The stuff cardiac arrest is made of! Kidding. This place was so good, we came back for a second time and brought family. We specifically went to try and get brunch and was it worth it! The food was delicious and there were so many options, there’s something for everyone. I had an alligator omelette and it was the best thing I’ve eaten in ages!!

I haven't been to Frank's in probably 17/18 years, and it was their other location. This was definitely a treat that I've been missing. I got the alligator breakfast platter with poached eggs, oatmeal, and grilled biscuits. The gator was divine, and everything else was good as well! I'll be back soon!! 😉

Classic laidback breakfast diner experience with ridiculously large portions (at least for a nonAmerican), greasy food, and charming southern vibe and service! Just what we were looking for on an uncharacteristically frosty winter morning for Louisiana. Plenty of options on an extensive menu, including a few vegetarian (but not many). Gotta recommend the sweet potato beignet bites and the gator sausage eggs benny was also delicious! Our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs on this morning so they have gave us a box and we had leftover beignets for the trip home.

Great find for us as we enjoy local restaurants much better than the large chains. The interior is nothing special but it has a comfortable feel. The staff was wonderful and I enjoyed the fantastic food. The prices are in line with most places nowadays, but I feel like we got a bit more for our money at Frank's. Just go, you will not be disappointed.

Down home cooking. Service is great. The atmosphere is better than a Cracker Barrel!! Been eating here for years and it's always the same and trustworthy. My favorites are the chicken and sausage gumbo and sweet potato pancakes.

I’ve lived in South Louisiana my whole life & came across an abundance of delicious rice N gravy plates but this has to be #1. The “Wednesday Special” consisted of smothered beef tips over rice (or mashed potatoes), 2 side selections and a biscuit & piece of cornbread all for under $15. Do yourself a favor & stop by for lunch 🔥

First off if you haven’t eaten at Frank’s then you haven’t lived! Cajun style breakfast is the most flavorful food you will ever eat! Try the alligator sausage or the red stick Benedict. I always try and eat at Frank’s when I’m in town. Service is the best in town. The waitress’ are on it and don’t miss a beat. 100% recommend Frank’s!

Always heard Franks was great. Been in BR for four years and finally went. Everything was awesome. Service was outstanding. Had Diet Dr Pepper in fountain. Would take the final sip and waitress would bring refill. Veggie omelette was awesome. Biscuits were pretty good.

Definitely I'll come back to this place if I visit Baton Rouge again.. We had Bayou Laffate Tower sandiwch and French omelet with hash browns.
Today 2/16/24 I was in town visiting Baton Rouge again, and we decided to come back, it was delicious as I remember last time. This time I had a Boudin Omelett with Mexican hash browns. I loved this place.

This is a great place for an old fashioned breakfast! The pattern on the tablecloth, red and white, reminds me of an old time picnic. Simple and easy to use silverware. Absolutely delicious biscuits! The sweet tea was just right. I really liked the texture of the napkins. Worked well. Back to the biscuits, the only thing that could have been better is fresh jelly or jam instead of prepackaged, don't get me wrong, it was still good.

Hands down the best southern comfort food I've ever had. Great sense of decor and style, insanely good biscuits and Cajun gravy. The service is seat yourself and wait style, but the employees are warm and helpful. I can't emphasize enough he good the gravy and ham was. Amazing.

My boyfriend and I are truckers from Atlanta. We are passing through Baton Rouge. I got the shrimp 🍤 and grits and it was SOOO good!! I highly recommend it! Reminds me of when my grandma would make cheesy grits for breakfast when I come to visit. ❤

Best meal I’ve ever had. Our server Hannah (maybe Anna?) was sooo nice. I would buy a house around the block just so I could eat here everyday. The pork chops were phenomenal and the biscuits were the best ever. Thank you!

Large portions of southern comfort food. I ordered the country fried chicken breakfast platter; it literally took two platters plus a small plate for the biscuits to hold all of the food. All of it is good.

Man! This just became a family fav! Shrimp and grits we some of the best ever! See our pictures to see what we all got! When I mean the food was just a rich as the staff!!! Great atmosphere! Down home feeling! And food your grandma would be proud of, well if she was from South Louisiana! You don’t want to miss this little place! We have to come back to try the rest of the menu!!!

“Enough food to make a Hobbit happy!”
“They ought to supply a wheelbarrow to take you to your car after.”
BillieJean was our server and recommended the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict for my hubs - what a FABULOUS choice! Thick and delicious crab cake on the bottom with a ‘world famous biscuit’ atop it covered by a perfectly poached egg all under an amazingly flavorful sauce. He said it was the best crab cake he’d had outside of Maryland (where he lived 20+ years).
I did the Stuffed French Toast with Strawberries which was three pieces of perfectly done thick toast, covered with a layer of cream cheese, cinnamon sugar, strawberries, with whipped cream towers.
Bacon was cooked well, my over medium eggs were, in fact, over medium.
Even the hash browns were done perfectly!
Overall, a huge win.
So many locals there, too. We were welcomed by patrons and staff, alike.
The whole atmosphere at 0700 was friendly, happy, congenial...
The shirts spoke truth: “It’s All Good”

Love Franks! Biscuits are heavenly, food is usually on point now a days. Used to always been out of this world though. Please don’t lose focus on what matters most - the quality of whats coming out. I feel like y’all must’ve lost your cook awhile ago. The new cook ain’t cutting it. Really watery eggs, sad pancakes, and wild inconsistency with how the stuffed pancakes/French toast are dressed. Sometimes it’s like yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. Other times, I’ve wondered if that was even 1 whole strawberry placed on the dish. Ya even got me on the blueberry! Like 6 individual blueberries on the French toast, didn’t have the glaze with it either, and the bread wasn’t dipped in the batter long enough to soak up the eggs really. I order out a lot from y’all, so I’m never usually sitting in to say something. I know there’s a lot of change happening there right now, gotta keep growing. Please don’t let the quality fall though on the food. I love the atmosphere when I do dine in and eat, your staff are all beyond super nice, polite, helpful if you need it. The focus should be the food IMO ya didn’t ask for, but I’m giving lol.

Food was good except for my sisters pancakes were burnt but mine were good. The waitress forgot a couple of things but was very polite.
