Went there today for a birthday party 🎉 I've driven by a few times but this was my first time there they just did a big remodel to the park and it looks amazing there's a nice lake for fishing or looking at the ducks or geese they all have their babies right now they have a good size play area bathrooms and docks just if the place is really busy find a parking spot because you will get a ticket‼ watched a cop give out a few but allowed a guy to do a burnout in front of him 🤦🏼‍♂ and he did nothing about that thought. Anyways there is big Koi fish bass and sunfish in the lake and there's a waterfall on the other side of the park.

Lake Louise Park is a great park and playground with lots of ducks, climbing areas for kids, and swings. It was a good place to let the kiddo explore. Easy parking too.

I've been coming to this park for a few years. Now I bring my dog with me & he loves it. I'm always seeing beautiful birds & meeting the nicest people. It's a clean & legit park for exercise or relaxation by the water. If you have kids, the park people just put up a brand-new playhouse. Okay, Have a blessed day 🙏.

We chose a pretty muddy day and conditions were actually quite exceptional considering recent weather! The park was clean and maintained to a very reasonable degree. We came for the ducks. The playground has been remodeled and is much better than it was at our previous visits. Now that the park is busier, more restrooms would be helpful.

Absolutely beautiful. The park is perfect for dogs, infants, toddlers, and bigger kids. The swings were our favorite! There are tons of turtles, fish, geese, and ducks. We will be going back

Nice little park tons of people walking their dogs and jogging. Waterfall is cool ,would be nice if there were picknick tables ou benches down by the water to sit and take in the scenery. Looks like the parks department are doing some upgrades and everything was clean and well taken care of .

Really nice clean park. Seems to be well loved by local residents. Would be a great place to take the young ones - seem very safe and well maintained with cool things to do.
Had a nice body resistance workout area. Could be awesome for some type of Tough Mudder event or something. Run around the park and do exercises on the equipment!

Recent changes!! NO PLAYGROUND as they have removed the old in the means of building something new and exciting for the kiddos. I like that the first thing they have officially installed and able to be used now is a handicap accessible wheelchair swing along with some traditional and paired adult/toddler swings next to new convenient handicap parking! Love the effort I’ve been seeing around WNC helping to adjust public equipment to encompass more of special needs. Keep it up AVL!

Ducks are great here! 10 outta 10 would watch again!

But really this place is amazing. The ducks primarily land here, the park is adorable, kids always seem happy as can be here, they have bear resistant trash cans (that took me a while to figure out), it's always super clean, plenty of benches to sit on and lots of clear grass around the lake for a picnic, tons of wildlife including koi fish that are probably 1-2 feet long, a nice child free fishing area, super dog friendly. I always see tons of dogs walking around (always on leash of course) and even they seem happy. There's only one set of bathrooms but they're usually clean (old but clean). I absolutely love this place and beg my boyfriend to take me there any chance I can. Highly recommend visiting this park

We did not know this park exited until I Google waterfalls (in Weaverville?). Loved it. You will first see the lake and fountains but if you go halfway around the lake you will see a small part of the red wheel (park your car). We brought fabric chairs and sandwiches for a picnic. People and dogs love to wade in the shallow water. Later we walked over to the lake, dock, fountains. Saw 2 pavilions but NO restrooms. Fishing noted. We will return. NOTE: DEAD TREE has fallen across some of the waterfall.

Beautiful spot, the walking trails are wide enough for several people to pass, there are benches in a few places around the lake. The lake it's self is very nice with large coi fish, turtles and ducks
The fountain keeps the alge down. There is ample size parking lot. Bring water and sunscreen, it can be warm

This is my favorite park in town!!! I love the lake and seeing all the birds and wildlife. It has a nice playground and is perfect for families. They also have a pavilion for people who want to have little parties there. If you walk to the far edge of the park on the opposite side of the playground you will see the historic Reems Creek with an old Gristmill and beautiful waterfall. It's so peaceful. It's my favorite area in town.

Honestly one of the parks I have ever been to. My kids enjoyed it so muchhhh! We will continue to come back it’s a beautiful park. The ducks and the lake is a big part of the beauty here. The restrooms are so clean compared to some other parks I have been to. The playground is a good size for the kids. The swings are super nice to which is good. A lot of seating and even a work out area. Grills available if you need them. Plenty of room to go walk your pets. I see people fishing here to so that’s really cool. Overall great park.

Wonderful park. There's a great playground, a workout area with outdoor equipment, picnic tables in several areas, a lake, a little river with a water fall and nice walking paths around the little lake. (The only down side is selfish people that have to have two picnic tables to themselves, even when nobody is occupying one. Folks we can do better)
