Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel

I enjoyed my trip here. I was in town for one night, I wished it was longer! Highly recommend! My room was ready at check in, very clean and quiet for the most part. Only down fall was the housekeepers. I wanted to sleep in a little and they were pretty loud in the hall

Mr. Jacob was so nice to me and my family. I went to take prom pictures there and he gave me 5 star treatment! 10/10 highly recommend!

Great place to stay if you are looking for accommodations in the area. It is close to restaurants, shopping and major roads. Very nicely appointed hotel. Ample parking. On site restaurant. Space for special events. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice rooms with all the conveniences. Would not hesitate to stay here next time I am in Baton Rouge.

For almost four years, I have made this Renaissance my home while my child matriculates at a university in the Bayou! Every single time, they do not disappoint! Ms. Sharon is my go-to person in the back of the house who willfully without fail offers any help she possibly can, along with several other guest services personnel. The housekeeping is on-point and very friendly, although I rarely need anything. The location is perfect and procides everything a traveler could need to stay in or venture out. Our time will soon decrease, but when we come back to visit, I know they will be there with the open arms I have come to crave when traveling.

For the life of me, I do not understand why this hotel is rated 3 stars on Google! I stay at hotels almost 4 nights a week, every week on business in different cities. This hotel is at least 4 stars. Great modern lobby, very friendly and courteous staff, modern and well-appointed rooms with spacious bathrooms and showers. A very nice restaurant and bar with good food. I stayed there for one night on business. I will stay there again next time in town.

This is one of those places I highly recommend as a 'Must experience' if you ever have the opportunity to do so while in Baton Rouge. It is such a beautiful sight to see.

The Renaissance hotel is out go-to for anytime we have friends come to town or when we want a stay-cation. The hospitality team is amazing and makes us feel welcome each time we are there. The events they host are fun and unique including Gingerbread decorating with their head chef! If I could I would give this review a million stars!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Nice job Marriott, this one is a winner. I walked into the beautifully decorated lobby to the sound of live music. The service is top notch as well. The associates at the front desk were friendly and professional. I got to my room and was equally impressed with the accommodations. Really clean room and current decor. I decided to try the hotel restaurant and bar.
I was met by a very classy host, who got me a seat in the lounge. My server was friendly and welcoming. My Old Fashioned was excellent and the food was a quality that I would expect from a high end establishment. I ordered the Chargrilled Oysters and the Shrimp and Corn Soup. Both were very good.
The prices are very reasonable for rooms, food and drinks.
This experience has made me want to stay at Marriott properties exclusively.

Was a Great place, Staff was very friendly but the air conditioning was Horrible and didn't cool!!!!! Even when room was changed didn't get better

Great place to have a corporate meeting or conference. My wife ended up having a legal conference there. Everything was on time everything looked great. Left nothing to do but just to work the entire day on our conference

Renaissance Hotel was an Excellent Stay! Mr Harry, Cheryl n Marisa was Amazing n very Courteous at the Front desk! Mr Harry show me a Suite n it was Clean, Cool n it felt like we were at home! It was a great Treat for my Gran Daughter Birthday n she wants to Come Stay again soon! I would Recommend my Family n Friends to stay there n be sure to ask for Harry! Such an Awesome Greeter n Person one could ever meet! This Hotel has everything you could want n expect for a Luxury Vacation! We Enjoyed All the Great Amenities in this Beautiful Hotel! I've stayed and Renaissance Baton Rouge for week long work trips. The facilities are great. They have live music in the evenings very often and the place is frequented by balls and seminars.

I had a particularly helpful experience when Sharon, in the front desk, received found car and house keys I had left unknowingly in the room after I checked out. Before I even knew I had left them she sent me an email (which is how I realized I had left them). When she heard that I had already landed out of state, she went out of her way to drop them off at fed ex after work on her own time to get them to me overnight! Wow, I was so thankful. Staff like that doesn't come around very often.

This is my choice hotel to stay out in Southern Louisiana.

This is probably one of, if not the nicest hotels I've stayed in. I ate every meal in the hotel restaurant. I felt like John Wick, staying at the Continental. Yeah.. it's that nice. All joking aside, it was truly a wonderful stay. They have many event rooms, and are capable of hosting a wide variety of said events. They are capable of hosting weddings for example. Something I'd personally consider having there (a wedding that is). That's how nice I think this place is. The staff was always helpful as well. They even have room service, i.e. you can have food brought up to your room etc. I'd definitely recommend this for your stay, even if it's only for a night. It's very convenient to have the restaurant there. You can get everything from a hamburger, to a filet mignon, and even a turkey club. Stay here, and you won't want to stay anywhere else.

Effortlessly Amazing & Classy
My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel for a revival (Highways & Hedges) nearby and everything was amazing from the service, the room, and space. This hotel is so classy and clean, the room is spacious, nice details, central ac, wooded flooring, large shower, quick responses for room service, fresh bedding and towels, smells good and clean. Nice outside area if you'd like to enjoy some fresh air.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel! The bar staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. As for the room, it was simply amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well-appointed with all the amenities I could ask for, including a spacious and luxurious shower.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We stumbled upon thos hotel after the hotel we were previously booked at screwed us out of our reservation. I think it was for the best. We had the greatest experience here. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, amazing service and the staff is so friendly and helpful. This hotel is impeccable! Great location for everything. Huge parking lot. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Definitely stay here!

I just wanted to give Ms. Toya her praise! From start to finish her customer service was impeccable. I stayed here a few days ago. The hotel is nice, free self parking, nice area. The food was tasty from the bar. Live music downstairs. Overall great stay.
