Bo Fung Chinese Kitchen

Seriously the best hole in the wall Chinese food place in St. Louis. Their hot braised chicken is TO DIE FOR! Great fried rice! So good. I don't even live in the area anymore, but any time I go out that way, I love to stop by for lunch or dinner! Absolutely cannot recommend enough! The owners are also so sweet!

Tonight Our Food was outta this world tasty!

We had the Curry Chicken, Crab Rangoon, and Won Ton Soup and savored every bite. We get to go orders at least once a Month from here and have not been disappointed.

Not going lie, they handed & charged me for the wrong order and then I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my order. All that said, when I got home my order was perfect and the quality of the food was outstanding! Well worth the money and the wait! I will not be ordering takeout anywhere else.

Food was very good and hot. There was a missing item from our order, BUT they got the item for us and made it a little special too. All in all a great place to eat!

My go-to carry-out Chinese joint. Pork lo mein, potstickers, and crab Rangoon are all solid. Plus, you get a free order of crab Rangoon once you spend $20. Just FYI because for years we were getting a double order and not realizing it...

Staff is friendly. The venue is a bit dingy, but that may be partly due to the lighting. I have never seen anyone eating in, but I am usually only in there to pick up after 8ish. Parking can be a challenge due to them being right on Gravois.

I came in for a simple lunch from a friendly recommendation; a shrimp St. Paul with an orange pop. I was promptly greeted for my order at the counter and waited just briefly for my sandwich and pop at a clean two-seater. It was hot, fresh, and steamy. The steamed white bread was soft, and the veggies still crisp. The quarter sized shrimp were plump and succulent. I washed down each bite with the frigid fizzy orange drink.

Quick, cheap, great for take out or dine in. St. Paul with pork is one of the best in town and shrimp fried rice and Szechwan chicken are always great.

Bo Fung is a great hole in the wall place for cheap yummy food. Get the medium size dishes when you order, it’s plenty of food to fill you up.

I lived here for three years before I finally found a Chinese place I like. The food is always fresh and the menu is pretty big. The prices are great. I can buy for two for about $20-25 with appetizers included. The staff is nice and speedy. Delivery was also quick too when I've done that. I've never dined in but its window service and can seat about 20 people comfortably. Seems most business is delivering or take out. However you get their food its worth a try. I've never been disappointed.

Excellent! We've lived in South City for 10+ years and somehow have never ordered from Bo Fung until tonight. The food was fantastic - very fresh, perfectly cooked and plated. We ordered for delivery. Service was friendly on the phone and delivery was FAST! Great experience. This will now be our go-to Chinese place!

I have a co-worker that is picky about her food. She enjoys the fried rice and chicken wings. I like the egg rolls and crab rangoon as well. They are friendly and I always eat there. I am going to try some other meals.

I don’t care who you are this is the best Chinese in south city! Only complaint is their crab ragoon very sparingly filled. Super small. Strawberry Chicken is best!!

I ordered Kung pao tofu it was so good I wanted to order it the next night . Thanks for having vegetarian options. 🥰

This has always been my favorite spot since living in the city. The food is always tasty and consistent. The customer service has to be some of the best around and I would say that alone keeps me coming back.

They have strawberry chicken here, so many options you don't see at other Chinese takeout restaurants. Foods good.

The food is always delicious, and not to mention affordable. Their combo plates are perfect for when you can't decide on what you want.
The staff is always friendly, and work to sub out options on the combo plates to better suit your taste.

Food is always made fresh to order too, as many times I come to pick it up after the suggested ready time and have to wait a few more minutes--which is fine by me, as this means my food is going to be hot and delicious!

Bo Fung is easily my favorite Chinese restaurant on the south side. Not only are they incredibly nice, and respectful they are also very accommodating in orders. Their food has a more traditional taste. Not a chief but there are noticeable more vegetables in their dishes where other chain Chinese places have little to none. Highly recommended for anyone who ho loves Chinese!!!

Typical American Chinese favorites, but WAY better than others. The ingredients are fresh and much higher quality. There is really no competition. Just the freshness of the broccoli alone in the sesame chicken makes Bo Fung far superior to any other delivery place. Very fast delivery too; my food is always still to hot to eat right away.

Only recently discovered this place. The first time I ordered curry chicken with fried rice. It was so good that I've ordered it 6 times now and have not bothered to try anything else from there. I want to and I know I eventually will, but I'm still not ready to move past their curry chicken. That's how good it is. The only thing I would critique is that the veggies and chicken are all cut into enormous chunks, but hey it's not a big enough of a problem to take a star away.
