Giant Food

Beautiful store very clean, very well stocked liked the advertised displays. Loved the salad bar my salad was delicious and fresh. So 10 star from me. Cashier was very pleasant with fast check out.

I live in Clinton, MD and drive the 11 or so miles to shop at the Giant in Waldorf because I like everything about the store. I live less than a mile from a Safeway store but prefer to go the extra distance to Giant.

I’ve seen many community members complain about a food desert in Waldorf, and that the shopping options are slim. They are clearly misguided. I moved from Ward 7 in Washington DC where there aren’t more than maybe 2 major grocery stores and the quality is poor. This Giant was great, and I will continue to shop there. I also purchased a cake from there and it was great.

Good staff. Like everywhere else, never enough cashiers. Lastly, having to close an entire entrance/exit due to the high volume of stealing is outrageous. Get better, more/some security/ police in there and let the thieves be inconvenienced, not the paying customer.

Giant is always a clean store with great service!

I recently had the privilege of working with The food department for my Father's repass funeral April of 2022, and I have to say, I was blown away by their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail during this difficult time.

The head person, Joseph Mantundan (JM), was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. the team they were able to offer insightful suggestions and guidance that made the entire process seamless and stress-free, allowing my family to focus on honoring my father's memory.

The team at The food Department was exceptional, and I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. They were prompt, efficient, and worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the repass was executed to perfection. From the stunning presentation of the platters to the delicious and flavorful food, every guest was impressed and satisfied.
What I appreciated most about The food Platter Department was their willingness to work within our budget without sacrificing quality the options they gave us.

They were able to create a menu that was not only delicious but also visually appealing, which made for a truly memorable experience. Their expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly unmatched, and I am grateful for everything they did to help us during that difficult time.

Overall, I highly recommend The food Platter Department for any catering needs, especially during times of grief and mourning. Thank you to Joseph Mantundan (JM)and the team for doing such an incredible job and helping us honor my father's memory in the best possible way.

I recently called Giant and was notified that JM Transferred to another store. I hope he gets this review and I hope that Giant Cooperate reaches out to the team that work from 4:00am for my Fathers repass and offer JM & team a Bonus.They Truly deserve it.

My Suggestion would be $,1000 Each employee who worked on my order. As I type this tears are falling because you have no Idea how I view Giant food and the staff. If anyone out there ever has an event or repass and your budget is not adding up to other catering services please use GiantFood they have a booklet hot or cold trays to choose from you will not be disappointed. My Fathers Siblings did not know we used Giant but they talked about the food for Months.

For now on all my catering needs I’m choosing Giant. When I think back at my fathers repass I really feel like God had that team there for my family (JM) help put the food in my Van and gave me directions when serving our guest. Giant you get 10 Stars because you hired compassionate stars that represents your Brand.

Great selection of brands and specialty items at competitive prices. In today's economy, people need better food prices to help make our budgets work.

Love this store! Fresh sushi, fresh bakery items, great deli featuring Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses, and so many choices that you will never find at Walmart or Food Lion.

Giant in Waldorf, MD has great quality of foods and good pricing. Store is always fully stocked, with tons of items to choose from.

Great - baked goods are fantastic; I checked out myself, left $40 in the change bin, went back and the lady remembered me, saved my money and returned it to me immediately!! I apologized for being so stupid, she told me I was the fourth person that day who had done the same thing and she collects the money and returns it to everyone!!!

This Giant store in Waldorf, MD has a great staff as well as all the usually carried products. The store was clean and stocked. Plenty of parking and easy access off of 301.

Giant food has really impressed me! We are a military family and we've lived in many different cities all over the US and this is the first time we have used Giants. They always have a great selection and things in stock. Today was the first time I ordered groceries on the app and then I went to pick it up everything smooth and wonderful They also have a drive-thru pharmacy! How awesome keep up the work Giants...
