took it in and fixed the problem and did a complete safety check on the car. The time out without my car was 3 days dropping it off late one day picking up late the day after he called me that it was fixed. Understandable since he is a small shop with a large following of customers. The review of my car has me ready to schedule some more repairs with Keith and his small crew of mechanics. They know what they are doing and are diligent in their work. Keep up the great work you do and I will be seeing you again to work on my Subaru Forester.

Absolutely the best! Soobie Surgeons does excellent work at very reasonable prices. Their customer service is exceptional. I've taken my Outback to a number of different dealers, but Soobie Surgeons has given me by far the best service I've had anywhere. I cannot recommend them too highly.

I would highly recommend Keith and Soobie Surgeons. I had multiple mechanics tell me I had a bad battery, when it was actually a connection terminal to the alternator. Keith and his team were the only ones to accurately diagnose the problem. Since then I have taken my vehicle to him for multiple issues. Very honest in his assessments. Fair prices and timing for the work that is needed. Will definitely continue to use his services!

Took my wife's 2003 forester to Keith with a few problems and fixed them quickly. He also did a complete overall check on everything from ignition to suspension. Also had us bring him some past records to see if the past work was all done right well he found for the timing belt change they didn't change the tensioner pulley . So he saved our engine . I will take her car back there always. Fair pricing and work done in a timely manner to the work required.

Keith and his crew were able to figure out what 2 other mechanics couldn't! It may have taken a bit (mother nature also not cooperating for my strange issue). They were extremely friendly and communicative. Would highly recommend! Thanks again soobie surgeons!

Been having a great experience with the shop for the past 2 years. As a newly graduated international student with no credit or loan options, I found myself needing a car to move to California for a job. Keith, the owner of Soobie Surgeons, who I knew from before offered to find me an affordable car and set up a reasonable payment plan. In no time, I found myself in a lovely Subaru Forester with a carefully rebuilt engine (rebuild done by Soobie Surgeons) cruising down the Pacific Highway. So far I have put about 12,000 miles on the car without any issues. I have stayed in touch with the shop and got great recommendations for oil changes and routine maintenance in California. I would highly recommend Soobie Surgeons to anyone who desires hard, honest, and diligent work along with unprecedented personal attention from their mechanic that inevitably leads to remarkable car performance and driver satisfaction.

wonderful people; my car broke down and they accepted it when every other shop said they couldn't. I was from out of town and had to be eight hours away for work- they fixed it within two days (it was done early afternoon the next day). The owner's wife picked me up from my hotel to get my car and everyone working there were the most helpful, genuine, and honest people. If you're from around the area I could not recommend this place more.

I just had another great experience at Soobie Surgeons (10/22). Keith and his staff do and outstanding job at keeping my 2010 Forester running like new. It's a pleasure working with these folks who take great pride in keeping their customers 100% satisified.

My Subaru Forester had a differential problem (2/21). I could not have been more pleased with the Services which Keith and his staff performed. Keith also saved me several thousand dollars based upon other cost estimates that were given to me by others Soobie Surgeons is now my go to Subaru Mechanic.

This is where you bring your Subaru. Period. Unlike the dealership, the goal of Keith and Soobie Surgeons is to KEEP your Subaru on the road for the longest time with the most efficient repairs. Don't waste time with less experienced or knowledgeable shops. You want someone who knows your Subaru, because they can and will save you lots of time, hassle, and money. Get it done right, for a fair price. Do you really want to pay for the same problem over and over? Soobie Surgeons, 10 out of 10, would recommend.

A magical place (not kidding!). I finally feel as if my Subaru Outback is in great hands and I can relax and trust. Keith also provided expert advice on car-related questions which would in no way benefit him but were very useful to me. Great work, a fun place to visit, reasonable prices, far superior to a dealer. An easy and strong A+ recommendation to those who appreciate skilled work and good character.

I bought my 2009 Impreza used with only 120,000 miles a year ago. I bought one with the flawed head gaskets that were supposed to have been replaced. Let's just say you get what the previous owner neglected like letting it run low on oil. I had to have the engine rebuilt. I was devastated. I was told about Soobie Surgeons by a neighbor and held out hope I wasn't about to lose a fortune. I called Keith and told him my issues. He reassured me he will fix it right the first time and it won't break my bank. It took longer than hoped, but Keith did an excellent job and at a great price. I now have 2300 miles on my rebuilt engine and it runs like a new one. Thanks Keith and team for bringing my engine back to life. 200,000 miles I'm gunning for you. Keith I will be back for any maintenance I need.

Got aftermarket warranty work and routine maintenance done recently and couldn't have been happier. Keith really knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with.

Went in for 105k service and again, very pleased with the care taken with the whole appointment. Every question was answered with great detail, and every supporting repair/service explained. Even found a nagging oil leak (oil pressure sensor). They are my go to shop for my car, its great to have a locally owned, independent shop.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for any company before, but after my first experience at the Soobie Surgeons I figured I should change that! All I needed was an oil change on my ‘18 Crosstrek and Ben was very quick to get the job done. Keith gave me the run down of my car along with suggestions on maintenance to ensure it continues running for years to come. Needless to say, these guys know their stuff when it comes to Subaru’s and they’ve gained another loyal customer!

Keith is very knowledgeable with Subaru's and he's always ready to help. As soon as he lifted up the hood of my Subaru, he was able to tell what has been done with the car. I came in with an oil leak ( I couldn't figure where it was at all) and he was able to figure it out in the first few minutes when looking at the car. His inspection services is free which is really nice and helpful for me, a college kid. Keith is also very kind and friendly. I can listen to him all day explaining how a certain part works or why a part is causing what problem. His work is honest work as he wants you there when he points out the problems of your car. He defeats the stereotype of mechanics and I will continue to bring my Subaru problems to him.

Keith has a wealth of knowledge with all Subaru cars. He is very personable too. He encourages you to look at your car with him and seems to be a proponent for people learning how do do basic things on their own cars to become more self reliant. This was my first visit to his shop and I plan on going back to him in the future.
