Safeway has a big presence in Washington state and California. Here I am in Southern Maryland with a very southern culture & Safeway was able to get me Smith Field Ham at a reasonable price. Thanks for helping with my holiday shopping

I am traveling so this is not my normal store. On that note this store is very clean. Easy to find everything.

I must say this Safeway is the best! I had a wonderful experience at this location because of "VICKY" in the bakey department! Vicky always has a great attitude and serves with a smile, but on this day she really impressed me. We were looking at the donuts, trying to make a selection and here comes Vicky! She said "wait a minute let me change over to these "fresh" donuts". Now she could have just waited for us to pick/purchase old donuts, making a sale, but because of her work ethic and her go the extra mile she stopped us and removed the stale and stocked the fresh! Vicky is what makes us drive a few extra miles to this Safeway! Excellence is a choice and Vicky chose EXCELLENCE!

Great store hadn't shopped there for ages happy to have one here in Maryland great prices brought me some pork steaks which I couldn't find since I moved here. Long lines but they went very fast. My overall experience was fantastic 😊

Love their variety of products ! They have Asian items,Salvadoran, Mexican, and so much more to choose from! They have a good bakery selection as well!

The staff here are so helpful. I always have a pleasant experience.

My visit to Safeway today was great! Customer service was awesome. My cashier Cassandra was very helpful and told me and other customers behind me...sorry for the wait! While she had to leave the register to check an item for a previous customer. She had an overall concern for all her customers⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Even though I give the place 5 stars I do have a concern when individuals can't separate their personal feelings from the job. I'm a Correctional Officer and I frequently stop in the morning (in uniform) after work to purchase a few items. I understand that current events have darkened the aura of the uniform but when your job is service, reserve your opinion and serve your customer, the rest can resume when you clock out.

I shopped for balloons for my brother's 65th birthday. Unfortunately, they didn't have any 65th balloons AND just as I approached the desk, one of the ladies announced that they had run out of helium. However, the store rep made me a bouquet of balloons and it worked perfectly. My brother really liked it.

Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Store is always clean minus the bathrooms.

Had to buy limes & a Mango for this super yummy Kale salad recipe I'm preparing tomorrow with homemade Thai Peanut Butter dressing (will share pics). Also, purchased Oak Nut bread, Starbucks Cafe Verona coffee and 🤔oh yeah, Drano for my bathroom sink - water has been draining a tad-bit slow. Cashier was super nice and friendly, didn't get her name, but appreciate the warm smile and good vibes 🤗

Very convenient, staff was funny, professional and friendly. There was even a guy who stock items but did not work there who assisted me.
I wish they carried more plant based/vegan options.

Went 2 pk up pharmaceuticals only & the pharmacist was extremely helpful and actually had to re-do my order, as I had left it too long causing a return. He re did both in less than 10 mins, however I stayed for almost 2 hours! Of course the clearance section was loaded w/everything I could want, nothing I needed and only left as I ran out of money! So yes, yes I love this store & the employees from the head pharmacist down to the stackers of products all treat customer's w/respect, kindness, patience, and are always eager to assist w/anything & everything! Literally, I started shopping this location when mine closed down & a lot of the employees transferred 2 this store! Sure there are other markets closer 2 me & another Safeway equal distance from my home which I could go but I'd rather drive a bit further & be treated like family than the more convenient options & treated as a nameless stranger! Who wouldn't!

I was in MD over Valentines Day and stoped at your store for Flowers. I was thankful and impressed by the lady that seemed to go out of her way for me. She was very pleasant and eager to help me find the right arrangement. Her name was Sandy or Cindy I’m not really sure, but thank you!

It took a while, but they finally got Takis at Safeway. Hopefully my nephew will stop bugging me about them.

I have to say, today it was really clean including their black mini baskets, wipes and hand sanitizers were ready for use, and I did not walk down one single aisle without a Safeway employee asking me if I would like any assistance. Awesome place to shop!!!

This store is always well stocked and clean, it's a pleasure shopping 🛒 there. It's out my way because the neighborhood Safeway near my house not always well stock, I call it my 'Ghetto Safeway' store.
