Chapala Mexican Restaurant

I enjoyed eating at this restaurant. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and it was large and came with a side of cheese sauce. I was a bit surprised that the cheese didn’t come on it but that was no biggie. The chips were good as was the salsa and we also got a bean dip which was a pleasant surprise. The staff in the restaurant were very nice and gave great customer service. We enjoyed eating at this restaurant

This Chapala has been my go-to Mexican joint for years now! It only continues to get better and better. Absolute best Mexican food you can find anywhere. PERIOD. Come support an awesome family business and get STUFFED!

Food was delicious, the Flan was sooo good, and Daiseys smile made everything taste better.the atmosphere was a warm feeling, very nice people, if you go somewhere else you loose.

Stopped in for lunch while on a road trip. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious.

Chapala is a family run business with great food and friendly service. The seating is limited so there can be a wait at times. But it is worth it.

Picked up take out while passing through and we were not disappointed! Had beef enchiladas with rice and beans. Also husband had a couple tacos. Chips and salsa completed the meal. It was all really good! The young man taking our order and cashier checking us out were great. Thanks again, wouldn't hesitate eating here weekly if we lived in the area.

This was my first visit. I was skeptical upon arrival and when being seated. Not much space to move around when you first walk in and there were others waiting. There is not much seating at the moment, but it looks like they are expanding or remodeling. The staff however was wonderful! Very friendly and courteous. The bean dip is ridiculously delicious! My food arrived super hot and fresh. I will definitely return.

Hands down the BEST Mexican we have ever had! My whole family enjoyed the food, and my wife said her margarita was incredible. Aside from that, the service was top notch. We are from SC but can't wait until our next trip up so that we can visit Chapala again.

I was stationed in South Texas some time ago during my Army Career. I enjoyed some incredible Mexican food.
I can honestly say that the food at Chapala is as good as anything I ate in South Texas and Northern Mexico. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful.
My wife and I eat there frequently and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food, the service or the price.

Best Mexican restaurant you're ever going to visit. Not only is the food absolutely divine and super filling, but the people who work there are so kind and friendly. The family that owns it are especially wonderful people who showed special kindness during a dark time in my life.

I have been coming here for two years. Nice food and large menu with all the usual suspects. Food comes out hot and delicious. Lots of lettuce delicious white cheese and guacamole. Large portions. The worst thing that has happened is it took a long time to get our food once, had to ask.

If i could give this place 10 stars I would. I would say Mexican is by far my favorite food and most Mexican places around this area are horrible and bland. I have been to most of all of the Mexican restaurants in a 100 mile radius, searching… and no other place even comes close. Me and my wife go here regularly and have for the past I don’t know how many years now and it’s always top tier and consistent. If you like real home made salsa, or spicy sauce they have the best habanero sauce I’ve had at any restaurant period. Most places have tomato sauce and call it salsa, it’s shocking. If you like good, clean, authentic Mexican food, this is the only place within 100 miles in my opinion. Also wanted to throw in they have clean restrooms and a clean and friendly staff, which is a big plus. If you have not checked this place out, you have done you and yours a injustice! Do it now and don’t listen to the few negative reviews, those people think the Mexican place next door is good (barf) so that tells you all you need to know, there are 2 types of people when it comes to Mexican, the ones that prefer bland tasteless barf and have no taste buds and the real ones! Who are you!

We were out of our local county and it was later in the evening,9:15pm, on a Saturday. We were tired and very hungry. We went to several other restaurants in this small area and everyone was either drive thru only or were picking up for the evening not serving anymore. So we walked up to this restaurant and the sign said closes at 9:30... well an employee said "come in, we are open" We asked if they were sure being they were closing soon, he said "no, come in please". We have great service and great food!!!

A family restaurant with consistently good Mexican food. I have never been disappointed. I'm amazed at how low cost it is. Definately high value. Why go to a Fran food drive thru when you can get a meal this good?

They are awesome! The food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is always positive and welcoming!
