Helen Fitzgerald's Irish Grill & Pub

Luckily my hotel was right next door to this establishment and I came here on two consecutive nights. This was particularly good given the freezing temperatures outside in mid January.

On the first, Sunday evening I was confronted by a lively atmosphere as the clientele was watching one of the off season NFL playoff games. I counted at least 20 screens all showing the same game with the sound volume turned up LOUD. Anyway, a young waitress tried to look after me by shouting in my left ear. I started off by ordering a draft Zwickel beer. Then I went for the Reuben - corned beef with sauerkraut on toasted rye bread with sweet potato fries. It was tasty enough if a bit on the dry side. So I went on to try the Samuel Adams winter beer.

At the end of the game I decided to leave and combat some latent jet lag. And on the way out my chatty waitress teamed up with one of her young colleagues who told me that they had gone all around the place and had counted at least 66 large TV screens including one that would make a cinema proud. Impressive.

On the following evening, having eaten a little earlier, I popped in to catch the postponed NFL football game from the Sunday and enjoy a Millers lite. All good

Came here for lunch for my father in laws retirement party. Food was really good. Our server was super attentive and friendly. And really liked the room we were in. I was surprised for it to be so busy on a Friday lunch time. But they definitely can keep up with it. Would love to come back some other time.

Great experience tonight! Our waiter, Jordan, was very friendly, attentive, and did a fantastic job of keeping our drinks full. We lucked out and came in on “kids eat free” night, so that was a bonus.

Food was great, service was great, an all around great experience!

If i had to marry a restaurant, this would be the one i would choose. the original wings here are marvelous. the chickens that these wings come from must be sent from god because i’ve never tasted anything like them. eating them is like seeing a glimpse of heaven. they are so crispy the perfect amount of crispy. and the chicken is cooked perfectly. and the sauce is glorious and brings me true joy whenever it touches my tongue. the fries here are just as good. they are seasoned beautifully and also so crispy but not too crispy. if you order the wings and the fries you also have to get ranch and extra sauce on the side because that’s the right way to do it. the water here is also incredible. i don’t know where it comes from but it tastes like it’s from a fresh glacial stream in northern canada. it cleanses my body when i drink it. this meal is my favorite meal and if i had to eat one meal for the rest of my life this would be it. this would be my last meal on death row. everything about it is crisp. imagine what your dream meal tastes like. this is what you’re imagining.

Helen's is a great place to go for any occasion. Our fantasy football league drafted here, and they were extremely accommodating. Service was fast and accurate, and they got extremely busy on a sunday afternoon. Food was priced well and delicious. High recommended the cheese curds and wings! Never dissatisfied when we go to Helen's.

Passing through St. Louis and this restaurant was next to our hotel. We loved it! It was a busy Monday because of hockey, but the place was full and lively and still rocking along just fine. The food was delicious, we had appetizers and entrees. The helpings were generous. Our server Valerie was awesome! The place (she) was busy and she still managed to stay on top of everything we needed. Definitely recommend this restaurant to tourists passing through. Little hometown feel to it :-)

Went there for a birthday party and only had appetizers. The wings were good, but would have preferred the sauce on the side. The wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this place for a gathering of friends. I didn't realize there were games available until we were leaving. Will have to check those out next time.

Great food. Kids meals came out ahead of adults, which is great. Shepherd's pie was flavorful with the right ratio of meat, veggies and mashed potatoes.
Restaurant section on one side and bar on the other allows both atmospheres to coexist.

It was a great place for us to hang out after a big work conference/gala. Was a great place to catch the end of a game or listen to live music while still being able to have a conversation without yelling. Great service!

Really great. I went on a Friday night for dinner. Great lively atmosphere. For how busy it was , was actually serviced pretty quick. Got a few beers, food came out in 20 ish minutes not bad at all for a big rush hour, food was great. Buffalo wrap with cybergs sauce very tasty would order again and would go back to this restaurant

Super bar food. Definitely not healthy but great when in the mood for comfort selections. Portions are large. Reuben was amazing. Wings were excellent! Good beer and wine selection as well. It is quite crowded so be patient.

This place and the service we received was top-notch. My buddy (who has been a long time fan of this restaurant) and I recently went to watch the Monday football game between the Packers and Giants.

The food was amazing and I want to talk about that more but really it was the service that was spectacular. It was a double header and Miami was playing on the big screen. We asked if we could get the Packers game and they of course obliged. Even after that we thought it would be too much to ask to turn off the music so we could hear the commentary and considered getting the food to go but the manager allowed that for us as well and specifically came up to let us know that he was a Lions fan and jostled with us a little bit about the NFC rivalry.

Great waitress, great manager, great food. What more can you ask for?

Izak was a great waiter! He took care of all 7 of us at our table, plus our 5 spouses who sat at another table ( the Wives/friends, and the Guys/friends). What a special night! Plus, the manager made sure both tables were ready for us when we arrived. Great job!

Great place for family dinners special events or to just grab a drink. Food awesome and staff is great.

Fun time! Great service (even while the place was packed), food was delicious, and they had an awesome band on stage! Major sports games on the TVs so you don't miss anything. This place is a hot spot!

Great place to hang out. If you are there to watch a big game, be prepared for a long wait on food. But service is friendly and food is good. Trivia nights are fun as well

Great customer service and the food was delicious especially the chocolate cheese cake. Our waiter John was outstanding. He was very accommodating and he was able to serve our party of 18 with no problems. He got every order right. Kudos to John!

I was there for my birthday party. Very good food and surprisingly great and attentive service, considering the place was packed. Good acoustics for the band. Overall, it was a great experience all around.

Extremely cool little place. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and the food we had a turkey wrap with french fries and a meat lovers Pizza. Would be glad to go back anytime

I have been coming to Helen's for YEARS! This is a great happy hour spot and night out spot!

Happy hour - many apps for $5 and they are all tasty! Toasted raviolis, sliders, pizzas, etc. Drinks are also discounted and a good price.
They have a good selection of items on their regular menu to choose from as well. They use Syberg's signature sauces on wings and thangs.. which I don't care about because I don't prefer it - but if you like that sauce you can get it here. Their fries are also crispy and delicious!
I've had chocolate martinis and white russians here and they were always made well.

Night out - they have a restaurant side, private rooms and a bar side. The bar side frequently has amazing live bands and it is a vibe!

Our family has also used the banquet rooms on a few occasions and it's always been a great experience. The events were catered and staff was available for drinks, etc. If you need a room for an event, Helen's is a great option.
