Myrtle Grove WMA

My recent visit to Myrtle Grove Gun Range in Maryland left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that safety was a top priority. Everyone understood the range rules and proper firearm handling.

The facilities were well-maintained and organized. The shooting lanes were spacious, allowing for comfortable shooting without feeling cramped. The range offered various target options at different distances, catering to both beginners and experienced shooters.

The range's commitment to safety was evident in the rigorous safety protocols in place. Everyone had to adhere to strict rules, such as keeping firearms pointed downrange at all times and wearing appropriate safety gear. This created a secure environment for all shooters.

Very affordable all the way around, great atmosphere, $5 for the daily pass, you put 5 bucks in an envelope and make the deposit, place is very clean, once you are done shooting you clean up after yourself with a broom, first time here and great people. I would definitely be recommending this hidden gem!

I really enjoy this shooting range! Everyone here has been extremely helpful! Safety first is a constant! I have been so impressed with how courteous and professional the attendees were! I'm relatively new and Everyone I met has been super helpful! However, I have learned that the weekend is probably not the best time. I disagree! Timing is paramount on the weekends! Don't go close to closing hours.

Great people! And I guarantee you'll be able to shoot some exciting guns. The people that come are always so friendly and will let you shoot their guns . You have to bring everything! It has been extremely packed as of lately, but I guarantee someone will let you shoot at their lane.

Great range, make sure you have $5 for the permit/range per person. You have to bring everything (eyes, ears, target, ammo). Please be courteous and don’t be having conversations while ppl are standing around waiting to shoot.

It's an outdoor range, I paid my license fee so I can use it for a year. Besides its cheaper and more convenient than an indoor range. Unless your training for a specific job doing security?

The Range and those who you share it with are all very respectful and friendly. If it is your first time going, don’t be afraid to ask questions to others who are there. They are happy to let you know the proper etiquette and ins-and-outs of of the range. The guy who collects the brass and is the defacto Range Master is super nice and will help you out too.

Came in Father's day weekend to fish. Great place to do so. No people, no trash, no noise. Would come again!

A nice outdoor range that's really managed and maintained really well. The shooters are all respecful of each other and have enjoy shooting and talking. You never know what type of firearms will show up as some shooters have ww1 and ww2 era weapons.

5 stars for the hunting, I have never used the range. Deer season you will see a lot of orange but early season I felt completely alone. Always love coming down

Hidden gem!!!!! Nice little outdoor range! I imagine it can get crowded but on the day I went there was no wait. You can shoot all day just bring your own targets, bullets, and $5!

Very good gun range at a re a sonable price of 20 dollars a year or 5.00 a time. But bring your own gear ,this is bare basics. (Need targets,ammo,gun rest etc.) No automatic weapons separate shotgun range. Closes 0n 14th for 2 weeks for hunting season.

Great place to shoot handguns or rifles. Shotgun range is separate, and there is a bow range, too. Always friendly people to talk to or get advice from. Casual, but everyone is safe. I forgot my targets last time and my table neighbor gave me some. Nice gesture from a friendly guy.

Love this place. You can go fishing and hiking you can take an non motorized water craft out on the water. They keep both bodies of water stocked with fish. If you enjoy being outside this is the place to check out. Also has a outdoor gun range on the front of the property as you come in

I really wish the range was bigger since there’s not a lot of Dnr operated ranges but overall had a great time with my 30-30 marlin cool guys go there to shoot you could deffinetly make a friend there. They got everything you need skeet shooting range separate from the other range that supports every caliber but shotguns must me slug on the riffle range and don’t forget to bring $5 cash for the daily permit I think it’s $20 for the wma permit for a year.
