John Paras Furniture & Mattresses

We purchased this dining table, chairs and bar stools a couple of weeks ago. They really updated our home. Rick was our salesman. We have purchased major furniture items from this store in the past and Rick has always been our salesman. He is very knowledgeable about the goods that John Paras sells but you never feel pressured into buying. He just helps you make an informed decision. The young men that delivered our furniture were also very friendly and took the time to readjust the screws on a couple of chairs so that they sat level. The young lady that works their finance at this location was also very kind and helpful. I have always been treated with respect here. I have read a couple of reviews about not having inventory, it is not just John Paras it is most of the furniture stores that you visit. Covid and the current port situation are taking its toll. Our neighbor said they paid cash at RC Willey's for a dining table and chairs back in Feb and still do not have it. We always visit other furniture stores when we are looking but we normally end up back at John Paras. They have a unique inventory and carry quality items. I wish this store would relocate somewhere else in the surrounding area rather than just closing this location all together. Best of luck to all that work there!

Best sales experience; Jen was wonderful! Answered all our questions and provided information that we hadn’t even considered. Mattresses and frames delivered and set up yesterday. Another great experience with delivery crew under Jordan’s supervision. Have gone back to talk with Jen about bedroom furniture and dining chairs and she again helped us make decisions based on solid information and what we should consider before purchasing. We will definitely be back again and again.

Absolutely the best experience I have had ever had.From the moment I walked through the doors and was greeted by Rick, there was no pressure to purchase, great prices, great quality & selection. Rick answered all my questions and was knowledgeable about all of the items I looked at. I call the store and get a friendly helpful greeting every time. The young men than delivered my furniture were very professional, polite, and knew about how the furniture worked & were just ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Thank you John Paras.. I am a customer for Life..

I ordered new dining Room chairs from a catalog that they provided for me to look at. I was a little worried about ordering them without trying them out but they are absolutely beautiful. The delivery team was amazing and they put everything in its place. Every person I talked to either in the store, on the phone or during delivery was so polite and kind. I would recommend this store to anybody.

Went in looking for two recliners but I was skeptical thinking it was all going to be overpriced. Boy was I shocked to learn that they not only carry quality furniture BUT that it's made in the USA! As soon as I saw that, I was prepared to pay more EXCEPT I DIDN'T! I found two perfect reclining chairs and soon discovered that All my furniture will be coming from this Amazing place.. Oh AND Kent our sales man was VERY helpful.. THANK YOU John Paras..

John Paras does a fantastic job with both their customer service and their product. I like the calm atmosphere at John Paras whereas there is no high pressure sales or strategies to push you to buy. They offer a very fair price and do free delivery! I have found this a rarity as most other furniture shops charge you extra to have the items delivered. Rick was kind and went above and beyond when I couldn’t get the bed frame I was originally looking for. Thanks John Paras!

Very nice staff. I worked with Ben, who took the time to walk me around and have me try out several different mattresses. The delivery staff were on time and on the ball. I actually had a good time BSing with the delivery guys when they dropped off the mattress. Very personable and pleasant to be around. Good experience, all around. I'll get more stuff here in the future.

Excellent sale staff! We were just browsing, trying to find something we liked. The sales team left us to look, checking in now and then to make sure we didn't have any questions. When we finally made a decision, they made sure we could get the colors and styles we liked. I'd recommend this store to everyone!!

Good quality product priced right. Great delivery and setup guys. They reviewed all the features of the sofa and loveseat with us to ensure that they worked completely and that we understood the functionality. Will definitely by there again.

Loved coming to this store! We worked with Ben last Saturday and he was amazing! There was no pressure, he found us what we were looking for, answered all of our questions, and was very sincere. If you come here ask for Ben and he’ll take care of you! Definitely coming back and I’ll be bringing my friends and family as well!

Bought our living room furniture from this place. Employees are very helpful and right on the ball. When love seat was delivered it had a bad spot. I was told it would be a week for the replacement love seat by the delivery guys. Before they even left the gal from the store called and told me the new loveseat would be delivered the next day.

The recliner we bought is awesome! We are very happy. The right armrest didn’t go all the way down. After determining that it couldn’t be repaired, they replaced the chair! Excellent customer care from the Riverdale store.

No pressure salesman. Very accommodating, delivery was quick within 3 days. The delivery drivers were kind and respectful of my home and furniture. Would very definitely purchase from John Paras again.

Back to 5 stars. We bought a huge sectional. The same couch was $1000 more at RC Willey. When they loaded it in our trailer the delivery guys damaged one if the corners. However, they replaced the damaged piece. No questions asked. We've found our family furniture store.

John paras is the best place to buy furniture. I’ve got my whole bedroom set from them 14 years ago and is still new looking made out of real wood. They have the best furniture you could buy. John paras has the best prices on everything and always free delivery. Everyone who works there is so friendly.

When I decided to remodel my home. John Paras took care of all my needs. And some furniture that had the wrong color for me, I was able to select something different...
In the future my bedroom is next. I'll be right in John Paras. I love this store and would highly recommend them to everyone. Not like some other high priced furnitures stores with less quality. This furniture is well made and I'm betting it will last a lifetime...

We bought an bedroom set from Rick last month and the experience was very professional and the after sales was even better. One of the dressers had a few scratches on it and they send a “furniture tec” to see it, we decided to exchange it for another dresser and 2 days later it arrived, I was unhappy with a tiny little scratch on the bottom and they sent the “furniture tec” again and he fixed it, you can’t even tell. The tec and the delivery guys were all very nice.
They had the same bedroom set at Ashley furniture for a $1,000 more and we had to wait 1 month for the delivery, Jon Paras delivered it 2 days after we purchased it.

Excellent service, best you will ever find in Furniture Sales. High quality merchandise for less cost than mass-produced, over priced, lesser quality brands such as Ashley & Lane. 25+ year customer. Hope I can remain for 25 more!

Great dining and bedroom set. Our sales person Dave in Ofden was the best! The delivery guys (Jordan and Steve) set everything up and placed it for me. I would highly recommend them for any purchases.
