Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I came to this location because I was really craving some chicken tenders, and I knew that Dairy Queen had them, and they also offered a discount to WCU students. We went inside to order, but we were not able the get the discount for some reason. The food was reasonably cheap though, so that’s not really something that ruined my experience. I got the chicken strips basket and subbed the side of fries for the cheese curds, which was a small upcharge. The chicken strips were amazing and exactly what I wanted, crispy and tender. The texas toast was interesting because the “butter” was similar to what movie theaters offer with the liquid butter you can put in your popcorn. The cheese curds were really good but they had an oily aftertaste. All in all, the food was good and hit the spot. The service was really good and the workers were super kind, also.

I have to say, this place was great because we ordered 3 $7.00 meal of which included 3 chicken strips, fries, drink and a Hot Fudge Sunday. It came out to be $22.47. What I loved the most is they took a few extra minutes to make sure the order was properly placed.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful; the manager helped get everything ready and delivered it to our table outside of what she gave us at the register.

The food was excellent as well!

Overall, I highly recommend this place because of all of the above!

These people here are so much nicer than people in Florida.
The server went out of his way to make us a sundae that apparently they only make in Florida, he looked it up made it for us and had a great attitude about the whole thing. He even made sure it was done just right.
Give that guy a raise and next time we come to North Carolina we will be going to DQ...

They are so friendly and the food and blizzards are great!

I had a great experience today :) I ordered 2 small blizzards. They were made by the book, blended thoroughly, and at a perfect consistency. The woman who took my order did so with a nice attitude and talked with me while my food was being prepared. Everyone was wearing a mask and I felt quite safe. As a customer and an ex DQ employee of 3 years I felt VERY pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere. I'll certainly be returning for more. Thanks!

Incredible employees. Very funny and kind. Food was great, place clean. I wish we had been offered kids tho, the ice cream spilled all over the car bc it wasnt. However, just grab some extra napkins or ask for a lid, and this place is excellent.

Most always a pleasant drive-thru experience. Prompt and courteous service, correct order and what's supposed to be hot is hot and the rest is cold and not melting. So, no complaints for the most part.

I only had a cheeseburger but like I said I only like charbroiled burgers. But I don't know why all fast food places to this put too much ketchup and mustard and it squirts out all over you and nobody ever put napkins in your bag when you're at the drive-thru that's my only complaint. Thank God I had already been to the lawyer's office cuz I had it everywhere

Went an there were a few cars ahead of me but the drive thru moved smoothly an I got hot good food I ordered the soft pretzel sticks an they were steaming hot but sooo good will go back

A large crowd of us descended on this restaurant after a high school graduation—close to closing time. Manuel and the rest of the team met the challenge efficiently and with awesome positive attitudes. Great food, great service! Great job!

I have eaten there often, I've had some of their sandwiches which are excellent. I am also quite fond of their soft serve. You can get it dipped in chocolate, or butterscotch, or plain, which I prefer.

Dairy Queen, as usual, was clean, very fast service, as well as excellent food.

Nope... Stopped at the Mountain energy store for a newspaper and cup of coffee! Did not go to the Dairy Queen. The store was clean and the coffee fresh!! Thanks for a great morning start!!!
