Had a great experience shopping today at this Home Depot location. The employee that helped us was both friendly and knowledgeable and asked us if we needed help almost immediately. Glad we picked this location, we will be back.

Hint (for any large store): go online to their website and look up each item, making sure that each product is in-stock at your location. Carefully search for the aisle and bin numbers on the website. Plan your walking search accordingly.

This location usually has everything I need for from a big box store for my jobs. Drainage pipe, lumber, fasteners, tools whatever. I could probably find some stuff cheaper at other suppliers but you can’t beat the convenience. It’s also close to most of my jobs. The staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful to.

While it wasn't an experience without issue, I did enjoy my visit to this location. Mainly due to Melanie(I hope that's spelled correctly). She was our cashier, but so much more. She was helping locate products that were listed as in stock but not in the correct spot according to the app. She also took time out to talk to us, and she was upbeat the entire time. She truly made our visit enjoyable. I did have an interaction with a manager and she was nice as well. I will frequent this location when I am near. Thank you to Melanie, especially.

I went to Home Depot's Sunset Hills, MO store today to exchange two-(2) propane tanks. The initial attendant (don't know his name) tried to find two-(2) full tanks. There were four-(4) bins of propane tanks and after finding one-(1) tank, he couldn't find the second one. While checking the fourth bin, the key to the lock broke off. He went inside and got "Ron" the head cashier at that time (02/17/2023: 12:45 p.m.). Ron removed the broken part of the key, but was unable to open the lock. He arranged to get a credit back on my credit card, and walked me inside to "Cindy" at the Service Desk. She handled the credit along with taking the time to write out the series of events so I would not have any trouble getting the "Exchange Rate" when I came back in, because I decided to leave the extra empty propane tank there. When I was finished, I walked out only to find the Amerigas Company truck there exchanging ALL the empties with FULL propane tanks. Ron gave me the second tank I wanted and he said 'this one's on the house, since you were inconvenienced'! WOW! That was great customer service! Ron & Cindy need to be recognized for trying to take care of my issue! Thanks! Greg Wolf

I had been to another Home Depot location 2 times(making 2 different purchases) before coming to the Sunset Hills location to finally get what I needed. Therston in Plumbing was AWESOME. He was super respectful and listened to the challenge I was dealing with. He then took the time to not only help me solve the problem but test each piece and mark with tape so I would remember. I cannot thank him enough for taking the time to help me solve my problem!!!

Fantastic service! A friend and I were looking for a few unusual items and we were approached by an employee who asked if we were finding everything okay. We told him the things we needed and he knew where all three things were, he even walked us to each of them! It’s so hard to find great (or even good) customer service these days but this store and this employee were outstanding!! Thank you Samuel!!! We will be visiting this location again and HIGHLY recommend you use it as well!

A return I did this morning could have turned into a nightmare but the kind folks at the service desk were bound and determined to figure it out and did. Thanks

Lotta love for Depot! It's the kind of store that you walk in and you just get this warm fuzzy feeling inside. Similar to when you take a kid to a toy store! That's the feeling you get, as a man, walking into home Depot! Found a wallet in the parking lot there. I know what you're thinking, it's my lucky day. Not really though. I had to wait around to track down its owner, cuz that's the right thing to do, which in turn made me late but he was glad he got his wallet back

I always have a great experience at this location. The day crew seems to know what there talking about. Tho the night crew has no clue at times. (Just bodys)

Nice store and the people who I met there were very helpful and friendly. I rented a truck and that went very smoothly and my online pickup was ready and waiting. They helped me hold in the rental, I think they did a great job. They also have the kids workshop kits at the first of the month. Overall a good experience.

I've recently made many trips here during a home makeover. I've also ordered online twice for in store pickup- smooth experience both times. What really sets this place apart for me is the willingness and availability of employees there to help locate items or answer questions. Too often we forget what great service is like these days, especially at such a large chain store. Home Depot in Sunset Hills is doing it right!!!

We were trying to finish up our choices for the LL redo. Very good service from Joe in Flooring...not only did he help us see color variance in two styles. He showed us the product online to envision an entire room completed in the materials we looked at.
So grateful for his help.

Our power was out and I needed to look at paint swatches and some other things, so I brought the dog to Home Depot to cool off a little and get some energy out. We had such a nice time. The pup made probably 15 new friends, they all had snacks for him, and one even brought him a water bucket. We picked up a few things we needed, looked around sniffed all the things, and chatted with lots of dog lovers. Lots of new home projects on the horizons, so we will be back!

Went in to get a couple of boxes and had no idea where to look. I asked two nice ladies near the front and they were able to direct me to the correct area. I went to the area and there stocked with everything I need to get my package together to be able to send off in the mail. Their self checkout was also clean and wiped down after ever use with covid still being a thing its a nice thought not having to worry about with their checkout area

I always love coming to Home Depot. They have everything I need and their service is much better than other alternatives. I feel like their staff actually knows what they're talking about and will often give me suggestions I never would have thought of that typically save me money. They do a great job and the specific location is the place I always go out of my way to get to.
