As an impromptu attempt to see sunflowers on the last full week before school starts, we ended up at Serenity Farms today. I was unaware that the flowers really don’t bloom until the festival Labor Day weekend.since we were there, we thought we’d try and check out the animals. I didn’t know you should make an appointment, but graciously, Mr. Gil was there and offered to show us around. What endured next was the highlight of the summer for myself and my 2 granddaughters! We were truly blessed by this man! The animals are incredible, well cared for, friendly. Even the Emu’s were intrigued with the girls. Though we did not pet them! Serenity Farms has always been into educating and here it is evident! Well be back on Labor Day weekend! Please make donations to the farm for the care of the animals. Also some of them are on medicine for medical issues and they also need help with that. Mr. Gil, thank you so much for your time today!

A “must visit” if you are in the area. The farm had it all for entertainment (animal farm, truck rides, flower picking, nature rides, etc), and they also sold local goods (distillery, brews, meats, eggs). It was also dog friendly. Everything is in the open, so no mask requirements for COVID.

This farm is awesome and everyone is so nice! We were able to see all of the animals and the views were spectacular! We will definitely be returning in the summer and we highly recommend Serenity Farm.

Great location! Recently attended for a Buy Local vendor event and it was great! So many great vendors, food trucks and music.

Farming 4Hunger's 2nd Annual dinner on the farm was a great event. Food was from what was grown on the farm. Ryan Forrester provided live music. There were several items up for a live auction.

We love Serenity Farm. I went with my family to the Sunflower Festival and it was beautiful. I recently took our entire Kindergarten on a field trip to Kasper’s Kastle and it was wonderful! There were serverL activities and they loved the slide!! The student’s had a great time!

I am so impressed with this small family-run business. I live out of town and wanted to buy a gift certificate for a family member who lives a few minutes away from the farm, and they were so helpful in making that happen. They even shipped the certificate out to me using next-day service to ensure I received it in time to give as a gift. Thank you, Serenity Farms!

Great Experience! I would say this was the best "Pumpkin Patch / Halloween Mini Fair" in Southern Maryland. The cost is $10.00 w/cash and $12.00 using card. Children under 2 years old are free. This price includes the hayride, the petting zoo ( make sure you bring quarters for food for the animals. It will cost you .50 cents for a cup of dried corn. This was the best petting zoo, I've been to on a barn because you can roam freely and feed/pet the animals. It was neat because the animals roam freely) a visit to the "Kasper Kastle" (a big barn w/different theme settings as you walk through", not scary at all and GREAT for kids), and any pumpkin you want for each paid person upon leaving the area. They also have 2 huge slides for the kiddo's. They sell food by the slides (cash only). They had hot dogs, chips and soda. Last but not least, you can ride back on the hayride to the parking area. This is great for all kids during the month of October! I'll be taking my family here again next year!!! Thanks Serenity Farms!!

The Harvest house at Serenity Farm is the ideal setting in which to source your locally raised beef, pork or lamb, etc., enjoy sweeping views & learn the fascinating history there.

Make sure you visit the enslaved persons burial ground.
